Both employees were quite helpful, efficient and very attentive to detail in notarizing our documents.

The post office charges 3.60 for registered mail, but UPS Store charges 11.60. What a ridiculous rip off! just go to the Post office.

I normally don't like to leave negative reviews but this experience left me so disappointed. I had to send a package out for something I sold. I had a prepaid label. Sure I could've dropped it straight in the drop off but I wanted a receipt to have proof I sent it off in case there's any discrepancies later. The staff was very rude. They refused to help me instead referred me over to the kiosk. The kiosk wasn't scanning my package and wouldn't let me get a receipt. Again I got in line for the person to send me back. I told him it didn't work and so he told me he'd meet me at the kiosk. At that point it was like I was asking him to climb Mount Everest or something because I could tell he didn't like I bothered him to do his job. He met me at the kiosk and basically acted like I was an idiot and did everything on the screen I'd done previously. Afterwards I tried scanning the package. It didn't seem to want to scan at first. Finally it scanned and I got my receipt the guy then took off. Horrible customer service! I'll definitely avoid coming to this location next time I need to send something out since no one there clearly wants to be there. I get better service at Walmart sadly.

Several times Ive had tracking show that a package was delivered to the Los Vigils community box and they werent there. One time 5 packages were tracked on the same day. None showed. I filed an APD report and one with USPS. I left letter to the mail carrier informing them with copies of the reports. The day after all 5 packages showed up. 8 full days after tracking showed they arrived. This has occured more than once. Its not to hard to figure who us stealing the packages or not doing their job is it?

BEWARE: Apparently Refrigeration Is a Secret VIP Benefit. Now I understand why this location has a…read morelow star rating. This review is for the UPS Store at 8226 Menaul Blvd NE in Albuquerque. For approximately nine months, I had refrigerated medication shipped to this location as a UPS Access Point. Every shipment was refrigerated, so I reasonably believed temperature-sensitive medications would be handled appropriately. Then one shipment was left unrefrigerated and ruined. An employee acknowledged the issue and documented it. Management had my contact information. No one called. No one apologized. No one followed up. When the replacement shipment arrived, I finally heard from management not to apologize, but to explain that refrigeration is merely a "courtesy" for non-mailbox customers and that I should not expect my medication to be refrigerated unless I pay for a mailbox. So apparently the policy is: refrigerate medication for nine months, never tell the customer it's optional, leave a shipment out and ruin it, then explain afterward that the customer should have somehow known better. Even more impressive was being told that the store bears no responsibility because I didn't pick up the package fast enough. Apparently accepting temperature-sensitive medication and then failing to store it properly is not the issue the customer is. If refrigeration is not guaranteed, customers should be told before packages are accepted, not after a shipment is damaged. Based on my experience, if you have refrigerated medication, choose a different UPS Access Point.

**********…read more Not a place I'll return to - even though I am in High Desert across the street. Unimpressed with the service and pricing. Example - Today I asked to have something shipped Two - Three day service. Had some miscommunication and reiterated I wanted an "estimate first." Finally the estimate: $56.50 Wait .... ..... what? For a small envelope and tiny box 1.5" x 1.5" (...photo included). Headed 2.1 miles away to USPS and it cost two day service at $9.95 This isn't the first time I've experienced sticker shock here - YMMV of course ... I encourage you to request an "estimate" first, regardless of how reluctant they are to provide. What they usually do is begin by asking your telephone number, and if you're not in their database... Then they'll start asking you your return address information (if you've already provided them the destination address in writing)... So what they do is they try to get you "invested in the process" And then you are "less likely" to step away from the counter after your "sticker shock." Slick sales process ... subtle and slick

It's tough right now but a lot of places are doing the minimum necessary but it's apparent here that they're thinking about the smaller things to keep people safe. So, in addition to handling packages, drop offs, etc., they've always been pleasant and helpful even if the place is busy. For COVID, they require everyone in masks, have markings on the floor for distancing, they keep the door open (minimizing touch points and keeping good air flow), shielding, hand sanitizer, separate containers for clean/dirty pens, and even little bags next to the pin pads so you can put your hand in one and not touch the pad directly. This is the ONLY place that I've seen with something like that which is awesome to see a small business really being conscientious of those types of things. I liked these folks before given their convenient location, easy pick up, taking care of packages requiring a signature, etc. but the extra care they're taking in these crazy times is truly notable. Keep up the great work and stay safe!

Or at least explain to us so we have options. We didn't know it'll be a problem as we were only given one label, and was told it's an easy drop off for return. I'll change the review from 1 stars to a 4, thanks for taking time to reply and explaining the situation. Original review: We ordered two boxes of diapers that arrived with the wrong size, as two boxes under a single order, so we have to return them, and we confirmed they were delivered by UPS. This UPS store refused to take two boxes for a single return of the order and required that they be combined as a single package. If UPS can deliver 2 separate containers for one order they should be able to accept two separate containers for one return label. Hope the $7 tape we had to buy to tape the boxes together was worth this review.

When I telephoned UPS an associate (I know the name) told me that my mailbox had been deactivated and someone else had the mailbox, regardless of the fact that I had paid for a full three months. After many calls I spoke to the Manager, Tracee, who assured me that my mailbox was still active and that she would promise to forward my mail to me. Eventually, I received my mail but I was too stressed out during that period which was completely unecessary.
