Staples is my go to place for all my stationary needs. Bought a new HP printer here last month. They I have my printer ink refills. I get my printer paper and some craft supplies here too. I needed a new stapler and pencil sharpener. Yup! Got that too. The staff is very helpful in helping locate what I need and gave me good guidance in picking out this printer. read more

I normally have a pleasant experience every time I go to staples. Especially since I started printing my business cards with them and they do Amazon Returns.. Everyone's usually pretty polite and helpful except for the young woman doing Amazon drop offs. She greeted me with no words and a dirty look. I approached her politely with my box of Amazon returns and I'll admit I had atleast 10 items to return, and it must be very frustrating to have to click the button twice per item. So I'm assuming she must've been upset that she had to click the scanner 20 TIMES in a row.. Idk lol. She kept looking inside my box to see if I was almost done handing her stuff- and impressively still managed to hold the dirty look on her face the whole time. Every time I looked for the bar code and ensured I handed her the correct item, she purposely started working twice as slow to grab the item out of my hand. Again, very impressive. I would understand if I approached her with a bad mood but I remained polite and respectful, I even apologized in advance for having quite a bit of items. Besides the point, Staples, do better with hiring customer service worthy employees. I honestly couldn't help but laugh at the situation.. I even glanced at her male coworker in disbelief, because I could not believe she was just being unapologetically being rude to me for no reason. read more

The company's website says that they had something I needed so I wasted my time driving here. I finally was able to capture the surly manager's attention. He told me that they didn't have the product and that it was corporates fault that I had wasted my time. This is why I buy stuff on Amazon. Amazon isn't killing retail, terrible employees and lousy infrastructure are. read more

Horrible customer service. Walked in with a large printing job and could not get one person to help me. I stood at the print counter for a good 10 minutes while they waited on every other person who walked in after me. Was told several times "will be right with you" and that "they only had three people on the floor". I will take my business elsewhere to a place that wants my money. read more

Staples is one of those places that is supposed to not be memorable. You have stuff you need for the office, you go in, you move on with your day. However, this particular location is always memorable, every time I visit. And not in a good way. I have never. And I'm not exaggerating - I mean literally not one single time - been to this location and not had the cashier have a problem checking me out. They can't get their scanner to work or their code isn't working or they have to switch machines or they need a manager to come put something into their system or or or... You are a tech store. You can't fix your technology? Also, there are always managers standing by the front door asking people if they need anything when they enter the store, but every time there is an inevitable line (because checking out is a TASK), they won't make eye contact with all the people they are standing right next to in a cattle line, watching their poorly trained cashier struggle. Customer Service is the only reason that people walk into brick & mortar stores anymore. Needless to say, if this Staples is any indication, Staples will simply be a website soon. read more

This is one of my go-to printing spots, mostly because the turnaround is so quick! The staff is helpful and the prices are fair. Of the few projects I've have completed here I had trouble with the color on one but overall the value is good for the price. read more

I went to Staple's with a simple request, I had a printed page I wanted an enlarged copy of. One page. Enlarged. In Color. The guy went into a lengthy explanation of how this would need to be done and then said it would be 24 hours before I could pick it up. I just wanted the picture enlarged, nothing fancy. So I decided to go to Office Max, where they did it in 5 seconds. All I can guess is he was lazy and didn't feel like doing such a simple task. read more

I needed to attach some documents to an email and did not have my usual computer equipment working, so I took the docs to Staples and they showed me how to create an email with the docs included using their most up to date equipment. The woman who helped me was very patient and guided me through the process with ease. Think I'll be using them more often now. read more

This staples has always treated me well. The staff helps out willingly, and the manager is very proactive in addressing any issue and dealing with concerns fairly! They also have a "frequent flyer" program and an ink jet recycling process that offers rebates! read more

The customer service has really gone down hill. I went in twice this past week and was never greeted nor offered help. The cashier Ralin was far to concerned with her phone, to acknowledge or simply say hello as she helped me or other customers. Sad because I used to enjoy trips to Staples. read more

