Before we had O'Bryan out, we had another well known major plumbing company out to examine a drainage/sewage line issue. The estimate was very wrong and insanely expensive. Aaron came out and was the consummate professional. On Sunday our toilet started to back up and simultaneously our shower drain as well. I was able to call O'Bryan on Monday later morning and they had next day availability and said they would let me know if something became available later that day (which didn't happen but good to know they offered and tried to accommodate) Reece and his partner arrived ahead of our scheduled time (with notice provided) and diligently and respectfully listened and investigated the situation. They thoroughly looked around the house for the least invasive entry points and started to work. After a few tries they were able to diagnose and remove the blockage on our line! Everything was looking great and I thought we were near the end but during the last round of checks the toilet started to overflow again. So Reece and his partner went back to work; and started inspecting the toilet, reran their auger, even took the toilet apart to check the seal, and discovered a small tag had somehow choked off the toilet during the initial checks! After about two hours of work they were able to fix everything and left our place in pristine order. If Reece is an indication of O'Bryan's character I'd hire them over and over. read more

I used the BBB rating of A+ and Yelp Reviews to select O'Byran plumbing. I am 67 years old and always want to get a great deal but more so I want a fair price and quality service. I got great work and both Reece and Mark were smart and worked hard. They knew how to communicate and took care in their work. I had a lot of work done and much of the cost was related to cutting out dated pipes out and re-plumbing. Not a small job. 5 different projects that were all done well. I do not do a lot of reviews but this company does it right. I was able to buy my own fixtures and they installed them. They cleaned up and I would use them again. I originally called because I had a small gas leak in a patio fireplace, a toilet with a leak, a toilet with a bad float valve, and was considering adding a gas line for my natural gas grill. O'Bryan Plumbing was out shortly after I put my request in on Yelp, and did a great job determining the issues and getting everything fixed. They also helped me identify the location of a gas line for my grill, as I had recently moved in and wasn't completely familiar with where everything was located - saving me from the costly add of a gas line. Two nice people showed up and evaluated the situation and considered it a leak on the house side of the main exterior shutoff. I thought their estimate was a bit too high so I rejected it and paid for the estimate. They are correct in the location of the leak so I will probably expose the pipe and see if it is in the concrete or not. Then I might call them back. They did everything they said ahead of schedule and provided an estimate. Very good people but plumbers are just getting too expensive, so maybe I will be my own plumber. read more

This is a follow-up to an original negative review that I posted just this morning. I had called for some work to be done which turned out not to be scheduled due to some miscommunication. Only a few hours later I received a call from the owner of a company who was very concerned about the quality of information communicated. He was more than willing to send someone out to look at whatever the plumbing issue was and address it in anyway possible. Since my original phone call with the company I found someone else who was able to come out today and do the work. I had O'Bryan come out to help with a gas water heater that wouldn't stay lit. After trying to tell me the wind probably blew it out (highly unlikely since it sits in a furnace closet in the middle of the house interior), they got it lit. When asked what I do if it goes out again, the technician said it might be the gas valve unit and that I should call the manufacturer and order it myself since it takes a long time to get through to them and O'Bryan would charge me for the time Rheem keeps them on hold. Seriously? It went out again, of course, so I found the company that originally installed the water heater and had them do the work ... for 30% less than O'Bryan quoted and I didn't have to find the part myself. read more

Had O'bryan fix my leaking toilet that others and myself have been trying for the fourth time to no avail. Their rep, Aaron was excellent and quickly notice my toilet had a hairline fracture which was the cause of the leak. No one else had caught this. He also noticed my hot water heater ws well over 10 years old and I should consider replacement. He checked the tank and coils and noticed (and showed me) the extensive hard water / lime deposit which was definitely causing my water to not heat well - always took forever to get hot. He replaced the toilet and hot water heater within a couple of hors with all new equipment - water lines, drain pan, overflow line within only a couple of hours. Excellent work, very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Excellent company and people. Plan to stay with them and would certainly recommend them to everyone. I respect a trip charge if I decide not to use the service but to tack on a separate fee that large even if I choose to have the work done is a ripoff and there should be laws against this. Bobby did a spectalular job in my home. I have had two other companies come out to see why we did not have a strong water stream out of our faucet in the tub and neither was able to identify or fix the issue. Bobby came out and looked at it and in 5 seconds said it was the filter. Access to the filter was difficult due to 30 years worth of corrosion so he had to remove tiles to replace the system. He did a great job and explained the process and why. Finally works like it did when we purchased the house new. Bobby was insightful, confident and extremely polite and respectful.
