I ordered two different sashimi (yellowtail and octopus), and they arrived quickly via the top conveyor track with bells and flashing lights announcing its arrival. The sashimi was delicious as well as the 4-5 plates of sushi I tried from the lower conveyor (Crabby Abby and Rainbow rolls among others). My sister ordered Japanese Udon Noodles with shrimp (she's not much on raw fish), and it looked and tasted good too. It's great to be able to sample various sushi rolls with only a two roll minimum, where most sushi restaurants you have to order 8-10 of the same type at a time. I'll definitely be back for more sashimi and sushi (the stars of the show for me). One possible negative is the pot of ginger on the table, shared by anyone using the table. I tried a bite, but I'm not sure how sanitary that arrangement is. The health score of the restaurant is 99, so that makes me feel better.

And to boot, the ginger in the table condiments smelled like pee. The wasabi was in packets. I asked about it and they admitted someone didn't "change" it. What is it, a diaper? Does it just sit there all day/overnight? It just feels like they are cutting corners and trying to provide the least amount of food/service to save money. They should visit Revolving Sushi in Windy Hill and see how to do it. I may return one more time after they get the AYCE buffet portion going (it was not in motion yet but appears it will be $25 for lunch), but I have low expectations right now. For 6 plates, 2 Cali rolls (8 pcs) and 4 of the others (4x2 =8 pcs)...16 pieces of sushi cost me $22 total including tip. I did provide this feedback to my server on my way out and this mirrors my Google review as well. I do think I might give them another chance due to the AYCE feature starting in July, and report back. Hopefully there will be improvement as it would be nice to have something like this. Overall I think they need to: 1. Consider adding more pieces to their 2 sushi plates, to be on par with the other revolving sushi places nearby. 2. Figure out a safe and hygienic ginger and wasabi situation. I suggest using fresh ginger & wasabi (not packets) and bringing them to the table with the water cup. 3. Work on prettier rolls; the rolls currently look very...thrown together. The Cali rolls look the best/cleanest.
