Three guys arrived and where very pleasant, one pulled out a monkey wrench, and in less than 2 minutes had my issue fixed. He very gracious said he wouldn't charge me a service fee but then turned around and charged me a $150 tool fee. That must have been some magical monkey wrench. I had a coupon too. That was $150 with a coupon. I have had some other issues with plumbing recently and have found some plumbers do not charge service fees or tool fees. They will give you quotes for service and not up-charge you like crazy. Do your research...ask for any hidden fees. Every plumber I have talked to I now ask, do you have a "tool fee" before scheduling and most of them don't even know what I'm talking about.

I also had them look at my sink disposal and two toilets. They provided good advice about the condition of a water valve on one toilet and after discussing price options, I decided to get the toilet pumps updated. Overall, they took just over an hour for all the repairs and then explained everything they completed by taking me on a "tour" of the repairs until I was satisfied. Mother Modern Plumbing will be the only plumbing service that I'll ever call again. I had been dealing with a shower and washing machine drain stoppage for a while. All other drains were fine and nothing I tried was working to clear the blocked shower and washer drain. This experience with Mother Modern Plumbing was as perfect as it gets. The first thing I noticed when I called was a quality of true kindness.. Gabby took that call and she was great. Even with my complicated schedule this week (medical appointments) she managed to work me into their schedule. She was absolutely excellent. And each of their team members that I spoke with, also had that same quality of kindness. Just genuine NICE people. Willie came over to clear the drain problem and he's an awesome guy. He figured out immediately the best approach to get the clog out. And he showed me the images with a special camera down in the drain. He's by far the most considerate person I've ever had over here. My two dogs were especially bad and barked terrible at him.. and he remained calm, relaxed and pleasant. He even saved one of them out in the street because I had left the gate open.
