This is not a fedex office rather the shipping hub that sends all the packages to go out. They have limited packing supplies but enough to get it done. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable if you have your tracking number. Don't confuse this location with fedex ground that's somewhere else.. if your box is ready to go this is a great drop off place. read more

Order: shipping a product back to company with QR code for return Pros: the place is really clean Cons: I pull up my QR code to be scanned and then the lady acted as if she wasnt going to be able to scan the QR Code because this location only accepts certain return codes. Now Ive returned Fedex packages here before with QR codes no problem. Then, the lady asked if I had tape to package the box, I said no I did not. She proceeds to give me a lecture stating I'll let you get away with it this time but if you do this often you're going to have to pay for tape. Ma'am Im a grown adult. If you're going to tape the darn box save the unnecessary rhetoric. Sheesh! She was on one today and wasnt very pleasant. read more

Worst shipping experience of my life. My package is "signature required". I live alone and work days, yet they keep insisting on sending my package out for delivery after I've told them I won't be home. No local number to call. Only 800 number to reach someone in a foreign country. I've been told by them twice that my package is back at the station for pickup. Been there twice but first time it wasn't there and "wont be back here until after we close". Second time they had decided to close at 3 instead of 5, and I arrived at 4. On the only day I could be home to sign for it I called to 'schedule' the delivery for after 2PM. The foreign man told me it was all set and gave me a ticket number. I get home after work that day at 1PM. And there's already another 'tried to deliver' sticker on my door which they left at 12:45. Now I don't know whether to wait here for another delivery attempt, or drive to the station again and risk missing another delivery attempt. It would sure be nice to talk to someone locally who actually knows where my package is and can tell me how I can actually take possession of it. After this, I will never ship anything FedEx. read more

Unreliable shipper. Sender sent me large shipment of meat, chicken, and fish on Friday, and specified overnight priority shipping for delivery on Saturday. Package sat in LA until Sunday, and then arrived in Salem Monday morning, two days late. Will not use FedEx again. Cannot rely on this shipper. read more

0 absolutely no stars for any FedEx anything. I have had multiple delivers over the past year from FedEx. And every single one has had issues. The most recent one they managed to deliver a 1TB Xbox series x to the wrong address. The picture they sent wasnt even the same color as my house. Cant even emget a real person on the phone to get it fixed. So now they have cost me time, money, and ruined my surprise present for my husbands birthday which is tomorrow. I refused the package per wrong order from seller and as seller's intruction. There is no other option. As I did refuse to accept the package, in 15 minutes, FeDex sent me a message that they would try to deliver the same package "tomorrow" (!!!???). I took a trip to this main office to let them know the situation. "Oh! It was updated on out system". It was on the 5th. As of today, the 10th, my FeDex account still shows "Delivery "Pending" ". Not only that, I did put a note in there (on the 5th, for this package) "Return to Sender". What I did not know, this instruction will be on all packages that sent/have sent "To Me". this is the worse delivery experience I have had. they only tried to deliver from 8-5 and I work for a living during those times. no weekend delivery. and the last time they tried to deliver the package they did not ring the doorbell. I was suppose to have a package delivered next day delivery. But for some reason fed ex flies my package from central states to east coast, before they flew it back to the PNW. Well next day delivery didn't happen, its 4oclock the 2nd day waiting on package and still nothing. Although I found the location closed at 1:23pm on a Wednesday due to "short staffing", I hung around because the sign promised someone would return between 1:30 and 1:45pm. Twice in the past month, FedEx has delivered packages to our home. Their employee damaged our property on purpose (ripped a sign off our wall) and stuffed it under a bush in our front yard. Twice!!!! We have a security system and have the truck and driver on video. We took this down to the office where the employee works (25th street, Salem, OR - on the airport property) and the manager could not have cared any less if he had tried. He was completely non-responsive. We will be escalating this issue. However, we will never again purposefully utilize Fedex... as they obviously have no interest in holding their employees accountable for knowingly and willingly damaging customer's property. Ok as a service snob and not a foodie, well never-mind the usual thing doesn't apply as FedEx is a service. Now I don't expect a great deal from delivery people. I expect the package I ordered, in some relatively useful shape. I mean warehouses, am I right/ I'm right aren't I. So I have ordered the same thing from the same supplier 9 times. Of those 9 attempts I have received a successful order once. Some or all of my order is utterly damaged. And I don't mean, opps we dropped it, I mean "why is there a forklift hole in this box? Wait, why are there two?" And they still try and deliver it. One box was missing half the contents. Why even bother to try a delivery when half of it is missing? And now, they aren't delivering because....I dunno maybe they are tired of having to pick up the busted boxes they have previously dumped on my driveway. And I mean dumped. I have tried to convince the shipper to use a different company, any company, as a 10% success rate for some basic shipping needs is unacceptable. But as long as I need this supplier, and FedEx pays for the damage, no one but I care. read more

