We ordered four different items, and not a single one disappointed--everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. 10/10 across the board! I ordered the áp chảo, thinking it would be soft, stir-fried rice noodles, but it actually came with deep-fried crispy noodles. Our server was so kind and took the time to explain it to us. Even better, they brought out an extra side of soft noodles for our daughters. Such a thoughtful gesture and truly appreciated! Our toddler ended up LOVING the crunchy noodles--and honestly, so did we! This was my first time having áp chảo this way, and it was surprisingly delicious. Definitely something I'll be craving again! The restaurant is also spacious, clean, and has plenty of comfortable seating, and the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. So had some issues before here but decided to try it again (cashier was rude!). First time visiting after swearing we wouldn't go, everything went smoothly. So I'll applaud them. But thinking about it now, it was probably because I ordered through the app, with no alterations to my order. Second time, the place reminded me why you shouldn't go there due to the people working there. Food is great don't get me wrong. But who they hire, that's a different story...so this instance we ordered online through the app again. Got two sandwiches and asked for a side of southwestern ranch, extra oranges in the salad, and extra corn in the sandwich. Not too hard right? On the app itself there is no option to ask for all that. So left it in the notes. Mind you I've done this before and picked up the food previously and it was fine. Well this time, the cashier seemed irritated and told my wife that there's an option to add all of our add ons. My wife, who didn't use the app, apologized. Well she tells me what happened and I was infuriated. Before you go on and lecture your customers, they should first be less condenscending, second do your research before you tell your customers what they can and can't do. The app does not give you those options that we wanted. It's sub this sub that. And no I'm not being cheap. I would gladly pay IF THEY HAD THE OPTION ON THE APP!!!!!! Seriously I'm done here. Every time I come into Urban Cafe, even after having the worst day imaginable and feeling like everything has gone wrong, Alex somehow reminds me that there's still good in the world. She greets me like an actual human being and always makes me feel welcomed. She's incredibly knowledgeable about everything they serve and always has great recommendations. She put me onto the BBQ Tri-Tip sandwich, and I've never looked back it's become my go-to every time I come in. Alex is genuinely kind, caring, and has such a big heart. Seriously, there's no tables available at around 2:30pm!!!??? We decided to order for TAKEOUT... ORANGE CHICKEN PLATE: 10/10 Wow! It's so crunchy and flavorful!! I usually don't even care for orange chicken but, this one was SO GOOD!!! Way better than Panda Express!!!! I want some more!!!! The chow mein was really good too!!! TERRIYAKI CHICKEN PLATE: 9/10 I'm not east to please when it comes to teriyaki chicken. There's just so many ways it can be made so badly. But, I was impressed with this one. It reminded me of the Yoshinoya teriyaki chicken minus the chicken skin. Their teriyaki sauce was on the watery side though... SERVICE: It was OK. Felt like rush hour the movie!! It was so busy that you will feel like another number unless you go there a lot then they'll recognize you and say hey buddy!!! It was our first time so we got crickets. Anyways, just go for the food and don't overthink too much about the service. We felt a bit out of place as ASIANS entering an ASIAN restaurant. As most of the customers were NON ASIANS!!! AMBIANCE: Asians should be nice to Asians right? It didn't always happen that way. Race doesn't matter it's about the personality and understanding... I UNDERSTAND CHINA ONE RESTAURANT!!!!!

My wife went in to order food to go, well one of the workers is out front of the restaurant smoking a cigarette not only blowing it back into the restaurant but after he finished I watched him walk right back to the kitchen and start cooking. Never washed his hand. Disgusting! So I work in tell them I don't want to eat their food and give me my money back. They all stair at me like I'm stupid and they guy continues to cook and never goes washed his hand. I can just imagine how dirty this place is....... Be careful eating here.
