Delicious new sandwich and salad place that opened right next to Mendocino farms. Their specialty is their fresh focaccia bread on all of their sandwiches. Tried the bbq tri tip and it was delicious. Nice and tender meat with melted cheese but a little oversauced. I also tried their chipotle chicken which was inferior to the bbq but much more of a refreshing and light flavor. I also love that every sandwich comes with a side salad. This place would have been 5 stars if their bread was just a little bit crispy and it would've put the sandwiches over the top. This is such a cute spot! I came in for lunch on Friday and it was definitely busy. They have a lot of good options on the menu. Everything seems fresh and the staff was helpful in recommending something. Parking in front can be crazy, since it's on a major street. There is a back lot that provides 90 minutes of free parking! Score. I came in wanting a salad. I love beets so I got excited when I saw the local beet salad on the menu. It was prepared fairly quickly and their house made bread was so good... to the point that I have to come back and get a sandwich soon! I am disappointed in the salad. There was 6-8 small cubed pieces of beets and four very thin slices of avocado. The honey mustard dressing did not compliment the salad at all. I did get a side of balsamic vinaigrette, which brought out better flavors. For the price, I did expect more. My boyfriend got a chicken sandwich which he loved! It does seem like some items on the menu are definitely better than others. However, I'm not against giving them another try and tasting their sandwiches. I wish they had it everyday Ahi salad: tasty miso dressing! The one thing that I didn't like however was that the Asian greens used had that bitter taste which I'm not a fan of. I've been here for lunch and early dinner and so far I've tried the chimichurri steak and the southwest chicken. CHIMICHURRI STEAK SANDWICH Amount of meat was on the skimpy side and the flavor was seriously lacking; I was also expecting the chimichurri flavor to stand out a bit more. SOUTHWEST CHICKEN SANDWICH By far the better of the two sandwiches that I've tried. Roasted chicken with corn, beans, avocado, pepper jack cheese, and chipotle aioli sauce. The chipotle aioli gave a nice kick and the cajun flavored chicken was moist and flavorful. Would definitely get this again. I have to mention that their foccaccia bread is amazing. I even bought an order of it to take home with me (ate it with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar, so damn good). Solid option when you want a quick quality lunch; I will definitely be back. Ben, the manager, has helped create a restaurant that has a very welcoming atmosphere, as well as serving healthy, food at a very reasonable price. During a meal yesterday, when my wife wasn't completely satisfied with the taste of her soup, Ben took the time to come to our table and discuss the ingredients of the different soups. A moment later, he returned with a fresh bowl of cheddar broccoli soup, which my wife loved. Although all the dishes have proven to be delicious, I highly recommend the Ahi Tuna Salad. My friend and I got take out from here while binge playing a video game and it was delicious! We used door dash and our food came in about 30 minutes, not too shabby! Unfortunately, my vegetarian friend got chicken in his 5 grain bowl, so more for me. We don't know if the error happened from door dash or from the restaurant, but my friend got his order reimbursed on door dash. The Urbane Cobb salad is delicious but nothing too special. I got it with Bleu cheese dressing and I enjoyed that the chicken was sliced thin. It satisfied my Cobb salad cravings (yes, I have those. Forgive me)!