Please see below for the letter I wrote to Staples customer service department: August 6, 2017 To whom it may concern; I was in your Cottonwood location, in Albuquerque today, and had the unfortunate experience of coming into contact with your store manager, Ray. As a business professional with over 20 years of customer service, 16 of those as a manager myself, I am able to quickly differentiate between those who take service to customers seriously, and those who view it as a chore. I am disappointed to report, your store manager at this location falls into the second category. Today, I went in to the above mentioned location to pick up a large copy center order. The store manager, Ray, was at the counter in the copy center assisting customers. I took my place in line, behind the family he was assisting. After patiently waiting while he finished assisting them, it was my turn, and he promptly walked away. This "gentleman" walked to the front registers, left me standing there in plain sight, next in line, and brought a new customer from the front registers to check them out. At this point, I was standing at the counter, waiting to be assisted, as it was my turn. He checked out their purchase, which was a ream of colored card stock paper, while completely ignoring me. I had to move out of the customer's way so he could use the POS terminal to complete his purchase. As soon as he was done with them, he walked around the counter, and kept walking right by me, as if I was invisible! I looked at him dead in the eye, and asked, "Why do you not want to help me?" He was so inconsiderate, rude and dismissive, his reply was, "They are copy center," and he kept walking. Please understand, I was never once assuming or rude. There was nothing I had done to this point but walk in and wait in line. I was never greeted or told, "Hello, these ladies will be with you shortly," or "May I help you?.... Oh, you need assistance from the copy center staff, let me get someone to assist you." He just helped people in front of me and never even acknowledged me. I am so aghast by this flippant, dismissive attitude by a "manager" that I felt it my duty to inform you, whom ever that may be, in upper management. After he so abruptly walked away, I stood there stupidly waiting to be helped. A young female employee helped me, and I explained my experience to her. She was kind, and apologized for the rudeness of her manager, Ray. I have a corporate credit card, and had I not been in a time crunch, I would have taken my $200 + dollars of business elsewhere. Suffice it to say, I will not be shopping there again, and will tell everyone I know, and post to my social media accounts this disgusting display. I am still so completely insulted and confused as to why I was the recipient of such unwarranted, uncouth behavior. I felt it my duty, as a customer service advocate to inform you, so perhaps, you may recoup some business, before this unprofessional, rude employee you have promoted to manager damages any other business relationships you may have. After myself and the sales attendant looked high and low for an Erin Condren address book, he then searched online to see if they had the book on the Staples website. No-go. We searched the planner aisle for other address books that I could get... I could not find any I wanted there either (too plain.) As I was looking around further, the attendant came out and brought me a cute address book, maybe from the back? I was so thrilled because he spent a lot time trying to hunt down what I wanted. Better than the Staples on Central. Nothing phenomenal though. They have all the basics plus some stuff you wouldn't expect in an office supply store, like hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers etc. I thought it quite odd since there is a Home Depot right next door. I don't generally go to Staples for a hammer. Ink on the other hand is what I do look for. They have a large selection of ink which is nice. Having an ink cartridge buy back program is nice also. It would be better if you could apply the check they send you to buying ink, but that's not the case. It works for paper though, so that's good. Man oh man, the staff at this location rocks my socks. The second I walk in the door, I'm acknowledged and asked what I'm in search of, then walked over to the coveted item I'm seeking. I came in a few weeks ago to have some maps printed since the ones I had were pretty beat up (dispatch maps) and the printing associate was SO helpful! The first couple of copy attempts came out bad, but they fiddled, taped, adjusted and did whatever they had to do in order for it to come out right. Once they were happy with the finished copy, they laminated it for me so it could take all abuse I'd put it through. Office Depot should take some notes from Staples, that's for sure. I definitely recommend this location for all your office supply needs! read more

The Staples website states "we'll match the price plus we will discount it by 10% of the difference," but was told at the store when purchasing an item today that they have no way of doing the 10% discount. When I called Customer Service, they said because I bought the item at the store, they couldn't do anything about it, completely disinterested in fixing the problem. read more

I had an issue with my phone system which I purchased from Staples ,when I brought it back Ryan a tech there who is extremely knowledgeable helped me pick out a new system and I also got a refund from the old system. I was lucky to have shopped at Staples to begin with as their customer service is always above par. My in-store experiences at Staples stores around Albuquerque have been so poor that if my experience last night had been bad, I was ready to never do Staples again. I needed a wall charger asap for a Samsung cell phone, not an iPhone. Wandering in the telephone section of the store, I was actually approached by an employee who asked if I needed help - shocking all by itself.
