To be honest I really miss the previous owners (Dennis and his wife) as well as Stephanie. They were always helpful and pleasant. The new owners are not helpful and the counter staff is rude at best. And the prices are so out of reach. I picked up a bag of chocolate caramels that had maybe 10 small pieces in it. The price was $9.95 - I was shocked and put them back. The Mail Depot is very convenient, well located and has ample parking but honestly if you want to stay in this neighborhood try being nicer to the people that help pay your rent. read more

I have been getting my business mail here for years but since they changed ownership a little over a year ago I have had very little interaction other than just grabbing my mail from my box. As weather and pandemics changed out holiday plans last minute we found ourselves needing to ship packages. We got there here about half an hour before they closed for the holiday, and being that they have likely experienced every level of shipping nightmare over the last few weeks, they could have been anything but jolly to someone standing before them to ship holiday packages on Christmas Eve. That was not the case, they were very good to work with and even though our plan has never been to celebrate this holiday prior to New Year's weekend, they found the best and most affordable way to get our packages into the hands of their recipients with time to spare. They also have a great gift shop so had we needed any last minute gifts, we would have been set. read more

Whenever I go here I always get fast service which is a breath of fresh air. All my packages are always scanned if they are prelabeled.. and the workers have always been super friendly. I always seem to find cute merch here too when I stop in :D All around great place! read more

Their website says the do UPC code scanning to print shipping labels but they don't. They even say they're aware but cannot change it. So they charge me $1 to print a shipping label even though I've already paid for shipping. I know a dollar isn't much but for a sheet of paper? To make things worse, I ask were an official USPS is and they tell me but say it's closed due to a holiday. It's not a holiday. Since it wasn't far, I decided to drive by and it was packed and fully open. It's a small gouge, but still not right to do. read more

Great little post office/gift shop place right next to Walgreens on Liberty Road where Skyline and Liberty meet. It looks like a beige house and is rather deceiving, but trust me there is a post office in there!! AND...they do NOT charge a "surcharge" for mailing items. The price you pay here is the same exact price you'd pay at the regular post office. I got here after getting lost in the other Liberty shopping center and arrived at about 5:50 PM. They close at 6 PM. The front counter lady was very friendly and helped me with my packages as we chatted. Well, come to find out they do not take credit/debit cards...Cash or Check ONLY. Yikes!! So I had to run over to Walgreens and take out cash and run back. Well, Walgreens took 15 minutes to help me (another story in itself) and then I RAN back to the store and the lady had waited for me before she closed up for the night. She had also got my packages off and mailed BEFORE I got back AND she had my custom forms filled out for me too! All I had to do was sign!! Talk about customer service!! No one does that anymore!! Well, except this kind lady. Thank you again for helping me out! I will definitely be back...it's much easier coming here and not having to fight traffic and post office lines at the 5 PM closing time at the Commercial post office. Amazing customer service, Dennis went well beyond normal average service. We were sending a large package to my sister who lives out of state, our box was to large and would have cost us well over $100.00. I had used this store frequently, but after today I will drive a little further to a business that cares for its customers. On May 30th, 2020 not a single employee that I could see had a mask on. They obviously don't care about their customers. Go someplace else where you are respected. read more

This is a US Postal Contract Station. They also have Private Mail Boxes, which is different from a PO Box. With a PMB you can have packages delivered, it's considered a residential address, and the employees are always there to sign for the package for you. They also have a small country style shop, the have boxed and packing materials, and you can ship from the store via USPS, FedEx, and others. The staff will always go the extra mile for you. read more

This mail service has packaging materials and a large table to work on, so you can bring in your items that need shipping even if you don't have supplies. They work with FedEx and UPS. The gift shop is fairly comprehensive so if you are really in a hurry, you can put together that nifty birthday gift and ship it out all in one shebang. There are gifts appropriate to all including books, toys, foods, lotions etc. the mom and pop operation is super friendly and helpful. Parking is a breeze. A true convenience. I use to hunt for boxes and packing supplies when I needed to send stuff in the mail. At the Mail Depot, you can buy a gift, wrap and package and mail it all at one stop!!! They have everything, even greeting cards. No hassle parking and usually no long lines like at the Post Office, plus the people who work there are very personable. read more

This place may be convenient, but it's a rip off. I went there because it's close to my house and I like to support local businesses. I was mailing a 5 X 9 document mailer envelope. When l questioned the high charges, I was rudely told by the older man working at the next station that I was sending a "package" and that was the minimum charge for a 1st class package. This item was going only 50 miles and should have cost 1/3 of what I was charged. Next time I'll just go to the "real" post office. read more

I always go to the Mail Depot when I need to mail a package. They even have a packing table you can use, and they have all the express mail envelopes and boxes right there, plus packing tape, labels,etc. The staff are really nice, and the cost is the same as at the post office, but you don't have to wait in line. They also have gifts and cards, plus a cute little bakery right as you walk in (I'm not sure what the name of the bakery is -- it's fairly new). read more

I was in Salem visiting family and needed to get supplies for packing a few boxes of china. Yelp led me to this place and I couldn't have been more satisfied. Not only were their prices reasonable, their stock quite extensive, and the service friendly and professional, but the positive energy in the store really was palpable. It's a delight to the senses when you walk in the door, whether from the bakery inside, or the wonderful scented things on display. They have gorgeous decor and beautiful things to buy. I having been reading the reviews on this business and the one with one star and two stars are way off. I have been coming here for 10 years and have a post box here. I have to have the box here because UPS and FEDEX apparently can't find our house in the country. They leave our packages down the street or at neighbors houses. This is real inconvenient when they are away on vacation and don't know a package is at their door. As for the slowness that one of the reviewers wrote. Yes it can get slow if a lot of people come in at once but what place doesn't. Have they every been to a Post office if a lot of people come in at once. It is slow there slow too. I think it is a great place and I think the little store is a great place also. I don't recall it having too much religious stuff but if it does who cares it got a ton of other stuff also. I also like the fact it has a wonderful little bakery in the same building. read more

I recently had an amazing experience at Mail Depot. I arrived with 3 pkgs ready to mail. One, a very large box exceeded the 108" limit for large pkg rate. What that meant for me is the total for mailing the box was $102.00! The owner and her employee were determined to help me get this pkg to La. for less. After exploring several options, the decision made was to try and resize the box by cutting down the container. We unpacked the container, peanuts and all, shifted the bassinette to another angle, cut the box down from 20x20x40" to 20x18x36. I didn't think it could be done, but these women are pacing and service "SuperStars"! The total cost of getting that package to $40.00!!!! I could NOT believe what they willingly did for me AND my wallet! I have always spread the word about how painless this business makes sending packages...they are stocked with tape, labels, peanuts-all free and a large inventory of mailing boxes, envelopes, bubble wrap- the works at great prices! They have all rates for Fedex, UPS, and the Postal Service and will let you choose mailing method based on price and arrival dates.They even have a packing station where you can work! While, I will never again arrive there unprepaired about large pkg restrictions, I will definetly spread the word about this amazing business and the great staff there! read more
