Tres leche which has a maple taste which is odd bit not bad

Returned maybe 2 years after a a disappointing first experience to try to give it the benefit of the doubt and so glad we did. Maybe our first experience was a one off but the second was so much better. Stopped in quite randomly for margs. Both got house margs. Mine was rocks with passion fruit and my husband got a traditional frozen house margs. Both very good. He ended up ordering 3. For dinner I got three tacos (steak, shredded chicken but they can do grilled, and beef) and my husband got fajita nachos which were huge. Enough for two people. My tacos were very food. We also got a tree leche which had almost a maple flavor to it with was a little odd bit not bad. Staff were friendly. Patio was nice. It definitely was loud still even on the patio. Lots yelling form multiple tables which I don't get and seems to be a thing here from both experiences. But we would come back based on this second encounter.

I come here a lot for lunch and on this trip I brought my wife. We both had the excellent chicken soup. They give you so much you have to take some home. Very tasty. She also had a Pineapple Patron margarita that was outstanding and I had the Top Shelf margarita that was excellent. The service is always stellar and the bathrooms clean. If you are in the area I highly recommend as I have never had a bad dish or service.

Service was great and fast! The fajitas were delicious and came out sizzling It was a nice ambiance not too loud and just right to watch college football! The bottle in margarita was great and the Mexican mule!! Check them out!

Random dinner with my sister we were the only party sitting outside. Drinks came quickly, as did the food. Which I ordered a shrimp burrito and my sister had tacos. Our bill was $75 which included two drinks, tacos, shrimp burrito, Mexican salad and queso.

Food: Everything was good but the chicken fajita queso was the star of the show. The grilled chicken and cheese wrapped in the warm flour tortilla was a great start to dinner. The carnitas was cooked well but a little on the dry side. It had a nice crispy exterior and but needed a little sauce to enhance the experience. Drinks: The Virgin Pina Colada was so good. One of the best I've had outside of Mexico. I bet the cocktails are just as good. And the pink lemonade was well balanced, not too sweet and not too sour Service: The service was quick but we had to remind one of the waitresses about sides that were supposed to come with one of the dishes. Those sides were brought out promptly when reminded. Ambience: we came for dinner and sat on the patio in the evening. There was a nice breeze, early 2000s hip hop and R&B playing and various sports program on the TVs. It was as a nice vibe for a Saturday night outing for me and my husband. It was busy but not too crowded.

Delissshhhhh! And the dranks were legit! Sorry we didn't get pics of the food, but we had Queso, Pollo Asado and Pastor Tacos. Portions were huge and everything was really good! 10/10 would eat again Also a great place to watch sports! They have a back room bar with TVs, front bar with TVs and a huge TV in the main dining area. Food AND drinks looked awesome at all tables. Next time we come we're playing "We'll have what they're having"

Food isn't what I would classify as authentic Mexican but it's decent. Good service, spacious interior, with a large outdoor patio but it's on a busy street. Large parking lot. Small bar area serving pretty strong and flavorful margaritas, I like that you have the option to order a pitcher. Lots of vegan and vegeterian options. I had cheese enchiladas served with rice and beans. It was filling but lacked the Mexican flavor I enjoyed eating in SoCal. I was also a little disappointed in the Mexican style guacamole; I needed it to be spicier. It looks like they cater to the American palate, so if I return I'll ask for spicy. Pretty empty around 545 but packed around 8pm.

By far my favorite Mexican restaurant, their bowl( picture in review) was incredible. Service was great and quick as well as their Margarita pitcher was fantastic. We will definitely be returning.

I'm leaving this because what I saw doesn't line up with that review at all. The group that was eventually asked to leave came in clearly intoxicated and immediately made another table uncomfortable. When they were told the table wasn't interested in being social, the intoxicated group sat down at a table directly across from them and continued making loud, inappropriate comments. The other table appeared visibly distressed and were clearly trying to keep to themselves. Staff initially tried to calm things down and keep everyone there. When the behavior continued and escalated, they made the right call and asked the disruptive group to leave. You could feel the room relax once they were gone. Unfortunately, situations like this happen sometimes when alcohol is involved. From where I was sitting, the staff handled a tense situation professionally and fairly. I've been going to Eleanor's for over a decade and have always found the staff to be kind, attentive, and respectful. This review doesn't reflect what I personally witnessed that night.

The food was excellent, the drinks were on point, and our waitress did an awesome job handling such a large party. She stayed on top of everything and made sure we were taken care of all night. After dinner, we decided to check out the speakeasy through the freezer door--Eleanor's--and unfortunately, that's where the experience took a turn. The atmosphere itself was nice--semi-dark with a cool concept--but it could definitely lean more into a darker, more immersive speakeasy vibe. The bigger issue, though, was the service. It was night and day compared to upstairs. The waitress came across as rude and unwelcoming from the start. A few of us sat down in a small corner area with an L-shaped bench and some extra chairs we had to pull over ourselves. Obviously, with 12 people, there was no way we were all fitting there, yet she insisted she wouldn't take any drink orders until everyone was seated. That made no sense, especially since there was standing room and even a bar-height table available. To make matters worse, there was zero acknowledgment of the birthday--not even a simple "happy birthday," which felt like a missed opportunity given the occasion. When we asked about Fireball shots, the response was a blunt "um, no," followed by "you can have water," as she started filling glasses. That pretty much summed up the vibe we got. Not sure if this is typical service down there or just an off night, but it was enough to make us decide we wouldn't come back to the speakeasy. Bottom line: If you're in the area, definitely check out Muss & Turner's for dinner--it's worth it. But I'd skip Eleanor's and save your time and money.

The jerk wings had a nice kick to them without being overwhelming, super flavorful and cooked well. The catfish was crispy on the outside and tender inside, not greasy at all which I appreciated. Cornbread was soft, slightly sweet, and a perfect side to balance everything out. They even added a little handwritten note which was a nice touch and made the whole experience feel more personal. Overall, really solid comfort food with great flavor. I'd definitely order again.

I recommend pairing it with the vanilla vodka. What I didn't understand was why it didn't come mixed but I digress. For apps we got the soul rolls and wings. The wings are whole wings love it!! I would just say need to add more of the sauce. The soul rolls were different but good. My friend got the catfish punch a train he said it was good but not much if any crawfish in the sauce. I had the shrimp and grits and added the fish. The seafood was good but I felt something was missing from the grits but they weren't bad. Ended with the peach cobbler. That's a nice sharing size!! Overall, good experience i would recommend. Place had good vibes and music.
