After I dropped it off at your store stating the hdmi port was broken. I gave this company two chances, and almost gave them a third. The first time, it was to repair a charging port on my Clevo PB71DF2-G, also sold as Schenker Compact 17 PB71DF2-G). The repair technician hadn't seemed to work on this type of computer before, but they did the repair. I couldn't be sure if it was their fault or not unfortunately, but when I got my computer back, the screen no longer worked. Some damage had been done to the connection where the cable joins the screen. Instead of calling me about it and telling me what happened, or what might have happened while they were repairing it, they just went ghost and left me hanging. The reason I wasn't sure it was their fault is because I had attempted to remove the bottom of the computer myself, but I didn't think I was so rough as to pull the threading out of the motherboard that the screen cable connected. If I hadn't have done what I did, I would have made them pay for the repair of the cable. Conclusion from first experience: BAD COMMUNICATION about unexpected damage, and possible damage done to computer due to incompetence, though can't be sure. The second time I went to them after buying a new screen and cable. I asked them to fix it. The manager of the place said that it would cost a little bit more than the $100.00 down payment to do the replacements. They ended up charging me $200.00 more. That's right TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS, for a total of $300 in labor!!!! THE SHOP OWNER CHARGED ME FOR HIS EMPLOYEE's INCOMPETENCE! It shouldn't have taken more than an Hour! The manager fired his employee that day after the employee had basically pleaded for me to pay the full amount. I even overheard the manager chewing out the employee as I was putting my stuff away getting ready to leave. I almost let them replace my laptop, I guess because I am a forgiving chump. I called them to follow up on whether or not they had ordered the keyboard they said that they would on my last visit. They said that they hadn't. LACK OF FOLLOW THROUGH! They didn't even bother to call me to get clarifying information about the keyboard after they fired the employee who had taken all the notes on my computer. They said to send information over to them about the computer so they could do the look up, and they started to respond to my messages, but then started to ignore them thereafter. I called and said it might be easier if I just ordered it because I was able to do the research pretty quickly. THE GUY COULDN'T GET ME OFF THE PHONE FAST ENOUGH! It was extremely rude. They must have the most toxic work environment at the company. In conclusion, I was treated awfully, and basically got scammed out of at least $150, if not $400 because of the parts and the additional labor I payed for to get them to fix the damage from the first repair. Now that I have had consistently bad service and have gotten a feel for their company culture, I am leaning on the side of having been scammed out of $400.00 from the boss not being willing to make up for mistakes made on behalf of the employees. Took a laptop in to replace the cracked screen. Took a couple weeks and when we got it back the screen would black out after just a few minutes. Took it back and after a couple more weeks they said they needed to replace the motherboard. After seeing how the owner responds to complaints and negative feedback we won't be returning to this business. read more

I took two of my laptops in to get diagnostics done on them to see what would need to be fixed. I was quoted a price around $250.00 to fix both so I agreed to have the work done. A week went by and when I called they were still trying to fix one of the laptops. I was told to call the next day and they should be ready to be picked up. I called the next day and the tech had left for the day and I was told they would contact him and he would call me to inform me of what was done. I didn't receive a call back so I called the following day and was told they would have the laptops done by close of business. I was then told that the price was $100.00 more than I was quoted originally told. Also was told I would get a discount if I paid in cash. I came in on Friday and was now told it would be over $400.00 (another increase). Within the next few days I noticed one of the laptops were damaged and I had taken pictures of the laptops prior to bringing them in and there was no damage. When I called to talk to the tech he said he noticed that the corner was damaged and thought it was like that when they were brought in. I supplied pictures of the non damaged laptop and was told by the owner that they didn't damage the laptop, the owner refused to admit they damaged the laptop and continued to try to talk over me as I was explaining my point and he hung up on me. Horrible customer service, changed the price of repairs several times and it increased each time. I have noticed that the computer doesn't run as fast as it used to and the only thing that was replaced was the hard drive and battery. I will never take anything here again even if they were the only repair service in Albuquerque. I won't be referring business to them either since they can't seem to own up to their mistakes. Extremely dissatisfied and out of $400.00, and the computer is freezing up like it can't handle regular programs. I wouldn't even give one star rating if I could but it needs something in order to post the review. The owners reply: Allen D. The tech that worked on the laptop mentioned to me he noticed the corner was cracked so the damage happened while the laptop was in their possession but the owner refuses to take responsibility for the damage. I wasn't going to write this until the owner himself started cussing at me and refused to give me a print out of whatever diagnostic was done to my phone I walked into the store on a Monday and asked to get an estimate about my broken phone the guy I spoke with said yes we can fix it usually the same day, so I said I will be back. on that Wednesday morning I took my phone in and the guy who was taking my phone told me that a diagnostic had to be done before they started and charged me $60 and told me it should be done by the end of the day. The next day I got a phone call and they told me it would cost $260 and not $130 like the first guy told me but I need my phone so went with it and he told me it should be ready at the end of the day but to no surprise they did not call me. So I called Friday around lunch time and was told that they were waiting on a part and should be ready by the end of the day. Still no call. I waited until Tuesday to call and the guy I talked to was telling me they were waiting on the part and started talking to someone else. It sounded like he was scrambling around to find something and then said we have all the parts and we'll get it started today and guess what else he said it should be ready by the end of the day. Now it's 1 week later since I dropped my phone off and still no device so I called. The guy who ans said they have been swamped and didn't get to it but the will today and it will be ready in a couple of hours. Two hours later I get a text that the phone is unrepairable so I called them. The guy I spoke to was telling me that the phone cannot be repaired and to come get it. I started asking about the diagnostic that they ran and asked that shouldn't have they known it wasn't able to be repaired after the "diagnostic" was done and he keep making excuses about the process and how many checks they have to run and how they attempted to repair it but with no success. I started to get upset and because when I would start to ask more questions about it he would talk over me so I started talking over him and asked for my money back for that diagnostic because no work was done. Being that I started talking over him like he was doing to me he called me a jerk and hung the phone up. Now I get to the place to pick up my device and didn't say anything and got me device and left. Later when I looked back at it the SIM card tray was missing. I'm thinking seriously, so I called and told them about it and the guy told me to come back and if we have one laying around we'll give to you. Now this was an item they lost so they are responsible. So I get there and asked for the tray and the owner gave me a random one he found on the counter. I then asked for a detailed print out of the diagnostic and he told me we don't do that and if I want that it would just be a written piece of paper I then said that was unacceptable. Then he told me that if I want something typed up it will be next week and to give him my email. I said I wasn't going to do that because I am here then he started to cuss at me and started saying I was harassing him and his employees because of the phone call from earlier all while he was cussing at me while the was a young child in the lobby not 10 feet away from him and he told me to get the hell out of his store. I left but while I left I told the dad of the child to watch out because they might screw him over too. Needless to say this was definitely a problem that could be avoided if they would have simply just more professional with updates and documentation. I thought that this place would do good work I have bought an iPad from the and sold them to phones in the past so I was a loyal customer but that doesn't mean anything to Allen. read more

