JR Crickets in Smyrna just isn't as good as I remember the brand being years ago, and for me, it doesn't quite compare to the original location. That said, the Lemon Pepper Wet wings are still a favorite. That combination of Buffalo and lemon pepper is what I come for, and when they're done right, they still hit the spot. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to dine here, but if I were hungry and meeting someone there, I'd absolutely grab an order to go. Not what it used to be, but the Lemon Pepper Wet wings are still worth ordering. read more

Decided to come back again and the wings were a normal size. Very delicious! I hope they continue maintain the same standard and reject the small batches cuz this is by far my new favorite wing spot read more

Food was good. It is what it is- wing place. Great sauces. Be careful and check your bill before paying. I didn't and got hit with a double gratuity. On the app is a service charge, but they don't tell you or mention that in advance. We were a party of 3- didn't expect that. Also they charge for everything- even water is $1. They don't tell you that either. So an Arnold Palmer was the cost of 2 drinks... Not sure I'll be back- I can customize wings somewhere else and get the same quality. read more

This has been my got spot for wings while in Atlanta for years. Started out a long time ago at the downtown location and now the Smyrna location is my new spot, different location but same great food. There are a multiple location around the city but they have never let me down. The wings are always hot and fresh and cooked just the way that I like them. I usually have some hot lemon peppers but any flavor that you choose will be great as I haven't gone wrong with anything I picked just wondering how this might taste. The staff is always super nice and friendly and make you feel right at home. The prices might be considered a little high but when you find good consistent food that you like I guess you can't complain. I've tried several locations, but the Smyrna location keeps me stopping in on my way home every time that I am in the city. Stop on by, you won't regret it. read more

Service was great. My friend lost her phone within the booth and the manager came over pretty quickly to help us retrieve it. We ordered the salmon Philly and the steak and cheese Philly. I liked that it came with a lot of fries but I've had better. It was packed with meat, peppers and onions. It could have been cheesier and the bread could've been a bit more toasted. It also lacked a bit of seasoning. They give you a great amount of whichever dressing you choose. Next time I come, I'll stick to my usual fried seafood platter. read more

I ordered wings & they had NO lemon pepper season on them at all. They were horrible!

Here you go--tight, punchy, Yelp-ready: Stopped by JR Crickets on South Cobb Drive and they did not miss. Called in my order with Trent, and even on Super Bowl Sunday he was calm, friendly, and fully staffed like a pro. I joked about requesting Amanda as my cook--he played right along. Wings and fries were ready in 15 minutes: hot, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. South Cobb flavor never disappoints. Excellent service, excellent food, even on the busiest day of the year. I'll definitely be back. Carla read more

As always, Kiara took excellent care of us. She is one of the reasons I come back. She makes it enjoyable. Food and vibe are great so!

Let me start, this was my first time at jr crickets and I won't hold the other locations accountable for this sorry ass location and bs ass owner and service workers. 1. I placed my order online and the lady that answered the phone and said my food was already picked up. (Lie 1) 2. We get there, we was told my order is ready to me and my wife. (Lie 2) 3. I asked can I get some kind of reimbursement for not having my order right, owe I can't you need to speak with the owner, if you are the manager and you can't make any decisions you are not respected! 4. The owner tells me, owe you placed the order online I can't give you any credit, we don't really do orders online. Wtf!!! 5. Last thing, if you are ugly on the outside do let all that ugliness come out from the inside. Don't hate me when you hate your job or life. No one told you to come there to work. I had high hopes, but let's be honest. Reviews don't lie!!! I only do reviews for very horrible service or very great service!!! When you look at the reviews, numbers don't lie!!! I support black businesses but this place don't get it. If you are already stealing from black folks, you will get robbed one day the same way you rob your customers. read more

I will be honest. my life has been a lie, I thought I knew what good food was and I'm Hispanic and Italian. I was far from wrong. my buddy brought me here since I'm a wing connoisseur and I had a ratattoulle moment. the wings (south Cobb way) and shrimp combo with sweet potota fries iw the way. I'm not much for sweets but the cookies should be illegal for how addicting ha. I am a forever fan and bring tennis friends here. read more

