CHIMICHURRI STEAK SANDWICH Amount of meat was on the skimpy side and the flavor was seriously lacking; I was also expecting the chimichurri flavor to stand out a bit more. SOUTHWEST CHICKEN SANDWICH By far the better of the two sandwiches that I've tried. Roasted chicken with corn, beans, avocado, pepper jack cheese, and chipotle aioli sauce. The chipotle aioli gave a nice kick and the cajun flavored chicken was moist and flavorful. Would definitely get this again. I have to mention that their foccaccia bread is amazing. I even bought an order of it to take home with me (ate it with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar, so damn good). Solid option when you want a quick quality lunch; I will definitely be back. Ever since Urbane Cafe came to Pasadena it has become my favorite restaurant. The Santa Maria BBQ salad is fantastic.They have a good selection of drinks, great iced tea,Dragon fruit, and lemon ade. As someone who eats out regularly, I have to say that the Urbane Cafe is one of the best restaurants in Pasadena. Along with being immaculate, the food is always fresh and the staff greets everyone in a friendly manner. Ben, the manager, has helped create a restaurant that has a very welcoming atmosphere, as well as serving healthy, food at a very reasonable price. During a meal yesterday, when my wife wasn't completely satisfied with the taste of her soup, Ben took the time to come to our table and discuss the ingredients of the different soups. A moment later, he returned with a fresh bowl of cheddar broccoli soup, which my wife loved. Although all the dishes have proven to be delicious, I highly recommend the Ahi Tuna Salad. My friend and I got take out from here while binge playing a video game and it was delicious! We used door dash and our food came in about 30 minutes, not too shabby! Unfortunately, my vegetarian friend got chicken in his 5 grain bowl, so more for me. We don't know if the error happened from door dash or from the restaurant, but my friend got his order reimbursed on door dash. The Urbane Cobb salad is delicious but nothing too special. I got it with Bleu cheese dressing and I enjoyed that the chicken was sliced thin. It satisfied my Cobb salad cravings (yes, I have those. Forgive me)! The next day, I took my friend's 5 grain bowl and it was way more awesome than I thought it would be! The barley and garbanzo beans add a nice amount of fat and filling. And of course the bread was fresh, warm and perfectly baked. The ahi tuna salads were amazing. I would eat one everyday if I could. Generous portions of ahi, teally tasteful dressing and the right combination of greens and other mix-ins. It's so pretty I was hesitant to take the first bite. I've been here at least 4 times for lunch and have been satisfied every time. Place is clean, inviting, nicely decorated and even has comfortable patio seating option for up to 4 people.