Allen's customer service skills are more like you dread experiencing at the MVD than you should experience at a retail business that wants you as a return customer. I do not recommend this phone repair to anyone due to ALLEIN DAVIS. He repaired my screen but he broke or traded out my stylus PIN that belonged to my phone. I went back to ask for my pin back or to replace the one he broke while repairing and he called the cops on me. He lied to them the whole time...smh. He was yelling telling me to hit him and that there were cameras up and to hit him. I told him all I want is my stylus PIN back after all his FALSE ADVERTISING. He was on dispatch telling the lady I was crazy lol but yet he's the one telling me to hit him...smh. Who the fuck does that? He's an old man that likes to lie and is greedy for money. He plays innocent probably because he's an old man...smh. Maybe senile is around the corner for him. Oh and he told the police to tell me to buy another stylus PIN for $2. Like, where the fuck does anyone buy a stylus PIN for $2 or a glass screen protector for $2??? Again LIES, LIES, LIES. He was scared that I was staring at him while he was on the phone with dispatch. She had to say mam please stop staring at him . All this would have been provented if he just gave me my stylus PIN back and stopped lying. Also all this happened in front of my 7 year old. Allen is a con artist. He uses very cheap screens for replacement. And when fixing my iPhone XR on 3/6/2020 he damaged my proximity sensor in my front camera. I contacted him within 15 minutes of getting home after realizing that my face ID on my camera no longer worked. He assured me that he would take care of me and get it fixed no matter the cost. He has met up with me two times since then to "clean" the part as if that was the problem. But the proximity sensor on an iPhone is unrepairable. The real problem is he rushes through repairs and breaks valuable pieces to then assume no responsibility. I had mentioned that the proximity sensor is unrepairable to him multiple times and he even mentioned getting me a new phone to make things right. Well, today is 3/30/2020 and after countless times of trying to contact him, he has informed me that he will not be getting me a new phone and will only refund $50 of the original $130 repair. Even though I asked him kindly to refund me and let me use my insurance to get a new phone but he is not willing to do that. If I could give you any advice, I would spend the extra money ($50-$70) and go to the Apple store or Best Buy and get the repair done right. You will not regret the extra money spent instead of having to deal with a dude that will consistently push you off and try to get quick cash. He does not have a written warranty and even if he says he will give you a receipt and his "word" it is not worth anything. In closing go look at other one-star reviews. As I am not the only person that he has done this too. Even though there are a ton of great reviews I would hate for you to be the exception such as I am today. read more

Do not get yoAllur iPhone repair at this place. They replaced my iPhone screen with a noticeably Different screen. My phone locks up or freezes every couple minutes I have to restart it. I cannot type on the keyboard because the sensors are un calibrated and cheap. now I have to pay Apple $400 to replace it, which I should've done in the first place. This place is a scam and they are the cheapest in Albuquerque for a reason. Their garbage materials and service need to be closed up. I can't believe this is actually what they charge $120 for. So I went in today to have my ps5 cleaned and had me pay before they worked on it, and I was thinking oh I thought it would be after but I paid anyway. So it's been about 4-5 hours and I call them to see how it was going because I drove 2 hours there to have them fix it and was leaving soon. I wouldn't have time for a few days to go back, they tell me they haven't started working on it yet but I'm next. So it's been about another hour or 2 and I'm leaving so I call them and they say oh we still haven't started it yet. So I'm like I'll just come back to pick it up since I won't have time to get it for a few days due to work. So I get there and get my ps and ask for the refund, the guy called the boss to ask him about my refund and the boss told him I don't get a full refund even though they did no work on it they told me, so I don't get why I don't get my full refund but I only get half?? So he gave me a card to call the other store to talk to the boss but they told me he just left. The guy told me that the boss was supposed to tell them I paid before they did work so that it would be a first priority. But he never told them so they didn't know I paid.
