I heard people say it was good, and seen on random posts on my friends IG with pictures of delicious looking food. On my day off from work I wanted to try something new and I'm glad I did! Thankfully it was not extremely busy, so the young lady at the counter was able to help me with all my questions. I ordered the {Mediterranean Sandwich}; pretty sure that's what it was called. I came here for dinner quite hungry and was hoping to find vegan options on their menu. Sadly, all the "vegetarian" sandwiches had cheese or some kind of non-vegan dressing, and the salads all had chicken or cheese. So I was extremely grateful when the friendly counter person made recommendations and accommodated my wish to sub black beans and corn for cheese. I ended up with a delectably fresh and filling sandwich on focaccia stuffed with green leaf lettuce, tomatoes, artichokes, avocado, sundried tomatoes, and corn and black bean salsa sided with a lovely mandarin orange spring salad with balsamic vinaigrette. The lack of vegan menu options is the only reason I am not giving Urbane Cafe a 5-star review. It would be wonderful if they could update their menu in the near future and offer vegan cheese as an option. read more

I really love this place. I always get the Ahi tuna Salad because it is one of the only places where they give you what you pay for. I think it's like only $11 and their is a decent amount of ahi. On top of that the food is always fresh. Then there is the bread.. so so so good. I try to use them for catering at my office whenever I get the chance. Okay- so I normally like this place, but today I had the worst sandwich I've ever had. How do you mess up a sandwich!? We got the seasonal sandwich which is supposed to be a roasted chicken Mediterranean sandwich. Ummm, no. It's not roasted. It's cold and has the consistency of an extremely bland boiled chicken, sliced. It's supposed to have feta- where's the feta flavor? They aren't using feta cheese. It's supposed to have hummus, where's the hummus? It's like some old lady with zero tastebuds made this thing. It's dry, it's cold, it's bland, it's nasty. read more

Giving my 100% honest review. Salad was eh... But I had the southwest chipotle chicken sandwich and it was delicious!

Honestly this place was way more than I expected. I miss Baja Fresh and have resisted going here for whatever reason. I ordered the Protein salad with tri tip, a chocolate chip cookie and had their iced tea. I said it while I was there and I will say it again, best salad ever! The balsamic vinaigrette was tasty on the side as well. The tri tip didn't look super appetizing sitting in a little pile of moist cubes on top of the salad. While looks were certainly deceiving given that it tasted great, I prob wouldn't order the tri tip again as the presentation wasn't what I desired or expected. I really look forward to chicken next time. The bomb status of the salad was more because of 1. Everything that I like and nothing I didn't and 2. The great company across the table from me. All in all if I had to get a salad somewhere everyday it would be this salad from this place. Just delish! The chocolate chip cookie was awesome as well. Cookies are funny things and you would think you can't screw that up. Whatever recipe they have is one of the best fo sho. The tea was fresh and lively. Just an awesome meal gang all the way around. I had my reservations of their survival and still do as they are a little pricey but here is hoping they make it. read more

Stopped by here today for lunch. Had the Urban salad and my friend had the Cranberry Brie turkey sandwich. Both selections were fresh and tasty. Everything is made in front of you on the freshest bread ever. Oh, don't forget to get one or several fresh baked cookies. Went here for a quick lunch and I really enjoyed the service and the flexibility they offered when modifying my sandwich. I got the spicy BLAT with avocado on the side, subbed for regular lettuce, no tomato aioli added chipotle aioli, and added cheese, the finished product was delicious. I am always intrigued when a new restaurant opens in Temecula/Murrieta as for years I have traveled the 15 from SD to LA to visit my assorted children and estranged exes. As such, when Urbane Café was opened, I knew I had to use their bathroom and try their food too. If you'd like, stop reading my review now... because all you need to know is this place is EXCELLENT and you should get off your iPhone and take a trip to Urbane Café. Anyways, I've now came here four times in two weeks... I've had a COBB salad, the So Cal sandwich, the Pesto Chicken sandwich, and the Santa Fe sandwich.... all of which have been AWESOME. This place is clean, makes the food in front of you, has a friendly staff, plenty of seating, and the food is fresh and delicious. My doctor told me a while back to lay off the sweets because I was gaining weight faster than shit flows through a goose. Regardless, once in a bit I will disregard his requests... which I did at Urbane Café when I saw their cookies. They are TERRIFIC. Highly recommend them. Unless you're someone that hates fresh food, I'd venture to guess there's something on the menu here you will love. This place is a great staple to the Temecula valley and I'll most definitely be back. read more

I was next door at the Sprint store taking care of a crazy billing issue. I spent two hours in that store! In the meantime, the manager from this place walked in with bags of free food for the Sprint employees! I told the gentleman bringing the food in that I was impressed by this gesture and told him I have been to their Ventura location. I love their vegan menu items! A few minutes later, the same guy brought in a fully packed, gorgeous vegan salad! These kind gestures are so appreciated! I was thrilled to have a free lunch. It helped pass the time while in the Sprint store and hit the spot as I was getting hungry for lunch! The Sprint store doesn't let customers use their bathroom, so when I went next door, they were more than happy to let me use theirs! I can say from experience, I've been to the Ventura location and it was always one of my favorite spots in town. The food is fresh and delicious. You won't be disappointed! Holy smokes this place is awesome. Super good food and incredible staff. We were driving in from Orange County for pick up some wine and was just going to grab a quick sandwich from Panera. Saw this place right down the street on yelp and thought we would give it a try. All the sandwiches on the menu sounded super good and we went with the pesto sun-dried tomato and the green chili. Both were bomb and good portions of meat, greens, and other toppings. Side salad that comes with it was simple and tasty. We also got a soup of the day which was a Baja enchilada soup which was also really good. Had some great conversation with the manager at the time and seems like a great staff. This is a perfect place to grab a sando before some wine tasting or taking one to go and bringing it to one of the wineries and sit on the patio. Place was very clean and organized. Prices were extremely fair compared to other stores and thought it was a good value. We will be going back for sure. read more

I stopped going here because every time I try to order by phone they never pick up. I think that's kind of unprofessional for them to not pick up the phone. Most of the time I like to order ahead on my way home from work. Also when they do finally decide to take my order by phone, They always forget to pack our sauces for our sandwiches and salad. For a takeout and A quick lunch on the patio, this is a great place! First off, very friendly and welcoming when they take your order at the front desk. The selections are awesome. Very healthy choices. I got the Santa Fe salad and used the cilantro vinegarette instead of chipotle ranch. Very good. The chicken was real homemade chicken, not deli slices. It came up quickly and it I got my lunch fast. It came with. Good portion of focaccia bread on the side. The selection on the soda fountain/drink station is amazing. They have a craft sodas with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. Iced tea is delicious. It's a tropical flavor. What a pleasantly, healthy, alternative to the fast-food items that exist around Temecula! Urbane was not only clean and friendly but quick and gluten free! A family owned and California grown, according to their menu, they have a wide picking for vegetarians and healthy connoisseurs...of which 2017, I imagine, has procured more of. Not only was the fresh salad healthy and nicely prepared, but also tasted like I wanted my New Years resolution to taste...guilt free and ready for another visit! When I picked up my order of fresh greens, goat cheese, balsamic vinaigrette, chicken, fresh pears and warm focaccia bread, tossed with care in a great basket, the person behind the counter even complimented my shirt! Urbane Cafe has the best take out salad in Murrieta/Temecula, in my opinion. The Cafe Salad is delicious and comes with a piece of their focaccia bread.
