Whenever I'm in Orange, I try to make my way to Urth. If not to eat a meal, I at least get their Blended Green Tea Boba. Love love love it! That's the only drink I get there. I've tried a few others, but nothing compares. The service is great and the place is spacious and loud (a bonus that it is kid-friendly). I was in the mood for pizza and my favorite pizza of theirs has to be their Wild Mushroom Pizza. Hands down, the best option here. All the flavors blend together nicely. I had to end my meal with their Banana Cream Pie. A little indulgence never hurt anyone, right?

I've been to my fair share of trendy cafés, so walking into Urth Caffé didn't exactly shock me... but I will say, it still knows how to put on a show. The vibe is undeniably cute. Like, dangerously cute. The kind of place where even waiting feels aesthetic if you're in the right mood. Every corner feels curated, the crowd is very "students with laptops and iced drinks," and even the indoor seating had this warm, almost cinematic feel to it. Unfortunately, I didn't get to fully soak that part in because the experience quickly turned into a bit of a chaotic food journey. Let's talk about the order situation, because wow. Somehow, we ended up getting our dessert first, then a smoothie, and then finally the pizza. I wish I could say it was part of some artistic dining experience, but no, it was just confusing. By the time the margarita pizza came out, it felt like the emotional climax of a very disorganized story. And honestly, it took way too long for something that simple. It got to the point where we had to get up and check on it ourselves, which kind of breaks the whole relaxed café illusion they're going for. I get that it's busy, and trust me, it is busy, but there's a difference between high energy and just feeling overlooked. That being said, I can't sit here and pretend the place doesn't have charm. It absolutely does. The vibe is strong, the people-watching is top tier, and if you're the kind of person who doesn't mind a little unpredictability in service, you'll probably still enjoy yourself. Just come prepared. Come with patience, come knowing it's going to be packed, and maybe don't expect your meal to follow any traditional timeline. It's a beautiful, bustling, slightly chaotic experience that feels more about the atmosphere than the execution.

We were here mid-Easter morning. Urth is a cool-vibe place and, remarkably, had plenty of seating given the number of people who were there. The line went quickly and the cashiers had excellent knowledge of the offerings. I ordered the D'Lox toast , which was very good. Plenty of lox and fixings. I wasn't a fan of the English buckwheat toast crust, but enjoyed the bread itself (I'd never tried this type of bread before, and was raised to try everything once, so no regrets). The Spanish Latte is one of the specialties. It was really satisfying and whatever the mystery ingredient is kept me guessing and interested. My husband had the dark house coffee, which he really liked, and the sausage and potato omelette and accompanying salad was a hit. I asked one of the staff for coffee bean recommendations. He suggested the house dark for my husband, the house light, for my son, and another type for a friend when I told him their preferences. He really listened. We returned today and I had a killer mushroom omelette. I had a cup of the house light, which, if you like light coffee, is very good. My husband had the Italian omelette and the dark coffee, and he was very happy with both. When you're in SoCal, don't miss out.

I went back to Urth Café for brunch today for the first time after a long while. This location is at the Orange Circle in old town Orange. There is lots of parking near and around the restaurant but it is a very busy area. So, you may have to park on one of the adjacent streets. The restaurant is in a historical building that dates back to the 1800's. The interior has an industrial charm and Victorian elegance like most buildings in that part of town. The interior has High ceilings, exposed brick walls, artisan tilework, and wrought iron accents. There is lots of indoor seating as well as outdoor sidewalk seating with market umbrellas. I Love the big Island with high chairs where you sit around the island top fire pit. It is a cozy, and social friendly arrangement. The restaurant is loud and vibrant creating a warm, bustling atmosphere. As you arrive, you are most likely to find a line. You must place your order first, grab your number and your order will be delivered to your table. They have a pamphlet menu. The Menu is extensive with sandwiches, salads, soups, plates, egg dishes, pancakes, french toasts and so much more. They also have lots of coffee, tea and other beverage options. I recommend that you grab one of the menus and decide on what to order while waiting in line so, that you do not hold up the line or feel rushed when it is your turn. Today everyone in my party ordered the same dish. We got the mushroom omelette. As far as I could tell. It had mushrooms in it, cheese and onions. On the side, we got hash brown and two slices of French baguette with butter. It also comes with a salad, but it really, is just one Leaf of lettuce and one slice of tomato. In other words, not much of a salad at all. It looks more like a garnish than a salad. The omelette was pretty good. The hash brown came in the form of two potato cakes and were OK. We wanted them crispy, but they tasted more like boiled potatoes. For beverage, I got the café pistachio, which is sort of a pistachio latte. It was really good. Just lightly sweet. Just the way that I like it. In conclusion. The food was good minus my hash brown. I enjoyed my coffee and everyone liked their dishes. The space is beautiful and has a good energy to it. Everyone is friendly. The Service is really good and prices are average. So, overall we had a good experience. I recommend Urth Café

