Turkey Ribs, Mac n Yams
Amiir H.

Let me tell you... 10 outta 10 we will be back again. I've never had turkey ribs, matter of fact I didn't even know that turkeys had a ribcage but here we are. The general consensus is that turkeys is dry, I can tell you this establishment disproves that notion. The ribs were extremely tender and flavorful The sides are immaculate, a lot of BBQ places focus on the meats only but here the love is shared among dishes. The Mac wasn't just cheese and noodles, you get the hints of seasoning in there. The yams aren't just brown sugar, you taste the nutmeg and cinnamon notes. And that damn honey butter cornbread was warm and fluffy I'll wrap it up with the service, Mr. Harvey is one of the kindest souls in the food industry, the man knows customer service. He greeted us with a smile and let us take our time ordering, told us this would be our new home away from home and dammit he was right! This family run business has all the charm and all of the flavors you need.

Omg 1000/10! Everything was so delicious and the customer service was so great! I decided to try this place out after getting so many delivery request from them and I am so happy I did! Please go support

Today was a miss. I had 70 percent brisket fat(bummer) and everything was a lil more "saltier" than the norm. Service is good -nice young lady took the order and cool gentleman delivers to your car Ambiance-I love sitting outside but it was "sorta* full so I ate a lil on the Home Depot lot and went home. I'll try it again, because usually itsa* 10/10 for me

I had came out of my 12 hours shift and I couldn't take a picture of my food. But this place was okay, there is no indoor dinning. Food was alright, it's the not the best out there. I got the rib tip and honestly if you get the sauce, it was too much on top. The rib tip, the white bone part was too big here so it was hard for me to chew. I don't think I would come back here.

I had my meal delivered to me from Uber Eats. I was down the street at the shop waiting for my car to finish. The wait was like 20 mins, which wasn't bad. By the time the driver hot to me, my food was still fresh and hot. I've been meaning to go back, but keep forgetting. I ordered the rib tips, mac n cheese and Hawaiian baked beans. EVERYTHING WAS THE BOMB.COM My next visit will be in person and I can not wait. I do know the outside has a nice feel to it with picnic tables and umbrellas if you wanted to sit outside and enjoy your food and weather.

Ok so I live in the area and had been wanting to try this place. Well, it's a solid 3 stars. The food was extremely flavorless, basic and bland. Definitely nothing to write home about or make a second visit. I had the leg quarter which is absolutely HUGE! I've never in my life seen a leg quarter that big. The meal comes with 2 sides, I chose Mac and cheese and green beans. The Mac was flavorless and gummy. The green beans just ok. I had the Jamaican Jerk barbecue sauce and it was quite spicy but good. However, my concern is that the chicken was clearly from yesterday and had been refrigerated. Once I peeled the thick layer of barbecued skin back, the actual chicken had zero flavor. I had to dip it in the sauce but it was still just bland. They really need to season their meat before cooking. The peach cobbler was cold and unimpressive. The staff was very nice and the service was friendly, fast and efficient. But overall, this is a one and done type of place for me. I can't see myself craving anything I bought from here today ever again. And at 20 bucks a plate it just wasn't worth it. Don't recommend.

Cool spot but no inside dining! Good service but everything is made to order! You may want to call in because drive thru might take longer

I am so upset about the food we received today. We ordered food for lunch. I only have a picture of my food. The ribs were just okay but def maybe a day old. The macaroni and cheese needs cheese. Who's idea was it to just over pepper the green beans instead of using other seasonings. I hope this restaurant was just having an off day. I've heard good things about the food. 2 stars because the sauce on the ribs was good.

Honey corn bread $0.50. Looks can be deceiving. It was dry! 2/28/2020.

