I am very impressed with Al the locksmith. He picked up the phone immediately, and showed up exactly when he said he would. And his prices are very reasonable. He got the job done quickly, and efficiently with no damage. Someone else would have destroyed the lock, and charged me extra. Al is an absolute pleasure to work with. I already reccommended him to a few people. I will use Al for all my future locksmith needs. read more

Awesome, same day installation of August Lock. Great guys, prompt and professional. Would use again.

I recommend this business with a few caveats. First, although this is indeed a women-owned business, the person you will most likely interact with is a large man. If you are a petite female like myself, make sure you are not alone when you schedule the appointment because otherwise you may feel unsafe (not that he did anything untoward, but it's always a risk to have strange men in your home when you're home alone as a female). Secondly, he never gave me a choice of locks at varying price points, he just sold me the most expensive lock imported from Israel. Had he given me a choice, I probably would have chosen a less expensive option. To the female business owner's credit, she was genuinely surprised that he didn't give me a choice and promised to have a word with him about it. All in all, I'm satisfied with the service this business provides, but they list a star because of the male owner's questionable practices. If you're a female, ask to speak to the female owner for sure! read more

Al is a nice, friendly guy who did a great job, really quickly, and for a lower price than any of the other locksmiths I got quotes from on Yelp. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again. read more

Had a bad experience before with getting gouged in price by this other locksmith, so took a chance here and I was not disappointed. I had a really old front door lock, like 40 years or so in age, that I finally needed replaced. Unfortunately the lock even after replacing kept sticking so I had to call back to have him fix it not once, but two more times to file down the plate so the door finally opened easily again. Was so nice about it and was so encouraging about making sure it was 100% even after I basically monopolized his time for way longer than it should have been. Plus I wasn't gouged in price either. 10/10 would call for any future lock needs. read more

We found ourselves with lost keys on Sunday afternoon, we needed to change all of our locks. This company came within the hour and charged a reasonable price. The locksmith was called Al, and he was pleasant and friendly and did a very nice job. It is so easy to be cheated or overcharged when one needs emergency locksmith service, it was a very nice surprise to get someone so good, so professional and who did not try and fleece us! I highly recommend this company! read more

Just moved into my new co-op, needed locks changed. Al was quick to respond and set up a time that was convenient for me. His tech, George, was excellent - thorough, listened to what I needed, made great suggestions, didn't sell me anything I didn't need. Plus Al covers the work for 5 years. Home run! read more

Al was extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. He made an appointment at a convenient time for us, then called on the day of and offered to come earlier, which worked great for us. He is very reasonably priced, cheaper than the other places I got quotes from, and more professional. He does the little things that aren't strictly part of the job without charging you more for them. I highly recommend. read more
