It's been a minute since I've found myself visiting a post office. After this experience I can't imagine why. I normally don't like to leave negative reviews but this experience left me so disappointed. I had to send a package out for something I sold. I had a prepaid label. Sure I could've dropped it straight in the drop off but I wanted a receipt to have proof I sent it off in case there's any discrepancies later. The staff was very rude. They refused to help me instead referred me over to the kiosk. The kiosk wasn't scanning my package and wouldn't let me get a receipt. Again I got in line for the person to send me back. I told him it didn't work and so he told me he'd meet me at the kiosk. At that point it was like I was asking him to climb Mount Everest or something because I could tell he didn't like I bothered him to do his job. He met me at the kiosk and basically acted like I was an idiot and did everything on the screen I'd done previously. Afterwards I tried scanning the package. It didn't seem to want to scan at first. Finally it scanned and I got my receipt the guy then took off. Horrible customer service! I'll definitely avoid coming to this location next time I need to send something out since no one there clearly wants to be there. I get better service at Walmart sadly. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. I have tried to reach them by phone mutiple times at different times of the day. They do not answer the phone ever. Several times Ive had tracking show that a package was delivered to the Los Vigils community box and they werent there. One time 5 packages were tracked on the same day. None showed. I filed an APD report and one with USPS. I left letter to the mail carrier informing them with copies of the reports. The day after all 5 packages showed up. 8 full days after tracking showed they arrived. This has occured more than once. Its not to hard to figure who us stealing the packages or not doing their job is it? read more

Reason I have some of my packages as signature required because some people steal. And I stayed at home all afternoon so I can get this package. And this delivery person for my route today, didn't even attempt to come to the apartment. When the apartment building I live in is RIGHT NEXT to the mail boxes & clearly has the building letter right there. Now I have to go in tomorrow since they want to be lazy & throw the slip in my mailbox and not try. And I needed my package for tomorrow. read more

Too slow when they have their long lines. I'm an Uber customer and had to tell my drivers to go as the lines are too long, one time waited 50 minutes with a very sore throat 2 Christmases ago and it was during the COVID holidays. I got worse two days later, they have to find faster ways to move up the lines and that day, 3 human servers were handling the one by one standing up orders. Too slow. read more

Zero stars if I could. I Just had a horrible experience here. I try my absolute best to treat people with respect and am terrified of being labeled a rude customer so if anything I am usually overly nice so that I'm not being disrespectful or rude to people... as that is an absolute pet peeve of mine. This has got to be top 5 worst experiences and treatment I have received. The employees are absolutely unhelpful, rude, and I would almost guess they take pleasure in NOT sending out the mail and helping people and treating them like idiots. I should have known I was going to get horrible treatment when they dealt with the man in front of me with zero respect... and made him walk out in frustration and embarrassment. The gentleman obviously had a language barrier, so, while I understood the issue they were having, it could have EASILY been remedied with a little kindness and compassion. All he needed to do was rewrite the PO address on his box differently as 3 lines instead of 1, but they would not help him do that and just stared at him like he was an idiot KNOWING he couldn't understand him. Maybe show him what it needs to look like or do it for him? I was about to step forward to help (cause the employees obviously weren't going to), but the man was so flustered he just walked out without mailing his package. Maybe that is why they decided to be completely unhelpful and downright condescending and rude to me when it was my turn. I was also treated like an idiot and like it was MY FAULT they didn't deliver my package the first time. She literally told me my new address wasn't correct (which the system took), that I should mail it to the same address that they didn't deliver to the first time. She argued with me the whole time. She had to backtrack several times, and when I got frustrated because she was telling me both addresses weren't valid EVEN THOUGH both showed in the system and USPS has delivered to multiple times (the person I sent a package to got one from USPS one day after mine was rejected to the exact same address.. she blamed the recipient for rejecting the package). This review would be far longer if I did a play by play of every condescending interaction I had with her while trying my best to not get frustrated while being treated horribly. She finally sent my package out... and I had to pay yet again. I might have been a bit impatient by the end, but it was downright embarrassing how horrible multiple employees were talking to people. I absolutely will NEVER return to this post office... I'm just glad my usual ones I go to have helpful, kind, employees that I've NEVER seen treat people this way even when there are lines out the doors and they are super overwhelmed. I'm 70 years old and in my entire life I've never had a problem with the post office until moving to the 87109 ZIP Code area. This is an absolutely horrible post office. They lose my mail, try to charge me for Amazon free shipping packages, and refuse to" deliver bulky packages altogether. The people in the post office don't make eye contact they interrupt, they don't say please or thank you, they don't smile, they are gruff, and flat out lie. Rude clerks! Horrible customer service. I am friendly every time I go in, even when I get stuck with a rude clerk. My experience has been just horrible. The clerks talk over you when you are trying to explain why you are there. Today the clerk could not find my mail which is being held due to change of address. She just shrugged her shoulders and said "I looked, I don't know what to tell you". Ok. I proceeded to tell her the gentleman that helped me out a few days ago said my mail would be ready to pick up today. She stated "I don't care what the other clerk told you, your mail is not ready". Every time I go I deal with the rudest clerks. Huge lines and terrible service. The clerks are not helpful. They talk down to you if you ask questions. In fairness, there are a couple clerks that are always happy and do help, but most of the time, I get the rude one. It took this post office almost two months to figure out how to forward my mail - and that was only after I lodged a complaint. read more

I fully expected them to not let me sign for a package addressed to my wife, but they did, even though my ID didn't match the package. They took my word for it and were nice about it. This place is surprisingly really quick even when there's alot of people. The only complaint I really have about this post office is that a couple times a month I'll have tracking that says something has been delivered, then I won't get it until the next business day. That needs to stop. read more

