Prompt, professional, courteous service at a very reasonable price…read more Chad quickly identified the source of my laptop's problem and corrected it. In addition, he did other diagnostics to confirm my machine is virus-free and suggested a free malware checker, along with some other recommendations to keep me humming along. I work from home and my computer is essential to that, so having the issue resolved efficiently was paramount. Chad's mobile service kept my downtime to a minimum, and even though it took just half an hour, I still consider his fee a good value for his work. Highly recommended!

Paid $135.00 to have Chad - the owner of the business get rid of malware on my PC. I told him I…read morethought I was being targeted. I think he just ran Malwarebytes on it, which anyone can do - and reinstalled the system (which I'd already done). After I continued having problems I contacted him and told him I found out my PC not only had a known vulnerability that required flashing the Bios, but that when he returned it the "Secure Logon" was switched OFF. He'd also left a Wi-Fi "known network" on my PC that I verified was his. I told him I switched "secure logon" back on, to which he responded with a "thumbs-up." Problems have continued and increased. I believe it's a rootkit based on the vulnerability and history, and asked Chad to make it right - to which I received absolutely no response. I'm being stone-walled. So I paid $135.00 for nothing but more headaches and days on end of trying to solve the problem myself. He hasn't shown any sign of backing up his work, and returning a laptop with "Secure Logon" turned off, showed a lack of professionalism in yet another manner.

My 7-year-old MacBook now runs like new after he replaced the hard drive, gratefully saving all my files from a crash. And he finished it in three hours! The place is a bit scary to walk into; it looks like a technological graveyard, with antique machines sitting silent and dark, hardware entrails scattered about. But it's telling to me to see the long-dead zombies waking from their years of defunctitude, with their goliath towers and ancient green screens impossibly blinking back to life. This guy is a wizard I think.

PC Place 2 came to the rescue when I lost access to all the data files (approx. 750GB) on my home…read moredesktop computer, as well as the external backup drive. I needed to install a larger internal drive, but when I attempted to copy everything to transfer to the new drive, the process hung up at the end, and all the paths to locate the files on the original drive were wiped out. The unsuccessful copy was useless, and my attempts to restore the paths using third-party software failed. OK, so it was time to try restoring the most recent backup from an external drive, but that failed as well. Fearing the worst, I took everything to PC Place, where Charles was confident that the files could be recovered one way or another. He explained clearly what steps he recommended and what my options might be. After analyzing the situation, recovering everything from the backup seemed most promising. It took several days to accomplish it all, including installing new internal drives, preparing a new external backup drive, and performing a general tune-up of the system. After a nail-biter of a week, ALL my data files were restored exactly as they had been - whew!! Charles also provided recommendations for maintaining the system in the future. The charge for their services seemed reasonable, and it was worth every penny!
