The price quote ended up being a great value. The two guys that arrived were friendly and professional. Just nice guys. They got to work right away, and were done in about an hour. Included in the valve replacement cost, they excavated and replaced the old and inadequate builder-installed utility box with a much better one. They substantially elevated the water pipe junction to ensure it remains easy to access in the future, installed an additional water shut-off valve, and added pea gravel for drainage.