I really wanted to give at least 4 stars. After driving by for quite sometime, I decided to give it a try even though it was within an hour of closing. Friday, February 28, 2020. 8:05 pm. Parking lot is fairly small. No painted lines--people just park how they see fit. I didn't have to wait too long to place my order. The wait came after placing your order. Not much space to sit. Next time I'll try to call ahead. Most of the items on menu are a la carte. There is a board with daily specials. I opted to order the ribs with two sides $17.99 before tax. Added the honey corn bread $0.50. Spent just under $20. My sides were carribbean baked beans and candied yams. Both were delicious. I am a fan of the baked beans. Now the ribs were half & half for me. The first 2 bones were tender, then the next 2 I could barely chew and then another that was tender. I didn't ask for a specific sauce nor was I asked. But i was pleased with whatever was on there. Now my problem is that the beans and yams were slightly warm. The ribs were COLD. I know i waited at least a good 20 minutes..baffled why the ribs weren't even luke warm? I was excited to try the honey cornbread. It looked good. But was disappointed. It was like 2-day old jiffy cornbread, hard and crispy with honey slathered on it. No bueno. Ok so the meal was to come with 2 slices bread. There was 1 slice and I swear it tasted like it fell into some banana pudding. What?!? Ok. Just minor items left...no receipt was given and asked about it the young lady said when I entered phone number one was sent. Welp, nope no receipt. No attempt to even print a receipt. However, did get enrolled into a reward program. Which goes to your phone. Liked that part! Thank goodness I'm good with math and my total was on point. I will return for the baked beans and perhaps try another meat.

The mac & cheese was dry and had little cheese, with tons of flavor . The Rib tips were very tender and juice and the BBQ was amazing with the hickory flavor. The service was amazing with free refills and compliments. The ambiance was like a cookout with my family.

House Rubbed Pork Ribs Combo

I got the pork rib combo with yams and Mac n Cheese. The ribs were a bit cold and don't seem as if they were seasoned much. So I added some additional seasoning and placed it in the microwave. The Mac n Cheese and Yams however were very hot so I'm not sure why the ribs were so cold. Oh and they put bbq sauce on the ribs and add a mustard based sauce on top of the ribs. I don't like mustard with a passion so I would just make sure I ask to leave that out next time. I think it's a unique mixture for people who do like mustard tho. Bbq sauce was pretty good. Not sure which one I got the lady didn't ask which I preferred when I ordered.

Ask the Community - ATL Fusion BBQ

Does this place serve bbq Beef Ribs or only pork?

Yes, we sell beef ribs and beef brisket. But we don’t have everyday, usually towards the weekend. Just call ahead to make sure we have them on hand. They sell pretty quick when we do have them

My recommendation would be the baked chicken, cabbage, yams, and sweet potato pie. The ice tea is a must have. Kool aid and coke products are also available. The parking lot is large. So parking won't be a problem. But the inside is small so you will probably want to take the food to go. The menu changes from the week to the weekend with Sunday being soul food day. I will be back to try jerk turkey and meatloaf. Maybe next Sunday.

The shrimp was fresh and not overcooked or rubbery. The grits were smooth. The gravy was well seasoned, but not overly salty or rich. The cornbread and bread or biscuit was good, but not extraordinary. Those were quite dense and heavy paired with the other food. I loved the banana pudding. This meal jumpstarted my banana pudding hyper fixation. Very fragrant and not too thick yet still nice and creamy. It wasn't overly sweet or heavy either. It was a good dessert to round out the meal. I hope to come here again and have an actual sit down experience. Curious to see the ambiance!