Food was amazing. Staff was very friendly. Dining room had plenty seating inside and outside. Their coffee is bold and strong. Will be visiting again when in town.

I came on a early Sunday afternoon. The line was out the door. It took about 20 minutes or more for me to order; however once I ordered my food was out within 10 minutes. I sat outside reading my book catching a lil vibe. I ordered the large iced green rose latte which was EXCELLENT. Maybe it's just me but it kinda tastes like fruity pebbles. I loved itttttt. I ordered the huevos rancheros plate with over medium easy. Delicious. I ordered the flourless chocolate cake. It was delicious and I want to top it with raspberries when I get home. I enjoyed my brunch here. The only thing I don't like about this place is staff doesn't walk around after you order to see if you need anything. I needed a box and waited for quite some time. However I don't let this affect the rating because it is a cafe and it was pretty busy so it is not expected but it would make a huge difference in customer service!

My daughter found this cafe from TikTok videos. We went and enjoyed our time there. Be ready to pay for parking. The cafe was very nice. Although we chose their outside seating, the inside is big and has a lot of seating around. There is an area where you can set in the window out front toward the street but there were people sitting outside at the tables. We would be staring right in their faces which would be awkward! It was busy which to us is a good sign that people like the restaurant. We ordered the Egg Sandwich, Breakfast Burrito with Pork, Espresso Boba Affogato, Green Rose Latte and dessert was the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie. It all came to $71.38. It's a little much but we enjoyed the food. Big portions! We couldn't finish it all so it was lunch and dinner! Afterwards we walked around the area shops.

I love this Urth location because it's great as a cafe and as a restaurant space. If you just want to eat, you order at the register, and they bring you your food. A lot of people use it as a study space like a cafe. Lots of students and people studying and working. I like this spot because it's open later than most cafes and has lots of seating but still has a cozy feel with the big fire in the middle of the room. Some of the food and drinks are on the pricier side. The chicken soup seemed a bit expensive for the portion size. It was tasty, though, and good for a sick or cold day. Comes with bread and butter at no extra cost. If you're not lucky enough to get street parking next to the place, there's a free parking structure that's at most a 5 minute walk away. Highly recommend this location as a nighttime eat/drink + study spot.

I've always enjoyed coming to Urth. LA, OC... it's always great. Ambience is inviting and decor it's organic. One thing I appreciate is their menu. There's so much variety and something for everyone. Service is always good, food comes quickly and it's always hot. The reason for the 4 stars it is due to having had tasted better eggs Benedict's and omelettes, but I always really enjoy their salads.

Açaí bowl 5/5 the toppings with the fruits and cocoa nibs was fresh but the açaí itself is icy so it melts quickly. Pistachio lattte- they made the coolest swan design on the top. It was one of the coolest latte art. You can ask for Togo or order inside where they bring to your table. I'm not sure if they have wifi but they have a lot of breakfast options $15-30 price point. Drinks are $7+

Exploring the area and kiddo recommended Urth Caffe for lunch. Quite an extensive menu and so many sweet items in the display case. Went with the corn waffle - very reminiscent of corn bread. Maybe would've liked it to be a bit more crispy, but still enjoyed it. The nicoise salad was another good one. Too full to try the desserts, but I'd like to return to give them a try.

    Difficult but doable

Do you pay for your order first and then sit down or do they have serves at this location!?

