The food was good however the customer service needs to be upgraded. Marlene needs training on greeting customers instead of customers having to ask her is she going to help them. Based on an Uber eats delivery. The food was delivered hot and fresh and they sent everything I ordered but with no eating utensils, ketchup or other condiments (aside blue cheese for the wings). So the delivery service was okay. Wings: I got the flaming hot and spicy honey garlic. The wings are a good size, not too small like a lot of other wing joints and not too big. They were swimming in sauce and maintained a crispy texture. If you like spicy, the flaming hot were perfect. They were indeed spicy but not overwhelmingly so but I did need ice water by the time I was done eating. The spicy honey garlic were okay. They were sweet and spicy with a hint of garlic. Whiting sandwich: This sandwich was actually awful. The fish was a thin piece of unseasoned whiting. The tomato and onion take away from the sandwich and there wasn't enough tartar sauce. Ordered wings and they were to dry cooked down to the bone. I call the next day to let them know. It was ordered 4pm. I work and got home to my family saying that were bad. Never had them do this before. The girl that answered the phone keep calling me ma'am as I corrected her several times. Because I did not call last night to report this they could not fix this issue. This was a solid wing spot! They have a couple tables for dining in but it seems like picking them up to go is what most people do. They made my wings crispy like I like and the wings weren't abnormally large like they are in a lot of places. They had tons of flavors but I wish the wings were a little more flavorful when seasoned. I got two dry seasonings though so that was probably my fault. Very busy establishment. Was told of very good things. This was my first time here and it wasn't as good as I thought it was. I did go with a friend (frequent patron) who also said the wings this time were not really good. I got honey lemon pepper and they were literally wet. No seasoning on them. Just a bare wing. Seasoning in the bottom of the container and the "honey " wasn't of consistency...it was pure liquid (as in watery) in the bottom of the container with the seasonings. I only ate 4 wings and trashed the rest. I really thought it would be good but nah. I am going to give it another try and maybe go to the basics and get LP. My fries weren't really good either. Not a bad little spot. Highlight of this place are the different wing options. Outside of that you could basically get everything else at the store. I say that because one of their employees walked in with a tote full of cut potatoes in a bag. For the amount of employees there the sitting area could have been a little cleaner. Wait time for my wings was about 10 minutes, but they were good and fresh so no complaints there. Nothing to write home to, but will definitely be back to try some more of their wing flavors. read more

This is an update to the last review because this time, I was actually able to go to this restaurant, and have an in-person experience. People are allowed inside to place their order despite the rules of COVID-19. They have a plastic cover to separate the customer area from the cashiers at the order area. It was somewhat crowded, but we customers did what we could to social distance ourselves, and most of us wore masks. There were tables and chairs, so I suppose if anyone wanted to dine in, they could, but it appeared as though everyone was ordering to go, including me. The restaurant is cozy, and with Atlanta Falcons football decorations. As I stated in my last review, Touchdown Wings has 30 flavors of wings to choose from, so that can be a little overwhelming. However, I made up my mind that I would try the #1 Touchdown Special. The cashiers and workers there were friendly. After I made my order, I waited about 20 minutes before my order number was called. I was summoned to the side of the ordering station where a worker opened the boxes of food that I ordered for my inspection. In addition to my Touchdown Special Wings, I also ordered Spicy Lemon Pepper, and Mild Wings. In my last review, I commented that the french fries lacked salt. Well, here is the reason they lack salt: They don't salt their fries! They offer customers the option to use their special seasoning to salt their own fries! Therefore, if you want salt on your fries, you have to sprinkle it on! The Touchdown Special flavor has a suttle spicy heat that is not too hot, and a garlic taste. Very suttle, but good. All in all, the ordering experience, and the food was a good one. read more

First time trying this place but wasn't at all disappointed. Typically, I would provide a photo of my food selection. The food was so good, I completely forgot to take a photo. Wings are a good size, restaurant is quite responsive when playing delivery orders and if you need to make changes after submission. Wing size is small but no different from the average "game day" wings you'd get in most places. Portions are a good size. Wings are definitely frozen before fried. Lots of flavors to select from and there is great variety with other options on the menu. They are my go to for now in a pinch when I'm ready to eat but indecisive on what to eat. I often frequent this location, normally receiving ok service. On 12/16/23, I went there, like I normally do, to pick up my order and was treated very disrespectfully. I've often heard how the Asians treat the African American community in their establishments and have experienced some of their dislikes towards us in other businesses of theirs but on this day, I experienced the dislike from them at Touchdown Wings in Douglasville on Hwy 5. I asked for additional condiments, and the young man that was helping me not only was extremely rude, but nasty at the same time. He said to me, I already gave you 2. So, I said, I would like more and if there is a charge, which there normally is, I have no problem paying for it. I know what I normally pay for extra condiments there, but he goes to give me a much higher price than what I'm normally used to paying. I then ask, when did the price change, as I'm reaching for my wallet to pay the higher price. He goes to say, it changed today and if you can't afford it then just leave. This was very triggering because who are you to assume what I can or can't afford just because I asked when did the price change, and after already paying $13 for 10 wings and fries. On average, I spend upward of over $60 a weekend at this establishment and when they have the African American young lady working there, I never have this problem. SHE was the reason why I felt comfortable going there and telling other people about going there. After this disgusting experience, I will no longer patronize this establishment. Mr. PJ's on Chapel Hill and J Buffalo Wings on Fairburn Rd and Hospital Dr have much better customer service, food, and they do not discriminate. They want to put their businesses in our communities and get our money, but they have a problem with us! Put your businesses in other communities and let's see how well you do!! My husband and I came here at 8:00 on a Monday night because I had a serious craving for lemon pepper wings. I'm so glad we did! We opted to go for a 30pc, and the price was very affordable (maybe around 20 bucks? My memory is a little fuzzy). The three flavors we chose were lemon pepper, HONEY lemons pepper, and garlic butter. There were many more to choose from, they have the most extensive flavor list I've seen in a long time. The best of our choices was the honey lemon pepper, hands down. The wings were a good size and cooked well. I saw that they also carry fried rice, burgers, and a lot more, so I foresee another trip in the future to sample the other offerings. They offer a soda fountain as well as canned or 2L sodas, and even dessert. There are three 4-top tables but it seems like many people come in just for takeaway. My husband used the restroom and reports that their facilities are clean and in good repair. If you live in South Cobb or North Douglas, or find yourself cruising Bankhead through Austell, considering stopping into this little wing joint next to the Food Depot- I doubt you'll be disappointed. read more
