I have probably eaten here about 20-25 times, mostly takeout, and they are extremely good and consistent. As broke as it looks on the inside, the staff is pretty nice once you get to know them. Of course they have their mistakes but everything is usually on point. Normally I would give this place 4 stars but since I generally consider burgers, fries, milkshake, and wings stoner foods I rarely break the stereotype. For stoner food, this is definitely a 5 star. I love US Cafe, with their most recent renovations makes the place more enjoyable. Their food is absolutely delicious. Food takes awhile to make but it doesn't bother me. I love coming late when it's dark and there aren't any kids and play pool, they also have outside seating which is nice, arcade in the inside with about 4 games , 2 pool tables Would recommend if you want somewhere to hang out with a group of people or take someone on a date. read more

Wings were plump and cooked to our level of crispiness - just the right amount of sauce, although a bit on the pricey side. Previous meals here included burgers and quesadillas, also excellent. Why only three stars? The french fries, for one. Natural cut they are. Good, they are not. How a serving of fries can include over done, underdone, limp, greasy and dry is beyond me. Life is too short to eat bad fries, so skip these. Also on the down side is the limited seating, no table service, and ketchup from large pump dispensers with nasty crusty nozzles. Went to 3 stars due to the remodeling ONLY. Today the fries were room temp and my order was wrong. I ordered a hamburger specifically with no mustard. I detest mustard. It came out with mustard. OK no big deal, people make mistakes. But what was bad was when the counter person told me I had to wait for everyone in line to be served theirs. In the meantime my friend finished her lunch, we had appointments and our lunch was delayed due to their mistake and because of that mistake I was thrown to the back of the hamburger line. I mean what's up with that? It was their fault. Now I'm being punished? Totally unprofessional. My friend placed a wing order to go. They served it as an eat in order and that order took forever to come out. And that too was wrong. We wanted lemon pepper wings. Came home to plain fried. Geeze people. The food is good. I love their turkey burger and cheese quesadilla. However I have ordered their philly and it wasn't quite right . They didn't have green peppers one day and instead of notifying me they just gave me the philly without the peppers . Had I known that their wasn't any green peppers I would have ordered something different . I recommend this place but do not order their fries especially for take out . Whenever I order take out fries they are cold and lack flavor . Wendy's fries for a dollar taste much better . So this is not the place for fries . The original location, and in my opinion the best. This eatery has been a staple in the Smyrna area for decades now, and has grown from a hole in the wall to a nicely renovated, established part of the community. The interior has changed some, but what hasn't changed is the quality or consistency of the food. The burgers are some of the best anywhere, period. The offer a big one and a small one. Fresh toppings adorn each, should you choose to have them. I also really like their hot dogs and onion rings. Their counters are manned by some really friendly folks, too. Great place to go before/after a game, to play pool, or just watch sports on the tvs. They also have beer. Open pretty late too, esp on weekends, after most places close. I don't know what happened with the old management/owners. Maybe they wanted to sell and just get out. But whereas the new management has spruced up the place and made it all shiny and good looking, the service has plummeted. It takes twice as long to get your food and everything just seems so freaking slow. Not to mention I witnessed an employee quit and in her conversation with the manager, threaten to report the restaurant to the department of health because she witnessed how they store their chicken at unsafe temperatures. Anyway, I miss the old management. I used to love going to US Café. Today will definitely be my last time. I keep trying to give them a chance, and they keep failing. I took a chance and went to this location despite what I read because I didn't want to drive all the way to Spring Rd....BIG MISTAKE! should have drove to Spring Rd heck the Buckhead location would have suited me just fine as well. The wings were so dry it was horrible. I will stick to the rivers and lakes that I am use to and just go to Spring Rd or the Buckhead location were its always fresh and juicy. Will never return. The staff are woefully uninformed, as to how to deliver a satisfactory guest experience. 2 of us, & we ordered a burger and chili cheese fries - cheese fries came out in 2 minutes. Burger took 17. My companion had completed her entree by the time mine came out. Totally unacceptable and the staff had no sense of urgency, or even the foresight to ask if there was anything else they could do. Maybe this was all they were capable of doing. The food itself was subpar. Fries soggy and not hot. Burger was over cooked and dry. Very disappointed in this location. I've been going to this US cafe for years now and the service is not the same. The manager Shonda is very rude. After calling in my order, driving to pick it up and returning home I realized it was incorrect. I call to let them know and she was very rude and acted like it was my fault that they screwed up my order and even said I need to drive back to the restaurant. It's easily the best burger joint if you want homemade taste. Runs circle around Five Guys and Fuddruckers. I ordered a burger drink and salad. The staff were super friendly. The place was incredibly clean and this was a busy Saturday night. The staff kept coming to the dining area to check on us and ensure tables restrooms and floor were clean. This is my favorite local spot to grab a tasty burger during lunch. Turkey or beef...they know what they are doing at U S Cafe. The fries are also VERY tasty. Fresh, salty and just the right snap of CRISP! A small patio is available, but I normally just grab one of the booths inside. Plenty of TVs and even a pool table or two. It's a great burger find in Smyrna and worth the drive if you want to travel OTP for a non-national chain burger. There is also a smaller location on Spring Road that has fewer tables. I'd never been there before, and it wasn't all that appealing from the outside. He looked at me like I was crazy when I'd said I'd never eaten there before. He insisted we try a sampling of their best goodies in his opinion- burger, fries and wings. The burger, although rather thin packed a ton of flavor. The fries were nice and crispy - definitely could rival the fries at Five Guys.
