It has been 5 weeks since i moved into my new apartment and the key I was given for the mailbox did…read morenot work. I went to this location to initiate a new lock installed and was told it would be 2 weeks. In this time, I have been having to go from the location on 3624 Commercial to the 1050 25th st. The difference in customer service at this location is astounding. The large man with grayish hair is the most incredibly rude and dismissive person and from several other reveiws, I am not only one reporting him as such. I went in because informed delvery said my pkg was delivered to 3624 Commercial P.O. due to there being a hold on my mail (until I get a new key) this pkg was a medical test ordered by my doctor and was time sensitive. When I went to the counter, the rude employee was at the next terminal over and listening to the conversation. The girl at the terminal just kept asking for me to show her the informed delivery email. I asked her to please go check for my pkg, she refused to leave the counter and kept saying it isn't here and basically saying I never received such an email as they don't take pkgs there (???) the rude employee next to us chimed in with a "its not here" at which point I started to walk away from the counter trying to hold in my anger at both of them, but failed when the girl behind the counter said WOW like I had done something wrong! I lost it. The big guy kept yelling HAVE A NICE DAY to every word I said from there on out. He is rude and dismissive of customers without reason and if the complaints here are any indication, he should not even have a job anymore. I sure wouldn't if I treated customers the way he does at my job! Beware here..oh and I did finally find the Informed Delivery regarding my test and YES it was delivered to the 3624 location and SENT BACK tot he sender that same day! No attempt to send it to the correct location, nothing. No wonder they both knew my pkg was not in the back since they sent it back to sender! If you can, go elsewhere,do so.

Received a letter stating that I could take the package to ANY post office to return for the claim. The counter person was rude and very unhelpful. Finally, after being argumentative, got a supervisor to take a look and she was also fairly rude. I was told I would have to take my package to the Main office where I would need to see a customer service rep. because they apparently cannot do the whole job at this location. The Main branch is also the passport location. Again, the customer service was frustrating. The whole process for their failure to deliver a package that was undamaged took nearly an hour. Employees really need some retraining at the West Salem branch. Complete and utter infuriating situation that the USPS caused.

These 2 old women must have had horrible lives to be so rude, forceful and mean. I read the horrible reviews on google before I went there so I purposely went in with a smile and friendly upbeat demeanor and I walked out cursing like a sailor. I went in to drop off a pkg that had a pre-paid label. All Satans daughter had to do was take the bag throw it in the bin and keep it moving but Noooo! she asks, are there any explosives or whatever they ask and I said no. Then she says you have this in the wrong bag. I'm like wth (in my head). It was a priority bag. She goes its not a priority label. I point to the label which said priority as well. I tell them its a return and that's the return label they gave me. She asks, where is the bag it came in? I'm like that's the same bag it was mailed to me in. Granted, there's a language barrier. However. I am white as rice and every old lady in there, especially the one with white curly hair, is incredibly rude to me. They charge the most they can to provide services that the USPS provides for free (like giving you a receipt for delivery confirmation) and those old gals make it look like 1989 in there. No technology, nothing. There's handwritten signs everywhere, like, hey stand here and read all this stuff, and we're gonna treat you like an idiot if you don't read them all. Maybe it's time to close up shop and knit, or continue dying. They do provide free USPS Priority Mail boxes to mail (that really should be next door) and 'ol white hairs yelled at me one day for grabbing 2 of them. I held them up and showed her they were the free ones, I'm not trying to shove them down my pants like some hooligan. But if she crept up on me I'd knock her the eff out.
