I was not expecting much from this cafe in a strip mall. I had the ahi tuna salad, and it was honestly one of my favorite salads ever. I eat a lot of lean proteins and don't eat red meat, so I loved how many options I could choose from on the menu. If a location opened up closer to where I live, I'd definitely eat here often. read more

Went for lunch today. First time. In strip mall on outer ring of shopping center. Very busy but they get you through the order line quickly and the cashier was so friendly and super good at her job. Great first impression! Decor is industrial modern with pipes in very tall ceilings and lots of noise due to acoustics. No comfy furniture so people do not linger. Hubs got Sicilian and I got portobello sandwiches. Bread nice but sandwiches small. I liked the side salad, mostly the dressing. He said his sandwich was ok, just ok. Mine was very oily and my tummy is telling me all about it. Not a good feeling. Glad we tried it but will not be returning. read more

Always loved this place up until today. I ordered a few items from the menu to go. On one of the items which was the bbq salad I asked for Coleslaw on the side. When my order was ready I checked and saw there was no coleslaw. So I asked the lady with glasses and tattoos if I could give me a side of coleslaw. She had a major attitude problem and made it such an issue. She said the order said no coleslaw. I explained they got it wrong and it was not a problem if she just gave me a side. She told me the only kind she had was pre mixed I told her that was not a problem. She tried to continue to discuss the complication of her having to provide me a side which was supposed to be in the salad. She was rude and a bad attitude. Just because I have had nothing but pleasant experiences, I felt leaving my review was the least i could do after their incredible service and food. When I first tried Urbane Cafe on my own, I absolutely loved it (my favorite is the green chili sandwich, SO GOOD!) So, a couple weeks later, I had to order lunch for a work meeting, and since nobody could settle on a place, I chose to order Urbane. We had about 12-13 different orders for the meeting and they got every last detail perfect, and even wrote names on all of the containers which was really convenient. And not only that, but everyone in the meeting LOVED the food. And we also had some of their fresh chocolate chip cookies that were still soft and warm when we had them in the meeting. Today, we had another meeting and 16 different orders, and again, they got it 100% perfect! And sadly I didn't get the cookies this time, but everyone was asking for them and was really sad we didn't have any lol (next time for sure!). I will definitely continue to use Urbane Cafe for as many meetings as possible and I couldn't be happier with the food, service and overall experience! Fantastic place. read more

We had such an incredible experience tonight. Hubby ordered The Ahi, I the BBQ chicken salad and little man got a kids cheese pizza with fruit. Honestly, one of the best salads we have both ever had. I love this this place!! I came for their soft opening and they were giving away free food. Literally everything on their menu except the soups (because they didn't serve them yet) was free!! So ya already know I took it to my full advantage. I went a little crazy. I came on the first day twice. Once in the afternoon and spontaneously went again at night. I'm in love with their sandwiches!! I love the bread, it's like no other bread I have had. They make the bread fresh right in front of you and it's also just as good when it's cold but even better when it's fresh. The service is amazing. My food came out so quickly I was not waiting for no more than 5 minutes which I was impressed by considering it's their soft opening. They were also giving away their cookies which were so amazing!! I don't know why, I was in love with them. I was ridiculous and asked for 3 cookie. I felt bad for taking that many but I mean come on they were free for crying out loud. I also came in the 2nd day of their soft opening with my dad and we asked if we can take a sandwich home for my mom (because she was gonna feel left out from the free food) and the cashiers were ever so kind to let us have a another free sandwich to take home because they want everyone to try their food. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by their service. Very friendly people and accommodating to your wants. Don't really see what all the hoopla is about. I went here after work and ordered a couple of sandwiches to take home for dinner. The side salad that comes with the sandwiches is awful. It's spring mix with vinaigrette, didn't even eat it. The sandwiches themselves are small and don't have very much filling. I was expecting more from a sandwich that cost $10. The Urban Plates of Temecula has arrived! Still eating my cilantro chicken salad while I write this and it's fresh and delicious. Love that it came with bread but not so impressed with the focaccia. Went in to order to go and the interior has a clean, industrial-minimalist vibe with a patio that will surely be packed as we enter the summer months. Didn't order a beverage but their blackberry rosemary lemonade sounded like a must for next time. Not a lot of places in the area for healthy and tasty food, so this will definitely be my go to. read more

Came by to check out the new spot they are not quite open yet so we thought we would have to go some were else. Nope there hospitality exceeded 90% of other restaurants, they invited us to try out there food no cost. So the place looks great can't see Baja Fresh at all modern feel clean lines. The food is delicious I had the tri tip sandwich on there home made focaccia bread absolutely amazing my wife had the roasted rosemary chicken sandwich just the right mixture of flavor they blended together perfectly. I recently stopped by to check this place out with my brother and I didn't even know that this place has been around at this location for over a year! If I would've known about this place I'd be coming here often. For starters, the decor of the place is lovely and just gives this place a vibe that hands down makes you want to keep coming back. The girl that helped us out was very kind even though we came an hour before they close and saw that they were getting ready to close the place down for the day. The wait wasn't bad at all, it actually gave me the peace to know they made us fresh food. I was able to use their restrooms and was blown away at how clean they keep them! That is just awesome. As our food was ready I wasn't sure what to expect but I will say this: One of the best sandwiches I've ever had hands down! I'm not exaggerating either.
