UPDATE: 11/6/25 We recently had another unexpected plumbing emergency, and once again Michael's Master Plumbing provided excellent service. Michael quickly got us on the schedule, and Dillon came out shortly after. He promptly assessed the issue, fixed it efficiently, and explained how it likely happened along with helpful steps to prevent it from recurring. Dillon is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. He's also courteous, patient, and communicates clearly - making sure we understood everything before he left. Not only did he provide excellent service, but he also took the time to leave the work area clean and tidy, which we really appreciated. We continue to be impressed with the reliability, expertise, and overall quality of service from Michael's Master Plumbing. Call Michael for all of your plumbing needs. You will not be disappointed! read more

FALSE PROMISES AND IMMATURITY I called Michael this Tuesday discussing how worried I was about another plumber costing me too much due to their being recommended by a foundation company. I described the situation and he agreed that a scam could be possible and he said he'd show up on Thursday at 9am. I felt so at ease after talking to him, however 9am a guy showed up who didn't know what he was even there for who wasn't Michael, telling us Michael himself had forgotten what he was requested for. So the guy left, I called Michael again after some hours, asking him what he could do, since he had promised he'd fix the situation on Thursday. Over the phone he was incredibly considerate, apologized for the guy not helping, said he'd come over later and asked us to send what the other plumbing company had sent. We covered the quoted price from the other plumbing company and he accused us of not trusting him? Then pulled back and wasted our time since we had taken off of work for him that day. Nothing was fixed, incredibly reassuring over the phone, if he could have just shown up as well as he talked we would have been happy. Just felt he was inconsiderate, then accused us of lying? If you overpromised just say that next time, incredibly immature. Disappointed to even write this review... read more

Michael and team provide quality, timely and reasonably-priced service for all your plumbing needs. They have done what I would consider a tremendous amount of work from completing all the plumbing work for our bathroom remodel to most recently having to replace the steel straps for the sewer line underneath our home to eliminate a belly in the line. They are a fantastic, professional team to work with and I will not use anyone else! read more

Michael's Master Plumbing (Matt & Dillon) came to my home yesterday to install a new toilet, but unfortunately when they opened the box from Lowes the tank was cracked. They moved the boxes near my front door for me so I could easily slide out for pick-up in three days and Matt was able to adjust the water level of my current toilet and it seems to be working fine now. I've been using them for years and have never been disappointed. read more

I had multiple issues going on at my home. A leaking water heater costing me a high water bill and a couple of leaking pipes. Price was very fair and service was good. I particularly liked working with Philip as he provided advice and guidance. read more

We called Michael's Master Plumbing to repair our leaky hose bibs. Chase adjusted his schedule to be able to come the next day before the rain and fix them both. He did a great job. This has been a typical experience for us when using Michael's. They have run gas from our fireplace to our kitchen so I could have a gas stove and have reset a commode for us when the remodel contractor did not set it correctly after two attempts. Their prices have been fair; their service prompt and reliable. read more

We have used Michael's Master Plumbing several times the last several years. They have always come out and performed a first-class job. We have had them do tub drain repairs, sink faucet installs, and numerous water valve installs. All at a good price. Michael even came out and got our water heater back to working right after I called. These are our go-to plumbers here in Allen. read more

I've hired them for years for all my plumbing work. I don't even bother calling anyone else. Their prices are reasonable and they are trustworthy; won't overcharge or upcharge you. I've had them replace toilets, install sinks, and replace spigots. Michael even gave me some advice and checked on a few things for me during my renovation without me soliciting his opinion for help. I could tell he cares deeply about his customers and business reputation. read more

Price was competitive and the tech was extremely courteous. As a senior, don't see that very often. The best thing was they cleaned up their mess and left nothing for me to do. read more

Great responsive service with excellent techs like Matt. Highly recommend this trusted organization!

Had a pressure relief valve installed and the service and expertise of Michael's Master plumbing team was indeed worth 5 stars! Michael (the owner) is not only knowledgable in his field of work , but also a good man...a rare find these days! read more

We previously used Michael's plumbing on 2 occasions and had a great experience but this changed dramatically with our most recent (3rd) interaction last month. We had a very simple repair completed on our outside faucet that was leaking slightly when used and were were charged the same amount as an emergency visit last year when we had a broken pipe and a flooded house and had agreed to pay a premium for an emergency visit. They were at our house almost immediately. Cost was approximately $270 which was fair. For the simple repair last month, which literally took 15 minutes, we were charged the same amount as the emergency visit. We asked for a breakdown of the charges thinking there was a mistake. The owner refused to provide a breakdown and said this was their minimum charge. No give, discussion, or attempt to explain. I am floored. read more

