DO NOT GO HERE. You will get scammed! We will be filing a consumer protection complaint with the NM Attorney General. They replaced my screen on July 4th but the under-display fingerprint sensor no longer worked. I took it back a week later, was told they'd order a new part and replace the screen, AGAIN, and call me when it came in. I waited 3 weeks, called 3 times, no response. Returned to the store August 1st for a refund but they refused for the following reasons: 1: They claimed they couldn't calibrate the sensor because they aren't allowed to touch customer fingerprints. (The Google calibration tool uses a rubber piece, not a finger) #2: They openly admitted they install cheap aftermarket screens that "don't like to calibrate." #3: They claimed the screen and fingerprint sensor are separate issues. On a Pixel 7, the sensor is built directly into the screen assembly. #4: They told me it was my job as the customer to do the hardware calibration myself. They install cheap, incompatible parts, ignore your attempts to contact them, expect the customer to accept a new screen with non-working biometrics, and refuse to refund. TLDR; When you don't uphold your warranty, you get reported to the Better Business Bureau. I dropped my phone off at Cell Masters on August 5th to have my Google Pixel 5 screen repaired. They told me it would be an easy fix for $139.99 and a six-hour wait. That's awesome, and I am excited to pick it up later that day. I get a call six hours later with some bad news: "We need to order some parts. Please give us one week." This is also fine. I appreciate the communication. Although one week turned into two weeks, then three, and at a certain point, I was the one having to reach out at the end of every day to get any update, only to be sent to voicemail. At the three-week mark, I was already upset with the lack of communication and failure to fix my phone promptly. Luckily, on August 28th, I was notified that my Google Pixel 5 was fixed and ready for pick-up. I went into the store on August 29th, very happy, and would have left a fine review...until the same issue I initially had with my phone occurred again on August 30th, with an added rattle whenever I shake the phone or use the camera. Right, so I paid $139.99 and waited over three weeks for these guys to not fix my phone, but also give it a fun lil rattle. Awesome. Well, I do what angry customers do best: Be angry, leave a bad review, and ask for a refund--on September 2nd, the day after Labor Day Weekend (because everyone deserves to be off on Labor Day Weekend). Well, of course, you guessed it, I was not offered a refund. I was offered a re-fixing of the device, which was later denied over the phone, as I was told, "We don't want to work on your phone anymore, so you should just pick it up." Cell Masters! The gift that keeps on giving! When I revisited the store later that day, I fought for my refund as their warranty policy wasn't being upheld: If you can't fix the phone, then pay the money back. But I wasn't offered anything; rather, I was cussed out, told I'd be sued for 1 million dollars for sitting on the store furniture, and that I was a racist a**hole for leaving a bad review. Bro. You did a bad job. You suck at your job. Read your reviews. Don't put this on me. My dissatisfaction is indiscriminatory. In fact, I liked your little shop with the fun statues and Godfather being played 24/7. You're just bad for business. My husband dropped his iPhone 6 Plus. So I went on Yelp to search for a place I could repair it....after calling Apple and being told it would cost $169 to repair the glass and they would also have to keep the phone for a while. I called The Cell Masters and Zaid answered. I told him the problem and he said to come right over and he will get it repaired within 5 to 10 minutes. We went right over and Zaid was very welcoming and and took care of the problem within 10 minutes as promised. Zaid went above and beyond!! We can tell he feels the customer comes first and wants to see happy customers. Extremely accommodating! They have a full line of product there too. TL;DR summary: 1) Battery replacement took hours 2) Battery lasted 3 weeks 3) Refund of my money took a week or two and contesting my credit card payment 4) I found out after the fact that they took parts out of my phone during the repair & didn't replace them (another review on here had the same problem) AVOID I was lured in by the low prices & good reviews but based on my experience I'd avoid this place. I brought my iPhone in for a battery replacement. It took over 2 hours, much longer than the estimated 15-30 minutes, and it was clear the guy was having issues with it. After the first attempt he gave me the phone but it wouldn't turn on so he had to take it back and work on it some more, and kept saying "almost done, almost done" for about an hour. Finally the repair was done and phone turned on. He opened the Battery menu in Settings to show me the battery health, which said "Service Battery." He told me that should update soon, but I should've known better (it never changed). Then their credit card system was down, but he let me pay by paypal. He did give me ~$5 off the price since it took so long. The battery completely stopped working after 3 weeks. Luckily, within the 30 day warranty he promised me when I paid for the repair. I live a couple of hours away so I called and let him know. Since I wasn't really able to bring the phone in, I asked for a refund by Paypal which he promised he would send & I gave him my paypal info. After about a week of no refund I sent a request for the money. Still no response, so I initiated a Paypal dispute and finally ~3 weeks out I received the refund. The kicker: I took my phone to another shop for a battery replacement which was done in 30 minutes with no issues. However, the discovered during the repair that some screws and plates were missing. The phone had only ever been opened for the battery replacement by Cell Masters, so clearly they took (stole) these parts and did not replace them. According to this second shop my iPhone is now much less water resistant due to this. NOTE: Another reviewer on Yelp also says parts were taken out of his iPhone, so this isn't an isolated issue. Crappy battery, slow refund, & parts stolen from my phone. This place is not worth the low prices. read more

Dude who works there is a nice guy, but kind of shady. For instance, we replaced an old cell phone whose screen had died. He ordered a new cell phone, took the screen off that and put it on my phone. But, he neglected to give me a receipt, stole the charging cable and earphones etc. As I was looking around the store I see that he actually has little bundles of USB chargers and earphones for SALE. You know, the same ones he steals out of the customer's boxes! Nuts! But, as I said, he's pretty chill and to his credit, the phone he repaired works perfectly fine read more

This place are thieves! I took my screen in to be fixed just my screen! Got my phone back with so many problems it didn't have before. They stole my apple batter and put some generic battery in. My phone notifies my right away saying it can't verify my battery anymore. They also broke my Face ID. said they had no idea how it happen and they would fix it. Been waiting for months still haven't fixed it. Sill have got a refund. They will steal your parts! They broke my apple seal! These guys are great! I brought my iphone 7 in and waited for the screen to be replaced. They were the cheapest in town without a Groupon or other deal. They use Apple OEM screens not after market cheap ones. They quality checked my screen before giving it to me and quickly redid a new screen for me. I had to wait a little while but they explained why and still had it done in about 30 minutes. If you need your screen replaced take it to The Cell Masters! read more

They changed out the battery of my iPhone 5S in about 10 minutes while I waited for $40 + tax, compared to $79 + tax at the Apple Store. The battery they put in is apparently the same one that Apple use, and they returned the old battery for me, and then accepted it back for recycling. The new battery was already charged, so I was immediately able to use the iPhone normally.They took the phone out of its case for me, and then put it in back into its case afterwards.They were pleasant and polite and friendly. They even have comfy sofas by in the front area of the store for you to wait upon. The store looks clean & tidy, and well organized.They e-mailed the receipt to me, and their work is covered by a 90 day warranty. I was delighted, and I strongly recommend this store for competence, good value, and excellent customer service. read more

I ended up here by accident, because they were close by and open until 7pm, but now I'm glad I found a great place to take my iphone. I came in 45 mins before the shop closed but the owner offered to fix my phone within the hour anyway. I came back a little later (and waited inside) while he helped a few other people. I heard him in speaking to them and he was friendly and accommodating. Even though he was super busy and almost closed, he didn't treat the customers like he was in a rush to get them out. Since I ended up waiting a little longer, he put a glass screen protector on my phone for free! I also bought a pair of headphones and a charging cable for a super good price.
