We found Timothy in a moment of desperation, trying to find someone to come late at night to replace a lock after the fire department broke in our door. Since then, we've called Timothy for new projects, and recommended him to our homeowners association, for repairs on doors to our building. Timothy was great. He replaced our lock with a temporary lock, and returned to replace our door, threshold, lock, and molding, also painting the door and trim to match our existing trim. We were pleasantly surprised to find that Timothy could handle all aspects of the door replacement, and we weren't left trying to find someone who could cut molding. I needed to have multiple locks replaced within a small timeframe. Tim was able to come the following morning (and ended up arriving earlier than scheduled which was a plus). I had initially thought we would have to have all the locks replaced - Tim told me flat out that rekeying would be more than enough for my purposes (despite the fact that replacing the locks would have meant a better fee for him). He worked quickly and efficiently (it took him no more than 30 minutes to do all three doors), and the charge for his services was fair. I had to take care of two cats over the weekend and I was locked out of a client's home. I was worried I wouldn't be able to get to the cats but the man (I'm guessing this was Timothy; I wish I remembered to catch his name) who helped me provided excellent service. The price the gentleman quoted was fair, he arrived within 20 - 30 minutes and he performed the job quickly. I think it took him less than 10 minutes to complete! If I could give Tim 10 stars, I totally would. I was locked out of my apartment and my poor dog needed to use the bathroom. Tim came within 15 minutes and picked the lock in less than 10 minutes. He didn't damage the lock at all. No need for drilling unlike some other locksmiths in town were recommending. He charged us less than what he said on the phone. Have children? ....than you would understand why we had "Tim" come out to visit us and install another deadbolt on our front door only higher than the original. Our son has never gotten out as we have to watch him every second but we took a precaution and decided it would be money well spent. Tim has also helped us in the past when an alternate dog walker (ours was out on vacation) nearly ripped our front door knob off trying to open the door not realizing he has to turn the key completely to unlock.
