After rejecting that he tells me for nearly $400 he would diagnose/troubleshoot the water heater but not perform any labor. Labor and parts would cost extra. THE LABOR!!!! Isn't that what the $400 is for? But the kicker was, without touching my heater, he offered to replace it for $6800! Their costs on a new unit is $1300. So that's $5500 in labor for replacing it with a unit that fits in the exact same footprint!!! Buyer Beware!!!!

They were very accommodating to my schedule and we picked a good time. The technician arrived within the scheduled window and called 25 minutes ahead to let me know he's coming. The technician was very polite and courteous. I was extremely impressed with how quickly he completed the work. It took 15 minutes from the time he arrived to the time he left. He diagnosed the issue, turned off the water to the house, drained the lines, replaced an old worn out shut off valve behind the toilet, replaced a leaky fill valve inside the toilet, turned all the water back on, and checked everything. I was very amazing how he did all of this in just 15 minutes. He obviously knew what he was doing. Overall I'm extremely pleased with my both my calls to Blue Star Plumbing.