Now I have had the turkey wings before and they was OK so she let me taste the dressing and I was like OK because I was iffy on the rice and dislocation. Things can be a hit or miss depend depending on who's in the kitchen. So service was amazing. She helped me, but also explained a few things to me because for the first time she asked me do you want cranberry sauce? I've never had anybody asked me do I want cranberry sauce I just thought they never served it. But here's where the dilemma comes in because we haven't even got to the Food yet you see what I'm saying. So asked me was I using cash or card? I didn't think anything of it because I don't see a sign or anything that you're charging people to use their card. So I pay but in my mind I'm saying hold on something ain't right because that's $85 plus tax. Why is it $93.08 ? So she said do you want to see I said yes I'll look at my receipt and if I have paid cash, it would've been $90.10 with tax which that should've been what it is. but oh no another Atlanta thing that people do you scam people and charge me almost three dollars two dollars and ninety eight cents for using my card. So I ask y'all charge me for using my card? Because being honest, I was almost to the point just to refund everything. You go to McDonald's you go to certain other restaurant they don't charge you for using your debit or credit card. So she explained to me yes we used to have signs out for corporate. Doesn't want signs out. Now me a run a business I know what it may you may be charged but the way they're charging it is it's not no set price. The more you spend the more they charge you to use your card.! and that is a rip off. That is the reason I'll never go to this location again I will try the one on Camp Creek and see if they are charging people to use their card because I went there for a few weeks ago and got some chitlins because that is the location. I love to go to the food is subpar. We already know that but those chitlins I can't deny they're good. And normally I would go to Camp Creek just for the chitlins you right I will go! Because this location I've got chitlins and they stink to high heel because they wasn't cleaned enough. But you know how they say you give give people another chance. And I told him I'm gonna do a Google review. I'm gonna do a yelp review and videos to post on social media. But this is my fault because they already have a two star is average. No wonder they need to charge people to use their card that's another way for them to get money in their pockets as to corporate. You don't see other corporate chain, restaurants, charging you to use your cord. This is almost like that you see some of those gas stations where they charge you a little under regular gas prices for using cash, but charge you a little higher gas price for using your debit or credit card. It's all a ploy to get more money in their pockets. How do I know this? I have an insider I'm a aerospace engineer so I know what a corporation can be charged for but the reason they're being charge is because really it's only like 15 $.20 per person to use your card but when business isn't good yeah you got it you got you know create extra funds, and this is a way that you create extra funds to supplement the loss of money. Now let's get to the Food. The turkey wings bland, and they wasn't cooked long enough. The tip wasn't even edible unless you get a knife and fork and I should've been able to suck them bones and slide that meat off there. So I am a bariatric patient and if it don't taste good, it goes in the trash and that's what happened to those turkey wings, and that cabbage . I won't waste a little bit. I can eat on stuff that isn't good or great ! The dressing it was good this day, especially with the cranberry sauce that I have for the first time that was great. The cabbage throw that in the trash hell damn no. The sweet potato soufflé you can't mess that up. Well sometimes you can, but I've never had it messed up. That was great. I almost wish I would've got me a veggie plate with sweet potato soufflé the dressing and gravy and some Black Eyed Peas cause I don't like their macaroni and cheese and I'm a cook. I'm a home chef. Lastly the chitlins was OK. I need to put a little red pepper flakes. And some hot sauce and a little bit of seasoning blend but I woke them up. I think from now on I'll go to Camp Creek if I want some chitlins. Just understand if you go to this location or the corporate locations they are charging you to use your debit or credit card! And it's not one price the more you spend the more that charge is . It should be one set price. It doesn't change CORPORATE!!! I'm giving it a one star because that's for the chitlins being OK

The reason if ace them three stars was because I went back the next day to grab a few plates for me and my family that I was going to bring back home from Atlanta. Before I left my mom's house unused Uber Eats to place my order and I would pick it up and then hit the highway home. I ordered my food around 1:35pm and got the notification it would be ready by 1:53. Cool! I'd have time to get there without rushing as the ride would take about 25 minutes. Well I get there around 2:05 and had to wait a few minutes before I was served as there were people in line before me. Well long story short...I didn't leave the restaurant until around 2:45 as they hadn't even started on my order when I arrived! Ten people came in after me and left before I did...!! Which of course put me way behind schedule on getting back home. And on top of all that...three things were replaces on my order...I was sitting there the WHOLE time!! They could have asked me about replacements. And I say that because I have a gluten allergy and they gave me macaroni & cheese!! No cornbread that should have been free. I thought they would have at least offered me a dessert for making me wait so long but...they didn't.
