I do want to say that I appreciate the effort involved in replacing our main sewer line and…read morerecognize that was a significant repair. That said, I do want to express my dissatisfaction with aspects of the project execution. My understanding per the contract and my discussion with Baker Bros, was that the project would take 2 days and included restoration of the yard, with existing grass being replaced where possible and sod being installed in areas where the original grass could not be salvaged. Instead the project extended from last Thursday through Friday of the next week, which was substantially longer than anticipated. Although the plumbing was complete, the backfill, and yard restoration was not. Ultimately, I'm disappointed with the condition in which the yard was left. While I understand excavation work will inevitably impact the appearance of the lawn, I expected the restoration work to be performed with greater care and attention to detail. Some of the sod had been laid over each other or over existing grass rather than being properly cut and fitted into areas where replacement was actually needed. My expectation was never that the yard would look exactly as it did before the repair. However, I did expect the restoration efforts to reflect the same level of professionalism as the sewer line replacement itself. For example, on the first day of yard restoration after I had chatted with a Baker Bros Service Plumber about the yard, who I am assuming to be the general foreman of the 3rd party restoration crew, showed up to my home and I walked out to a group of around 8 men, and he stated, "my boss said you have a problem". But I would've expected Baker Bros to come out to check on the status of 3rd party contracted work. I've used baker bros since we bought our home over 3 years ago and have always had positive experiences; however, this piece was not a great one.

I called Baker Brothers to come check it out as I had a similar problem 3 years prior and they fixed it. Was told that it was free for them to come out and give me an estimate. I needed to know if it was on my side of the meter or the cities side. A nice gentlemen came out and confirmed there was a leak, because it was wet around the meter, but it was going to be $200 to dig it up and get an estimate. Yeah, I know there's a leak, that's why I called you, and was told that it would be a free estimate. Don't bother. He gave me his best repair estimate of ~$900 without seeing it further. Which annoyed me even more since the last time they fixed it was $2K. Why is it half the price now? I opened up meter cover myself, and it was glaringly obvious where the leak was, as you could clearly see it 2 inches from the meter on the city side. I'm not even sure that the guy opened up the meter cover as I don't know how he could have missed it if my uneducated eyes could see it so clearly. I would have paid Baker Brothers $200 for literally nothing but to tear up my yard if I had gone through with it. And now I'm convinced that I was taken to the cleaner last time they repaired my line. Will be calling local privately owned businesses from now on. Lesson learned.

Despite paying for their "preferred member" plan and 24/7 emergency service, we were left waiting all night with toxic fumes in our home and never received a single call or text back. Another company arrived in 15 minutes, documented multiple code violations in Reliant's work, and confirmed the installation was done incorrectly from the start. They advised us to go back to Reliant since the work should have been covered under warranty. Over the next few months, Reliant scheduled multiple appointments - and every single time we were left sitting at home for hours with no calls, no updates, and no one ever showing up. My husband and I took off work multiple times, moved nap schedules around for our kids, rearranged our entire day - only to find out about cancellations after we called them ourselves. Most recently, we were told Dallas "isn't a priority market," which explains the constant no-shows and excuses. Reliant's lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism has been staggering. We've spent thousands, lost countless hours, and months later still don't have a fully functioning bathroom. Their "24/7 emergency service" and "preferred member" plan are nothing but empty advertising. Learn from our mistakes: read the recent reviews and take them seriously. DO NOT trust Reliant with your home. And to Reliant - please save the copy-paste Google reply. What you need to do is have your manager pick up the phone and finally call us back.

They mentioned that it would mostly be a loose threading or dried plumber's putty and wouldn't charge extra for such a small fix. I was then told that the P-trap is damaged at the cost of fixing it would be additional $480 (after adjusting the $129). They mentioned that it would take a 2+ hour labor and the parts were expensive (something called a P-Trap needs to be replaced). I believed them and went ahead. All they did was replace a PVC pipe piece and the drain plug and the job was done in less than 30 mins. They came back a couple of times to flip the drain plug as they messed up on the right color (was supposed to be oil rubbed bronze and they got chrome). I don't like people who manipulate you this way and would advise to stay away.

On the first job we had a leak behind our washer and they said they would need to cut the drywall and replace the box. On the day of the repair, the technician said he was going to see if he could fix it without cutting my drywall. He worked on it for what seemed about an hour before he finally came and said he was sorry but would have to replace the box anyway. The second job was replacing a bathtub faucet that the lines underneath had become corroded. The cold water only trickled. They did an excellent job all around. We had one technician. He was very respectful. Arrived when he said, and did the jobs in a timely manner.

Went through AHS. 1st guy that came out was late all 3 times he came. Danny came right on time and did a great job. 1st guy came out and supposedly fixed them but both were leaking and one was making an awful noise. Lady on the phone I believe her name is Ashley was unhelpful from the moment I called to have the guy come back out. Had to jump through a bunch of hoops to get them back out. Guy shows up late again says parts have to be ordered and he will next day mail them. Parts don't show up. I call after a week asking where the parts are. Lady on the phone lied and said parts were ordered and was very rude everytime I called. She kept saying someone will call me back. None ever called me back. Then she lies again and said my voice mail was full. Never had a missed call and my voice mail is not full. She said it can take up to 12 business days. I called on day 13 she again lies and says a manager will call me back. I got AHS involved and finally they said the parts will be picked up. Ummm why didn't they do that to begin with?!?! The lady on the phone needs a class in customer service.