KITCHEN STAFF IS TRASH!!!! Get rid of that sorry joker he must be a relative of owner or something. When server corrects him about an order he always looking crazy like he shocked or something. Online orders JUST CANT GET RIGHT smh. Order was suppose to be ready at 12:40am I'm still waiting. Online orders are NEVER ready when promised. This like the 3rd or 4th time & it's always an excuse. This location has gone down. First saw it when I saw those new fries. It smells like Fabuloso in here real bad. It's so strong I'm probably gonna smell like when I leave. It's 1249 & I'm still waiting on my food. Couple weeks ago I brought my family of 4 here for late dinner after a flight & had to pay at the counter because hand held devices were broken. Drinks come in bottle vs fountain drinks in just over this location. I should have driven downtown. Going forward I will go there or Terrell Mill cause Cobb pkwy location is trash. 12:55 still waiting on an online order promised at 1240. I walk to counter at 1pm the rotten mouth bucket with the braids asks me if I have online order or placing ones I said you just asked me that I'm picking up for 1240. This bucket gone say well ion remember u you know how many people I see. I said well that's the problem your customer service. She slangs my order and says check it. She had an attitude & tells me orders take 10-15 min. I said I placed it online for 1240. Swore up and down it was not promised at 1240. I said I have a SCREENSHOT. Showed it to her & she got BIG MAD. Hoe I ain't lying yall just sorry as hell. read more

We came here my happenstance and had great service by Kiara. The food was excellent! Great wings, onion rings, tater tots. We'll be back!

It was a slow Sunday afternoon which made the visit more personable. The service was quick and pleasant and the food (shrimp, wings, turkey burger) was delicious! Although Pops didn't want recognition for his service, I must admit he was a great addition to the visit, very accommodating! Kiera took over services and was sweet and very helpful. Wow Kiara was the best server this past Sunday. Service was outstanding!!! She was so attentive!

I would give it a zero if I could 38.88 for 2 orders flavor less tiny chicken strips (only 4) and cold soggy fries with a tiny side of fried mushrooms less than 7 of them .. You can't make the price justified .., The cashier was a total cunt ... She demanded I put my change into the tip jar ..: which threw me off ... you don't ask let alone TELL people to put their money into the tip jar especially over paying for mediocre food ... Tipping is optional but they will make you feel they are obligated to your change no matter how much you get back " just go ahead and drop that in the tip jar" Even if they refunded my money or replaced my food which they didn't I would never go back . This place is over priced and nothing on the menu is worth getting even if everything was half priced . The employees suck and I wouldn't recommend anyone going here especially the one on Cobb parkway . read more

Decided to drop in and get some wings on a regular Monday night. The lemon pepper wings were actually good and so was the margarita I ordered. My server was great however they get three stars for the fact that they charge you 30% on whatever you order. There is an automatic 20% gratuity for the server in this case she was good so I didn't mind. However there was also a 10% service charge that no one could explain and the charges couldn't be removed. I found that to be outrageous and on principle I cannot support this. It feels like theft. There are plenty of places with good wings so I won't be back unless they change this policy. read more

We called ahead to order 10 Buffalo wings with fries & 10 lemon pepper wings with 3 bbq ribs & fries. They told us the order will be ready 10 mins. When we arrived & picked up the order, they got the flavor of the wings wrong. We let them know & they asked if we wanna get it fixed... that was already a dumb question. So we had to wait additional 15 mins to get it fixed. We ordered the BBQ sauce for the ribs on the side. When we finally got home, & opened the bag again, there wasn't any bbq sauce. I called to let them know & the girl on the phone sounded retarded & rude. She said "Oh you can come back & pick the bbq sauce up!" No apology or nothing. Who the hell wants to get in the car & go get the sauce after they just messed up our order for the 2nd time in 1 night?? The service there is a shame. Don't pay attention to detail at all. I don't know what the employees are doing there? Just having fun like they're not at work or what?? That's insane. read more

this place use to be my go-to spot but now they just hiked the prices up and got stingy. I tipped $7 on my to-go order and asked for a bbq sauce for dipping my fries in and they said no but I could buy one. Thats wild. Yall are money-hungry like that?! Just save your tip money for the additional charges since the customer service is non-existent. read more

Food was mid at best. Ok was willing to deal with that no biggie. I've never ate here before it was recommended by a local I said why not. Got there service was subpar not horrible but nothing to write home about. Ate paid never received a receipt. Called back to inquire about a total only to be told there's 20% gratuity added and it's on the menu. Now how do you expect me to see that in that very low lighting and it's supposedly around the restaurant as well. And this is not upscale dining and I was offered subpar service why am I being taxed 20% ???? And the server not once says oh gratuity is included when I asked how she wanted her tip she said cash. So she got the gratuity that's required plus a $10 tip that's well over the 20% required. Then because I wasn't offered a physical receipt only the handheld I had no way of knowing. I say all this to say find somewhere with better food and service because this ain't it. I should have went with my first mind and left when I was told they only had bottle soda. read more

I had the single order of lemon pepper wings with fries and blue cheese dressing and a Blue moon beer and a glass of orange juice for the beer. Hubby had the chicken finger basket with frues and a sweet tea! Parking was free. The waiter was great but I didnt like the auto gratuity, it was only 2 of us! We will come back but dang!