Hi. Michael, the owner of Michael's Master Plumbing in Allen, came by this morning to fix my toilet. He was prompt and pleasant, did a great job, and was very reasonable. I found him on Nextdoor, and it's a blessing to me. His number is 469-925-8080. Please let him know I recommended him to you. There is no incentive for me if you do. I just want Michael to know how much I appreciate him. All but a few of his reviews are excellent. Some people are not happy, no matter what you do. I can't imagine anyone being less than satisfied with his work and communication. Have a great day. read more

Customer service ... completely uninterested in your situation. If available he will Help you out . If busy he could give a shit

Initially used Michael's Master Plumbing in October 0f 2023. Had a water heater that was working fine but it was entering the "I wonder when it will go out" phase. Knowing when it happens I would be seeing water coming through the ceiling and no doubt it would be during a holiday with house full of guest. Checked the reviews and called Michael. They quoted a price, gave me a date and time they could do it. What a pleasant surpize when they showed up on the date and time they said they would; did great job installing and cleaning up; price was as they had quoted. This week had an outside faucet that would not shut off. Called Michael's they again quoted a price, a time and date. Did work as stated at the price they stated. What a pleasure to work with professionals who obviously care about the realtionship with their customer. read more

Great service as always. We have used them since we had to change plumbers (more than 5 years ago). Unlike those previous plumbers, we have never needed to have them come back to fix an issue with their work (although they have helped me fix other plumber's work). read more

I do not recommend Michael's Master Plumbing!!! I had a leak in the main waterline going to my house. I followed the recommendations on this page and called Michael's. Well it's several months later and the concrete patch across my driveway they filled after the repair was completed, is now sinking. I contacted Michael's and he informed me that he came out to look at it, talked to his concrete contractor and concluded it was my driveway causing the problem and not the repair. While he said there is rebar in it and I'm sure there is, the repair wasn't tied into the existing driveway. Now the patch is sinking and cracking. I reached out to Michael's to get the permit number and inspectors name and he won't answer me. He won't meet with me. He won't respond to me at all. He said it was inspected by the city, so what's the problem? Needless to say I will be having to get this replaced soon before I have more issues with the driveway. It's probably not worth it to go after him in court, so I'm writing this on this page so others might be aware and cautious of using this vendor. I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Michael's Master Plumbing never fixed this problem nor did they ever stand up for their contractors work. I had a friend in highway construction help me fix it at my own cost, and it turns out that the contractor Michael's Master Plumbing used did not set the cross pieces of rebar connected to the rest of the driveway in far enough. They set them in less than 3/4 inch on each side. My friend told me that it was just enough to fool an inspector, but not enough to support the concrete in the driveway. It was a crap job that Michael's Master Plumbing subcontracted and when there was an issue, they were not ready to accept responsibility and ran away. I don't know about you but standing behind your work and being responsible is what should be expected. Again don't use this company or you may be sorry like I was. read more

This company is BEYOND THE BEST EVER!!! Freely share info and always always responsive - always fix the problem and do new installs too. They always call back-always show up when they say they will and can handle anything you throw at them. Fair pricing as well. They don't advertise and work by word of mouth. I won't let anyone else touch my place. read more

We were in the process of selling our home and the inspector said he thought he could smell gas. We found out at 7 PM and I quickly called Michael's Master Plumbing at 8:00 PM. Within 30 minutes, Michael had responded letting us know they would be there the next day at lunch time. Michael's guys showed up on time and were quickly able to identify that there was no gas leak. I was incredibly grateful and impressed by the quick service and professionalism they all exhibited. Not only that, but they would not accept any payment for their time, no matter how much I tried. Any time we ever have any sort of plumbing issues (we will be staying in the Allen/McKinney area), I will always call Michael and his team from here on out. What a great company and true professionals! read more

Michael was awesome. He react quick at my service and was able to fix my problem within 2 hrs si ce I called him. He was very nice to work with and even give me many advises. At the end the cost was less of what he originally estimates. Very honest person Thanks Michael!!!! read more

Prayers were answered. What an archangel Michael is! We had an emergency and Michael answered his phone at 7:46am in the morning. He sent Matt and Justin who were so pleasant, knowledgeable, and competent. They unclogged the sewer line post haste and answered all our questions. Their price was also quite fair. There are no words to explain our appreciation for these Earth Angels. Highly recommend! read more

