He came out, charged me several hundred dollars and told me that he unclogged the line and also ran a camera down it and told me that my main drain line had nothing wrong with it. At the time I believed him, but come to find out later that there is no way that he could have ran a camera down my drain line because I didn't have a clean out for him to enter through. Plus my sewer line had completely collapsed so there was no way that he ran a camera down otherwise he would've seen that the line was collapsed and had roots growing it it. He wouldn't have been able to run the camera line all the way down it because it was collapsed right after it comes out of my house. He said the entire drain line was fine! The other issue he was supposed to fix was a problem Under my kitchen sink- under the house and with the clean out to the side of the house. The clean out was inaccessible bc it was painted over so many times by past owner. So he was supposed to fix the plumbing problem under the sink and replace the clean out as well. Well, he put a new clean out in but he did such a terrible job That the glue or mortar that he used completely sealed up the clean out and it couldn't be accessed. My new plumber had to fix that. He also tried to charge me way more than his quote, and when he gave me the bill, he was charging me for time that he wasn't even here when he and his guys took a lunch break and other time as well that they were not even present at my home. Then Alex threatened me in my home when I asked about the incorrect billing. He demanded I pay him the exact amount he wanted from me right then without any itemized bill at all. He told me if he gave me an itemized bill he was going to charge me even more. He told me if I didn't pay him right then and without an itemized bill, he would go under my house, and rip out all of my plumbing lines. I got him out of my house first and then stood my ground on needing an itemized written bill. I don't know how Alex came to me recommended or how he has so many good reviews. I had another plumber out because I was still having issues and I have all sorts of pictures that show he lied and did not do what he was supposed to. Do yourself a favor and have nothing to do with this Plumber.

He quickly suggested I contact the manufacturer and take advantage of their lifetime warranty. I did and they agreed to send me replacement handles. That was an immediate cost saving measure. When Michael came to my home the next day, he proceeded to unclog three sinks, and improve the water flow in the three connected faucets. He also conveyed some valuable household plumbing information that should prove beneficial going forward. All of these services were provided at a reasonable price. Six pretty good sized men showing up at one woman's house is definitely overkill. Six men showing up at your house would be scary to some women!!! It's surely NOT wise!!! Some of these guys could have sat in one of their trucks instead of just standing around. Anyway, 2 of the fellas - evidently worker bees - went under my house while everyone else stood around. They looked around, & saw the how the previous plumber had blocked my access to the rest of the plumbing & came out to tell their bosses. They told the Main Boss how all my plumbing was PVC pipe. He made it very plain that he wasn't pleased to hear that. He said that he doesn't like working with PVC. Maybe he doesn't do drain lines. I explained to him that I needed that one drainage line moved (rerouted,) so that it didn't block my path & I wanted the water lines wrapped for the Winter, so they wouldn't freeze. I don't think I told them that I needed the drainage lines strapped up which is another thing the previous plumber failed to do. Anyway, they didn't want to dig under the line that was blocking the access to see the rest of the plumbing behind it, so they really couldn't give me a real estimate, but the head guy said they'd do the work. I wasn't impressed! I don't do half or maybe estimates, or just hire folks NOT knowing what all is involved & how much money I am going to spend!!! So, no thank you, K&K!!!
