The first time was for my HPcomputer that I could no longer log into. He fixed the hard drive and added some extra memory in less than a few days. He did all this for about $150. Mr. Raikes is extremely nice, fast, and his prices are as qouted. There are no surprises or hidden fees. His labor fee is a very fair $69 and he is great at updating you when your computer will be ready. This time I brought him my wife's HP laptop with a broken screen; and mine, which I was unable to login to again. Since he had already fixed mine about six months before, he honored the warranty and fixed it at no charge. I was so happy he did this. He also ordered and installed a brand new screen for my wife's laptop in under a week. The total price for her computer was $127! Not bad for a brand new screen and still cheaper than a new computer. I will tell all my friends and co-workers to take their broken computers to Darn Computer and Mr. Raikes. I highly recommend him to everyone at Yelp if you want great service at a low price. I know where I will be going if I have any future computer issues. Mr. Raikes has earned my business for life.

I contacted Josh for help when my new motherboard would not work when installed. He found it was…read morefaulty and put in a different one. But he also installed an 8 year old graphics card into my computer without my explicit consent (only telling me after he had installed it) and charged me $150 for it when there was no way it was worth above $50. I asked him if he could take it back and I could have a refund so I could get a graphics card that was actually worth my money and he agreed, and said I could use the graphics card until I got a new one. After I installed the new one myself I reached out to him and he said I could get my refund, but then never contacted me to actually come by and give me my money back. He proceeded to ignore me for 3 months, barley answering me and flat out refusing my calls towards the end. Finally after many attempts of getting him to respond he came by my house and took the card, and only gave me $100 back. I said that he owed me more and he said he doesn't work for free. I told him that he was paid for his labor, he charged me $180 for his services, which I paid with no issues. Then he said fine actually its a restocking fee. I told him this was totally unfair as he was clearly not doing as he agreed and he said that I should "quit my bitching" and "you young people are so entitled." He then got mad at me for it being a months old job to which I reminded him that he was the one who said this was ok to this and that he had ignored me for months. He also never stated that there would be any fees for returning the graphics card in the first place, which I have proof of. He then drove away and has not spoken to me since. TLDR: Josh charged me for old equipment and when I asked for a refund he said yes but then ignored me for months and didn't give me all of my money. Absolutely no way to treat another person.
