I had a bad (2-star) experience at the OTHER uBreakIfix store in Albuquerque 2 months ago, but since there are the only authorized repair options in my ENTIRE state, I thought I would try again to get the screen fixed on my Samsung Z-flip 6. The only difference this time: I went through the Samsung website to make my appointment. I still followed up with phone calls to ensure the necessary parts would be available on the day of my appointment, since I live 180-miles away from this store. Despite making a late morning appointment, the representative at the store suggested I try to arrive right after the store opens to ensure that I would be ahead of any walk-ins for repairs that day. Repairs were made on time, and I appreciated their professionalism and thoroughness. Took my 4 yr old Lenovo to them. They said due to "excessive use" the battery is low. If you use your computer for 1-2 hours a day, is that really excessive? Also said there was some corrosion due to being exposed to liquid. That never happened. Also said the pins on the motherboard were damaged due to being dropped. Also never happened. I took my galaxy z flip 5 here on 02/27/24 to fix the screen. I had dots and a white line on the screen. It took about an hour and 40 mins and the guy brought my phone and said "I have a bad news." my phone was completely DEAD. They said the motherboard has short so the phone died and I need to call Samsung and they might replace it for me. I visited this store last Saturday and today and the guy said my data and pictures will be safe both times but NO! I lost all of my children's pictures and videos of last several years and this breaks my heart and it is the worst. I'm sending my phone to Samsung and they reminded me to "back up" my data before sending. This is what you should have told me as you said the incident my phone had happens "sometimes". These guys are excellent! They are fast, courteous, professional and accurate. Which is everything that you need to know. Paul did such a great job. After trying to get my iphone screens (both) fixed by apple and geeksquad, I was told there can only be one issue with my iphone and I will have to replace my whole phone. So I gave ubreakifix a shot and there were a few prior issues with my phone before the broken screen. Paul got me set up and was very professional. It took about an hour and he had my phone ready. The prior issue with a quiet in call speaker was fixed alongside my screen. Although the screen maybe a tiny bit smaller, it works great and was done well. I recommend these guys. My phone was given to me years ago by my veteran boyfriend who passed away about two weeks prior. So my phone has a lot of sentimental value and apple and geeksquad were unwilling to fix it for me. I struggled with the idea of posting this review, but the experience was poor enough for me to warn people. My son broke the charging port to his switch, and after a little online research, we found UBreakiFix as an option for repair. I booked an appointment online, and described the problem as the website directed. When we arrived, I was greeted at the door by an employee who claimed they didn't repair Nintendo Switches at that location, and told me to have a great day. I felt misled by the website, and received little customer service at the location. I would recommend to not rely on the website, and to call ahead for any problems you may have. read more

If you utilize cell insurance (Assurion), you can save time by filing online or via phone prior to arrival. Also, make sure to check which location insurance sends you to, you have to get your repair done at that exact facility. read more

Took my phone in to get the battery replaced and they lied and said they replaced it when all they did was plug it into a charger. The phone had not restarted for 4 days according to the settings - how do you change a battery without the power being turned off on the phone?! When confronted the tech lied again and said he changed it. This is very unethical and unprofessional. read more

Opening it myself, I found that the camera had been shorted. A simple check could have resolved this. read more

I made an appointment and planned my whole day around their appointment. It asked on the website what it was and what generation it was. I answered all the questions. I got to my appointment-- after canceling other plans--- and they told me they don't fix IPADs at that location and I could make appointment and go to another location at another time. I placed a insurance claim with this location. My husband and I dropped his phone off, his screen only had picture on half the phone. When dropping his phone off we were told it would take 2 hours to fix it. When picking up the phone I was given the phone with explanation we fixed the screen its good to go. While unfortunately that is not what happened! When arriving to our house my husband said the whole back of the phone is shattered. I called the store and told them about our phone they said it is under warranty for a year and they would fix it. My husband took the phone in and was told that they knew that they broke it and did NOT have the park to fix it but ordered it. HMMM why was this not explained to me when I picked up the phone!!! Decided lets just make an appointment to fix it. I call the store again and was told I needed an appointment because only 1 back glass for the phone was in stock. Went for my scheduled appointment to be told the shipment is still not in. I had it at this point I called and asked for a manager and got the worst customer service I have ever received no apology for breaking my husbands phone no apology for not telling us and a pathetic you can make another appointment and bring it in at this point I don't want you to touch our phone. I was having issues with my iPhone 8 shutting off and restarting on it's own. Since I use it for access to my work network, I was afraid to lose functionality. So, went to the store on 528. Spoke to a person at the store out of their front door. Explained my concerns and was told that it was most likely a mother board issue and recommended getting a new phone. He never looked at my phone or tried to do any trouble shooting. Went to another business, and the issue was resolved. They looked at my phone, did some trouble shooting and were able to identify the issue. Cost my $10 for a new screen cover which was cracked. read more
