I went to this location to initiate a new lock installed and was told it would be 2 weeks. In this time, I have been having to go from the location on 3624 Commercial to the 1050 25th st. The difference in customer service at this location is astounding. The large man with grayish hair is the most incredibly rude and dismissive person and from several other reveiws, I am not only one reporting him as such. I went in because informed delvery said my pkg was delivered to 3624 Commercial P.O. due to there being a hold on my mail (until I get a new key) this pkg was a medical test ordered by my doctor and was time sensitive. When I went to the counter, the rude employee was at the next terminal over and listening to the conversation. The girl at the terminal just kept asking for me to show her the informed delivery email. I asked her to please go check for my pkg, she refused to leave the counter and kept saying it isn't here and basically saying I never received such an email as they don't take pkgs there (???) the rude employee next to us chimed in with a "its not here" at which point I started to walk away from the counter trying to hold in my anger at both of them, but failed when the girl behind the counter said WOW like I had done something wrong! I lost it. The big guy kept yelling HAVE A NICE DAY to every word I said from there on out. He is rude and dismissive of customers without reason and if the complaints here are any indication, he should not even have a job anymore. I sure wouldn't if I treated customers the way he does at my job! Beware here..oh and I did finally find the Informed Delivery regarding my test and YES it was delivered to the 3624 location and SENT BACK tot he sender that same day! What is VERY disappointing, however, is the fact that the building and grounds, which were very nice when brand new not too long ago, have fallen into a terrible state of disrepair. There have been ceiling tiles inside the building, right over the heads of the workers at the counters, missing and water stained because of a leaking roof. The employees actually have to put buckets on the counters for the nights and weekdends during the rainy months of the year. This has been going on for almost two years now. The grass is always dead and weed-filled throughout the Summer. The bushes and shrubs outside are all over grown and not maintained. The grass is very often over grown and tall, full of weeds. The sidewalks haven't been edged in years.. I could go on and on. It is very disappointing. The Post Office is supposed to be the one business in town that is a beacon of cleanliness and order. It is no wonder that many friends have commented that they have not even been to the post office in years. It's just not a very inviting atmosphere.