I wanted to share some comprehensive feedback regarding a recent experience, aiming to highlight both your successes and areas where further refinement could elevate the customer journey even further. First and foremost, I must commend your team for their exceptional warmth and hospitality. From my initial phone call to the moment I picked up my order, I felt genuinely welcomed and valued. This level of customer service, which often feels lacking in many establishments today, truly sets American Grub apart. It creates a welcoming atmosphere that significantly enhances the overall experience, and I sincerely hope this commitment to friendliness remains a cornerstone of your operation. However, I encountered a couple of points that, in my personal opinion, warrant consideration for improvement. Regarding the payment process, I felt a degree of apprehension about providing my credit card details over the phone. While I understand the operational need to secure orders and prevent potential losses, particularly for larger transactions, for a single item like my bacon cheeseburger, priced at $17.24 including tax, this practice felt somewhat disproportionate. I also noted the 99-cent fee for online payments, which, while minor, might deter some customers who are seeking convenience without additional charges. Perhaps exploring alternative secure payment links for phone orders or adjusting the fee structure for smaller transactions could enhance customer comfort and streamline the process. My primary concern, however, arose upon returning home. Despite ordering a bacon cheeseburger, I discovered the burger completely lacked bacon, as well as any form of sauce or mayonnaise. This oversight had a significant impact on the meal; the absence of these core components rendered the burger quite bland and far from the experience I had anticipated. When ordering a single item, the expectation for meticulous attention to detail is particularly high, as there are fewer variables. Consequently, the overall value of the meal, given the missing ingredients, was not quite met on this occasion. I did reach out to the owner privately via email to discuss these points, and I appreciate their responsiveness and transparency in addressing my feedback, particularly concerning the rationale behind the phone payment policy. It is reassuring to know that your business is open to customer input. My hope is that these observations can serve as constructive input, allowing American Grub to continue refining its excellent service and product quality. I remain a supporter of your local endeavor and look forward to seeing these aspects addressed. Thank you for reaching out. To clarify, all my reviews and communications are crafted solely from my personal experiences and genuine perspectives, not AI. Every word and insight you read is authentically mine, driven by my commitment to provide honest feedback. Even though the review was long..(lol) I wanted to make sure the details are accurate and understandable. What other better place to celebrate our friend reunion at a place called "Reunion"? ;)…read more We were looking for a good brunch place to try out and found this place near Corona. Parking: I had no problem finding parking spot as the lot is huge and shared with many other businesses. Interior: We were seated right away without any wait time as we arrived when they just opened. We were seated in a dark area of the restaurant (think bar vibe) so I was a little not sure at first. Most brunch places I went to were always filled with sunlight and bright colorful interiors. This place embraced a classic, quiet feel, something like a Steak House would have. Service: Our server's name was Susan I believe, who was nice and attentive through the whole meal, despite the crowd slowly built up and filled the restaurant. She never failed to check back on us, not just once but twice and refilled our water. She probably isn't as familiar with the brunch menu favorites but seem to know more about the Main menu. The General Manager came out and greeted us because most of their customers are regulars and it's uncommon to have first timers like us visiting. This nice hospitality made us feel very warmly welcomed and impressed. Food: I couldn't decide whether to go with the Slow braised beef on the brunch menu (braised beef benedict) or the main menu but ended up going with the Main menu to get a good portion size. It was a perfect choice because the beef is just amazing. It was cooked to a soft perfection, well seasoned, the roasted vegetable was also cooked just right and not super raw/ crunchy like other places. Then the star of the show arrived - the butter cake. As Susan suggested, this is their most popular dessert and I can see why. The butter cake comes piping hot with the ice cream on top. There's a nice sugar crunchy feel near the bottom of the cake. It's so delicious that I want to come back just to eat this cake. We had a great time overall and would love to come back.

The only downside is parking can be a little difficult during lunch time. One of the things I like about this place is when you walk through the door you already have a warm and fuzzy feeling. Almost like you're going into someone else's home for a meal. Lots of wood. Lots of dim lining. The place is very upscale without feeling stuffy. If you are going there for lunch, I highly recommend you get the burger off the menu. I am not kidding. It is one of the best tasting hamburgers I've had in a very long time. They cook it perfectly and their french fries are seasoned to perfection. Wait staff is top-notch, they definitely take care of your table while not hovering over you. One thing of note, they have great iced tea. Bottom line? If you are in town and looking for a good lunch that won't break the bank, I highly recommend public legacy, and make sure you get the burger!

It's a great place to grab a bite before a movie or a nearby Angels or Ducks game. The service was quick and friendly, and the menu is a decent size with a few vegan options. The restaurant offers both indoor seating and a bar area, making it a comfortable spot whether you're grabbing a casual meal or just drinks with friends. Overall, it's a convenient, reliable option in the area.