Absolutely horrible and frustrating experience. Spoke with Michael over the phone a week ago and explained i wanted to get two leaky faucets fixed, install a new water filter under kitchen sink, and install a new water heater. He asked me to txt him some faucet pictures and he would txt me an estimate. I received the txt with the estimate but when I tried to call him back to book a date, my calls mysteriously/suddenly went to his voicemail. I sent him a couple of txt messages but no reply. I tried calling the following day at different times but same problem - my call goes straight to voicemail. I called from a different phone number and he picked up instantly. I brushed off the initial red flag and booked an appointment. Txted him my address and asked for a confirmation. He Ignored subsequent txt messages and voicemails for things as simple as scheduling and confirming the appointment is still on schedule. The day of the appointment he was a no-show and company wasted my entire day. When I called to find out what was going on, my call continued to mysteriously/suddenly go to voicemail. When he finally responded (apparently I had to call from yet a different phone number that he didn't recognize), he responded instantly and said he would call me back in 10min to confirm the new scheduling. Never called back. If you don't want someone's business or discriminate against people because of their perceived ethnicity from their voice over the phone or any other irrational dimension that you can glean from talking 5 minutes to someone over the phone (really sad mindset for this day and age), at least just say you're not interested in their business or say you're too busy or whatever - no need to waste people's time. Their unprofessionalism has now delayed my plumbing repairs by at least one week. read more

Following my initial review the business owner sent a reply that included the following verbatim: "Michael's Master Plumbing Response from the owner This was a mis-communication issue on our end which we apologize for / a customer who would leave a negative review without talking to us is our good fortune as to his weak personality..." The remainder was cutoff and i couldn't read it. This is no way to run a business. What the owner leaves out is that after he hung up on me I immediately called back and left a voice mail complaining about what happened and requesting that somebody call me back or else I would post a negative review. No one called back. This morning my wife called attempting to smooth things over and the owner denied the facts about what happened and complained that I posted a negative review. Then I called and left a voice mail stating it was silly to prolong this unfortunate misunderstanding and that if he called me back I would edit the review to be 5 stars just based on the previous outstanding work he had done for us. Instead of calling me (i.e. a loyal returning customer) back and accepting the olive branch I had offered, he instead sends a reply personally insulting me. I will refrain from posting a personal insult of my own as a reply. Instead I will let the owner's actions speak for themselves. My offer still stands, however, and I will gladly edit this review accordingly and remove any negative information if the owner decides to contact me. read more

I called Michael's to see if he could fix my kitchen faucet. We talked and he told me to pick out a new faucet and he would be able to install. I realized I did not need a new faucet but could order the parts needed for the repair. He told me to take a picture of my faucet and the parts and text him once they arrived. I sent the text and received no response. I called him the next day and he said he would go back to the office and check out my pictures and call me back within the hour. This was odd because I sent the pics to the number I was talking to him. Regardless, he never called me back. read more

Ontime professional friendly. No pressure to upsell any services. I will use this company any time and recommend them without reservation

I've actually called Michael's Master Plumbing twice, and both experiences were great. We've gone through other plumbers before but Michael's is the best. Honest, friendly, and on time. Pricing is also very fair. The first time we worked with the company was when we had a backed up water line, which came at the worst time as we were expecting visitors that day. We called early in the morning and they came within an hour. The job took the entire day as digging and replacing were involved, on top of it being in the middle of August. They did the job well and we've haven't had problems since. The most recent service we've had was an issue with our kitchen sink. Again, they visited on the same day we called and fixed the issue in less than an hour. Overall, we were very pleased with their work. On top of that, these guys were super friendly and nice to talk to, honest and clear about the job being done, and pricing was fair. I will only go to these guys for plumbing jobs for my house. Thanks! read more

Philip @ Michael's Master Plumbing is the best! We had two brand new water heaters installed right before Christmas. We chose Michael's as we felt like they walked us through our options and guaranteed that they would be a phone call away if we ever needed anything. We loved the professionalism when we had them put in and could have given them 5 stars just for that but as many now the recent weather tested us all and we had an issue with one of the water heaters. They came right out and although a part had to be ordered Philip made sure we had a set up for the time being. The customer service is the best and we will use Michael's plumbing for all of our future needs! read more

We have been continuously impressed with Michael's Master Plumbing. They are always prompt, courteous, fair and very honest. We have used them at our home and at my mother's home. They will never charge for something that you do not need. Today I had them out for an outdoor spigot that was not working. Turned out it was something we could fix ourselves. He told us where we could get the part and did not charge for the stop. This is why we will never use another plumber, regardless of whether the job is big or small. They are truly an anomaly in the plumbing world. read more