Extremely rude clerks. When I went in to mail some certified letters, the clerk went "that many?! Ugh!". No eye contact or effort to see how I'm doing. When I went in again today, I was in line a long time and told to go to the wall to grab certified letter forms. She had them right there with her. I like that this post office has a kiosk to buy stamps and mailing things out can be quite easier than most other post offices, but if one is picking up mail or anything else, one has to wait forever. I came in yesterday because I paid for a mailbox online and was going to get the key, but the woman at the desk was very rude and wouldn't give me the key because my driver's license had a different address. I showed her my renter's lease and identification but she said that she couldn't help me. I couldn't get a better reason than that, and it frustrated me, so I left. I haven't had my heart race in annoyance before, and I needed to get out of her negative energy. So, I left. I have to get a mailbox soon, so I have to go back, I just hope that I don't run into that again. read more

One person working the counter at 4pm on a Friday. I have been in like for over 10 minutes so far and only moved up in line by one customer. There are still 9 people ahead of me. At this rate I'll be here an hour and a half :( On top of that I have been dealing with mail theft at my home address since September. No one has done anything about it after numerous claims filed. Got a PO Box in hopes of receiving all of my mail to no avail. Had my mail forwarded from my home address and have not received a pay check all month! A friend of mine mailed me something to my home address and instead of it being forwarded to my PO Box it was sent back to her. All of this during tax season and now I am worried I haven't received all of my w2's. No one at the post office seems to give a shit. read more

This post office honestly sucks. I have been trying to get my mail key for over a month now and STILL have yet to give me mine. First I showed up to the post office and asked for my mail key and the lady was a total brute about it (to a point if she weren't at her place of I would've punched her in her forehead) and told me I needed my lease and had to order my key. AFTER I bring in my lease she then goes to tell me that it's going to be ordered and she can't give me a time when it will be in. I waited approx a week then gave a call to see where my key was and the man was a dickbag and tried to say it's not here but the lady is good at getting them in at 2 weeks then started sounding like a dumb ass broken robot stuck in a endless loop telling me "she's good at getting them in at 2 weeks" OK mf I get it. Todayyyyy 3 WEEKS LATER I called and asked if my was ready and here goes the broken record again with the SAME MAN to which I told him this is week 3 and it's still not ready which he regarded and then continued to repeat himself. Maybe he doesn't speak good English because he didn't seem to understand at all what I had told him. Then after I repeated myself 3 TIMES he then said oh well she does like 300 keys a week but she's dropping off a batch tomorrow so you can check then. This has been the absolute WORST experience I have ever gone through with a post office these people fucking SUCK and their company just condones to it. read more

I think "Yah! I'm a fan" of the post office probably sounds weird. I am going to review this particular location. So if you want a rant about the postal service or a critique on how they can stay in business, you aren't going to see this here. If you have noticed any of my other reviews I have mentioned that I just moved to Albuquerque New Mexico. While I was making my arrangements I knew I wouldn't really have a permanent residence in the land of enchantment. A post office box is what I needed, so I could start to get mail in New Mexico. I started the process in Las Vegas NV and let me tell you this was a big headache. Not on the Vegas side though. You see the Sin City post offices see this all the time since the Vegas is so transient. The hard part was explaining to the NM post office what the heck I was doing. They sure didn't make it easy. So now that I have set the stage you can see when I finally arrived to NM I was a tired of getting the run around from the post office in NM. I entered this post office on my lunch break during the week with my fist in the air ready to do battle. This is were the I was hit in the face with kindness. A level of customer service that looked really out of place in a United Sates Post Office. The lady behind the counter had strong accent and I was explaining that I just wanted the keys to my P.O. Box she interrupted and said, "It's no problem sir, I can get your keys." I stopped talking. Was this really happening? The women behind the counter went and got the keys and entered all the info in the computer. Wow! If you live in the area the employee's in this branch are top notch people! Cheers! read more

If you'd like an understanding as to why people concentrate most of their items being sent via e-mail, FedEx, or UPS, it's because the U.S. Postal Service lacks customer service and expediency. I hate to say this but I have had the worst experience with this so called post office. I have had to call the Post master general 3 times they would "drop and run " or not deliver at all! They are to lazy their not willing to wait 2 minutes for me to get to the door! They are to lazy to do their job I have lost several valuable packages thanks to the incompetent fools at this branch! The customer service is a joke all the people I've seen so far at the counter look sad, grumpy, roll their eyes at customers, and theirs no smiling involved. Put in a mail hold and got email confirmation, not surprised that they delivered the mail anyway. Sent in a complaint, never heard a word back. This location doesn't care if they are contributing to possible I.D. theft, or having your house robbed because they won't do their job! read more

Avoid this location if possible. I put a hold on my mail. Upon returning home I found it stuffed in my box and on the ground at my front door. When I went in to get my mail showing them my hold notice, there was none. I then showed them my bag of picked over mail that had been left at my door. They were rude. It was no different than their usual attitude. I use the location at Osuna next to Monroes. Susie is quick, polite, and knows her job. I wish she was in charge of my mail delivery!! read more

Put in a hold mail and they did great, it was the giving it back part they couldn't figure out. Still no accumulated mail or new mail three days after the hold mail expired. Tried calling office number numerous times throughout the day and the phone just rings and rings. So I guess I have take up my time and go there which from my previous visits will eat up at least 30-45 minutes + driving time. No surprise that USPS is in dire financial straits with this customer "service." read more
