I looked around and after being in CA where there is literally a "computer consultant" in every neighborhood I was worried when I saw that other than the Best Buy geek squad (no dis to them they in ABQ do a good job), there were very few options I would have even considered. Thank goodness for Jason. He offered a lot of info pre visit which was very nice. His quick thinking and my OCD sometimes had me confusing him I think but he stuck with it. What did he do for us? Upgraded a new computer to a smoking fast new computer, "managed" my husbands super old "all in one", and BEST got into our old Spectrum/charter/time warner/Adelphia account from CA that the complete idiots there shut down in error w no notice. So we were able to recover docs related to our home sale. And whatever else IRS docs needed We will be using him again. Is he the cheapest no, do you get the most production aka bang for your buck yes 110% read more

Jason no longer does phone repair, but he still took the time to give me troubleshooting tips and recommendations for apps that might help with my problem. Very friendly guy! read more

I am very happy I called this company. Jason was so incredibly helpful. All questions/problems were worked out in a clear and quick way. I was not made to feel that my question were foolish or ignorant (although they likely were!) I feel confident that my computer is now running effectively. So grateful for the help! read more

10/10 Recommend! I had an amazing experience with Nerds Limited after a cyberattack happened at work. They assisted me in understanding how my devices could be affected by malware and explained everything in depth in a way that was easy for me to understand. They patiently answered all of my questions and gave me great advice on how to protect my devices moving forward. Their expertise and clear communication made a potentially stressful situation so much easier to handle. I would highly recommend their services to anyone in need of tech support. read more

If Yelp had a rating of 10 I'd give it to Jason and Nerds Unlimited. I have just spent WEEKS bouncing back and forth between Apple and Xfinity, trying to get my new Mac to connect to the internet. After going through any number of phone calls, texts with tech supports, etc., all they could say was it must be my equipment and Xfinity is sending me a new modem. (My 'old' modem is an Arris S33, all of 6 months old.) I finally listened to my wife and after some research called Nerds Unlimited, and in 20 minutes Jason fixed everything. If you are having any sort of computer/tech issues I cannot encourage you enough to give him a call! read more

I called to ask about repairing a MacBook a different computer repair place had tried to fix but had actually completely broke and he was so honest and straightforward and let me know it wouldn't be cost effective to repair. He gave me advice going forward with future computers and could not have been nicer. I highly recommend calling with any computer repair or security needs!! read more

I called about a Mac with no prior information about Nerds Unlimited because the website was more intelligent than others, the reviews were not only favorable but glowing, and because the offered no-charge phone consultations. Jason spent a surprising amount of (free to me) time not only on preliminary troubleshooting but on explaining basics to a technology-challenged caller. He obviously knows his material and even pointed out a "hidden" Apple recall that I found later was unknown to Apple tech support staff. read more

Professional and knowledgeable with high initiative. He knows his stuff. He spent a lot of time trying to help us repair my wife's Mac laptop over the phone at no charge. When our attempts didn't work, he came to fix it. He knows both hardware and software. He genuinely enjoys getting things fixed to perfection and doesn't want to see good hardware thrown in the landfill. read more

Nerds Limited is an outstanding Computer repair and design company! Jason's brilliant, bordering on genius mind is unparalleled. We have never before experienced his level of expertise, honesty, and competency. Jason saved us so much money with a hard drive upgrade, rather than the cost of a new computer, and he did it at lightening-speed. The bonus, we learned so much from him during his visit and are thrilled to have found him. Don't waste your time and money looking around, this guy is IT! read more

I called this company and they left a message. Got my return call a couple of days later. I didn't receive a sigh because of my lack of computer slang but he listened care to my somewhat long story. I got a referral to a reputable storefront computer firm because the owner of Nerds explained that it would cost more than the computer was worth to come into my home to repair. So I was really satisfied as to how the owner treated me and how he was patient with my faltering complaints. read more

Jason is extremely knowledgeable and responsive. He is also intelligent and honest which is hard to find these days. I always feel confident in getting his advice. read more

I called Jason after running into a dead end trying to a DIY upgrade on my iMac. He corrected several reliability and speed issues, and after his work the machine is way faster than before. He showed an unusual depth of knowledge regarding my particular model, as well as Mac operating systems and hardware in general. He explained what he was doing as he went along, and shared several time-saving tips that I would never have figured out on my own. Having all the work done here at my home was also a big plus. read more

