I've been getting glasses there for around 8 years. I have some sunglasses that I got from them ~6 years ago that seem better than my current prescription just because the lenses are SO much better (and my eyes get worse every year). They have options for lenses my eye drs office has never heard of. I made the mistake of getting my recent glasses online to save money- the focal point is on the wrong place and it's just not worth it. They also have the most amazing selection of frames high quality frames you can't get anywhere else. They can replace lenses in my grandmothers designer vintage frames. Most importantly, they are the most helpful, competent, kind, and lovely people. My eye dr made a huge mistake while I'm in a giant, very stressful, crunch to move states for my dream job- Lynn has gone above and beyond to explain all the ins and outs of starting progressives vs computer glasses vs work glasses. I'm a welder/designer/artist so I also do lots of computer work and that means 4 pairs of glasses. (Which is a lot, and stressful, when you haven't been able to get a job for years and have all the costs associated with moving. Which they've been willing to work with me on. I was not expecting that.) She recommended a Dr to get into see quickly for a second opinion and also assured me that the lenses are all under warranty so even if I move and need to mail them back to fix it they will make sure I get the correct lenses that I like. I've had multiple non elective eye surgeries. My migraines go nuts if my prescription isn't right. Bad blue light protection makes me feel uncomfortable. (You can't tell there's blue light protection on these at ALL.) None of this worried them- it made them want to help me get into good lenses and take care of my eyes. You only get one pair of eyes. I don't think it's worth risking them for cheap online glasses. It's also not worth the risk of losing local shops like this one. We only get one world. I agree with what they told me - we should all be trying to be kind and take care of each other, right now. Really, I don't think I'll ever buy a pair of glasses from anywhere else, ever, because it's better for my eyes and it's better for PEOPLE. My family lives in Phoneix so I fully plan to fly back and get new lenses/frames when needed. I want a world with more people and businesses like Sassy Glasses. This is a very stressful time for me and they've done more than anyone to make it all feel doable and to go above and beyond on my very short time line. (When I'm sure I'm a huge pain to deal with because I'm so stressed, too.) I cannot overstate how thankful I am for them and for their excellent customer service, quality product and attention to detail. When I get my glasses back I'll post pictures.

I…read morecannot say enough good about the attention and caring the staff at CPEC provided to my adult son recently. Sadly, my son has suffered with mental illness for the past 11 years; the illness rendered him homeless over the past two years, resulting to his landing in Phoenix. In June, my son contacted me and let me know he was receiving help for his illness. And, in late July, I had the opportunity to travel to out to Phoenix from Dallas, to see my him and make a best effort to get him some of the things he was in desperate need of. Since my son had been without his eyeglasses since January and since he has always had a very strong eyeglasses prescription, being effectively blind and only seeing blurry images beyond about eight inches in front of his face, that which he needed most was eyeglasses! Because my son's prescription is so strong and because of his apparent mental incapacity, I did not want to take him to a store like America's Best or Lenscrafters, because I believed he warranted an extra level of attention, to achieve the best possible outcome. Well, after a little bit of reading reviews on Yelp* and weighing all options, I decided to give CPEC a call. Since I was only going to be in Phoenix for three days, I was elated when I was told that CPEC had an available appointment the following day. My son and I arrived on-time and were promptly greeted and given the necessary "new patient" forms. While I filled out the forms for my son, he was called to be seen. I was graciously invited to accompany him during the process. The examination technician who saw my son, was friendly and communicative, and when it became necessary for the technician to physically force my son's head and eyeball to be on the exact point it needed to be, in order to achieve the correct imagery, she showed compassion and gentleness in both her tone and touch. Next, my son was examined by Dr. Kelsey Harraghy. Dr. Harraghy above all, was equally compassionate and thorough! She was patient and attentive and, made me feel that my son was in the best of care. Her tone was gentle and caring and her bedside manner impeccable! Dr. Harraghy not only showed sincerity in ensuring my son's prescription was as exact as possible, but she also went the extra mile to find a contacts prescription that would work to give my son eyesight, until his eyeglasses order was completed and ready for pickup. The impact of Dr. Harraghy's caring cannot be overstated and it became apparent when my son placed the contacts in - having his sight restored after seeing only blurry for the previous six plus months - and his countenance as he observed himself in the mirror changed to one of an almost angelic quality. He appeared genuinely childlike and mesmerized at his ability to once again see. Thank you, Dr. Harraghy!! We then sat down to place the order for my son's glasses. Everything was presented with patience and caring and in a very low-pressure manner. From beginning to end, start to finish, CPEC took excellent care to ensure my son was made to feel appreciated and genuinely cared for. I am sincerely grateful for the staff at CPEC for showing my son and I the very best of humanity and kindness. Thank you, CPEC Staff!! I cannot recommend CPEC highly enough. If you are in need of eyecare, you may without hesitation or reservation be comfortable with your decision to visit CPEC. You will not be disappointed! I assure you!! Live Well. Be Well. Cheers!

Only to feel as if I was interrupting a personal conversation with the two workers who were having a conversation. My script in hand I explained my purpose of stopping in. As I roamed the store no one offered to help me including the sales person. Found 3 pairs and asked for an estimate and was told well it depends on your prescription and any additional add ons. I was baffled of course I would know that. Long story short I was asked for my insurance and they would be right with me. Only to have two walk in people pick up their glasses to be helped while I waited so I decided to walk out. I work in service and am baffled with the level of lack of professional. I will not return.