I was really hoping to pick up a package today that has been sitting at this location since 9:23am today. It's scheduled for delivery on Monday before 8pm, and it's beyond me why I couldn't get it today. But I'm sure there's a good reason. Maybe the truck leaves earlier than that. Don't know. But I spent a great deal of time trying to figure out where exactly my package was so I could see if I could just pick it up myself. I tried calling the 800 number listed for this location, but the automated assistant just ran me in circles. I couldn't figure out how to actually talk to a person to ask the question. So I called a different FedEx pack and ship type location. The person who answered at that location was able to tell me where it was and said customers could definitely go pick up packages early any time during business hours. She didn't have a number for them, but said I should be able to just drop in as long as it's before they close at 3:00. So, I drove 20 minute across town and explained my situation to the gal at the counter. She was nice, but said that she was pretty certain I would NOT be able to pick it up today. However, her attitude and customer service were positive enough to warrant a higher rating than my annoyance at the situation would have given. Like another reviewer a couple years ago, I was told she couldn't get it because she was the only one there. But unlike the the previous reviewer, I got a solid explanation. Right off, she let me know that IF it was in a can (I got the impression that some sort of shipping container), then it takes 4-5 people to get into it to look for a package. She said she could check the computer to be sure, though. And yep, it was in a can. It then occurred to me that I imagined stacks of boxes all over the place in some sort of garage. But I guess that doesn't really make sense logistically. As much as I wanted to offer to come back with 4-5 people, I asked a few more questions. While I didn't get the answers I wanted, she politely and apologetically explained that my delivery window was up until 8pm Monday and that having it held at another location would NOT make it available a day early since THIS location would be closed (so there's nobody to get it there before Monday). However, she said that if I choose to have it held, there was a good chance it would be available by around 10:30am if I pick a Walgreens location, and they also stay open until midnight (I was concerned about my work schedule Monday). So, long story short...I'm annoyed that my package is in town and I can't pick it up. I'm annoyed that I spent a lot of time trying to find out if I could because this info was not readily available, and that I couldn't find a direct phone number. I'm annoyed another FedEx locations said I could go pick it up, then drove across town to find out I could not. These are definitely some areas that could stand improvement on FedEx communication and customer service. However, the gal who helped me (forgot her name) was courteous, sympathetic and professional. She didn't make the rules. She didn't set up this way of doing things. And she couldn't have done anything more for me than she did as far as I can tell. She did great. So the four stars are for her. this is the second time in less than a week that I have gotten poor customer service from this place. tom answered my phone call today after I saw my package landed at their shipping facility and it wasn't going to be out for delivery. once I told him that I needed this tanning supplies for today and that I would like to just come to the shipping center to pick it up he stated I can not because he is by himself and the shipping container would have to be unboxed etc etc.. I called him on his bluff and caught him in many lies. example 1: so your saying there is no one today that can possibly just try to find my package? he said no I am the only one here today. so I said so your telling me if I came down to the facility you would be the only person in the building.. his response was we just cant give it to you today... I said so your lying to me? cause before you said you don't have anyone in there.. long story short I have had this situation happen quite a few times in which packages get delayed I request to just pick them up and they allow me to. unfortunetly dealing with tom was a very very bad customer service experience. he overtalked me, raised his voice getting pissy with me and full out just wasn't helpful at all. very disappointed in him as a customer service rep for fed ex. read more