Jason is extremely responsive, very knowledgeable and willing to teach you how to do stuff for future reference. He goes way beyond simple computer issues and has the expert knowledge I needed to get my old home Ethernet wiring up and running again. So glad I called him. I'll be a return Customer. read more

A computer technician who makes house calls is reason enough to cheer, but a guy who comes at 9 pm (after finishing with his "last client of the day") and spends an hour reviving my dead computer is someone to cherish! Jason of Nerds Limited was pleasant, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. He fixed the problem right away (I'm embarrassed to say, it was dust clogging up the processor interior) and gave my husband and me a clearly explained mini-lesson on hardware management as he worked. I would recommend Jason to anyone, and we will definitely call him again. read more

Nerds Limited was recommended to me by a colleague who had great success, and I'm happy to say I'm glad I decided to call them up when my hard drive decided to fry its own face off. Jason was really flexible and picked up my computer from my home to work on while I was out busy running the crazy life I do. He replaced my HD with a new SSD and was very savvy in answering all the computer questions I had. Didn't charge for any time spent chatting on the phone. He will also work on your computer right in front of you to increase your overall comfort level with his services. He is quite technical, but don't hesitate to ask him to dumb it down for you. Highly recommend! read more

My old computer was having trouble connecting to some of the newer WiFi access points, and I wasn't sure what was going on. Called Jason to see if he could help, expecting either an expensive solution or some incomprehensible technical jargon or both. What I got was the BEST service I could imagine, from a real expert who knows computers through and through. A quick diagnosis, a simple yet detailed, clear and easy to follow explanation of the problem, and a fast upgrade in the form of an inexpensive little device that Jason found for me online, on the spot, while we were still on the phone. There was no charge for the good advice and helpful suggestions. Is that good customer service or what?? Oh, did I mention how nice, polite and friendly he was? HIGHLY recommended! read more

Finding someone who is not only technically adept but can also communicate is not always easy. Jason has an impressive skill set that includes technical know how as well as a creative mind and approach. His excellent communication skills (and ability to gear it to the level you need), is a major bonus. Having spent some time learning my new Mac (after working with only PC's for many years), I had reached a plateau. Apple's workshops are OK for what they are but I learned more in 2+ hours with Nerds Limited than I'd have learned at a 1/2 dozen workshops. If you like efficiency, you'll be pleased. read more

Jason was extremely helpful when I spilled water on my MacBook Pro, including giving thoughtful and thorough advice immediately after it happened, and worked with me throughout the process to work to save my tech. Thanks, Jason! read more

After spending significant time on the phone with Jason prior to spending a penny, or even making an appointment he helped me resolve some minor issues, so I made an appointment. We are a household of dated laptops, both Mac and PC, with the users being tech dinosaurs, but Jason was able to get our home network running smoothly and faster than a tot on a tricycle, our previous speed. His patience and communication skills make seemingly difficult tasks surmountable. He has helped us become better users of all our tech tools and toys. Great service, great value. read more

Jason was extremely helpful in providing directions on how to find and purchase the necessary hardware prior to the service call. At the service call, he was efficient and thorough; additionally, he shared his knowledge of what he was doing and how I might care for my Mac. read more

Thought I was in big trouble when my computer was crashing on me. So glad I found this guy on Yelp with good reviews. Gave him a call, told him my condition and told me how to fix it over the phone, free of charge! I did exactly what he said to do and so far no problems. Whenever I have another problem, definitely calling this dude up. He's legit. read more

Jason from Nerds Limited provided excellent service when I recently built my own PC and needed some help maximizing its potential. I didn't have to take my rig anywhere; Jason came to my house which was quite convenient. He answered all of my questions patiently and provided detailed explanations of the things that he was working on. Overall, he was professional and courteous. He even provided a follow-up email detailing many points of the service. I am starkly satisfied. I would not hesitate to employ the services of Nerds Limited once more. read more

I called Jason at Nerds Limited and had the most positive experience ever with setting up my new laptop and transferring all the data from the old one. I usually drop off my new device at a computer service shop and pick it up 24- 48 hours later, having no clue what the shop/ technician did or didn't do. This time, Jason came to my home, removed all the unnecessary apps and other garbage that is built into new computers these days. He explained what apps I needed for my particular situation and instructed me to send back the Vipre virus protection device I had purchased for a refund, saving me a quick hundred bucks. He was patient and was able to explain, in simple terms that I could understand, how my computer works and how I could get the most benefit from it. I will be utilizing Jason's services and referring him to all my friends and business associates whenever a "computer wizard" is needed! Thanks Jason! You're the best! read more
