Got a call from the office at 10:15 that Blake was running late and now my window was 1-5. Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised to get a text at 11:33 that he was on the way complete with his photo. So I put the dogs up and waited for his arrival, and got distracted by work emails ... when he wasn't here by 2:30 I phoned and was told my window was now 4-6pm. Then another text at 2:55 that he was on the way. When he showed up he told me he was new and didn't know how the text got sent but it wasn't his fault. He attempted to hand tighten a loose pipe/connector and announced he was done, so I turned the water on and shook the pipe with very little force and it popped back open. He kept repeating he was a licensed plumber and he was furious that I was 'rough on the pipe' and made it come loose. He said he wasn't charging me and was leaving-- so after waiting a week for this appointment I'm off to call a recommended company. If you called the old Overall number and thought you were getting good small town service, think again

(There's another stud about 14 inches to the right of the board that they could have attached to, but for some reason didn't.) I called NTXPlumbing and told their employee about the issue, and he said it didn't sound like a "repair issue" because the unit was still working, but that someone would get back to me. I waited a few weeks, and then sent a follow up email. I received a response that evening from Mai that said: "Thank you for sending this email. We will review and get back to you as soon as possible. " I'm not sure what they are reviewing, but it's been another week with no contact from them. I'm guessing they are just hoping that if they ignore their customer, that maybe the problem will go away. I'd recommend finding another company who won't ghost you when their's a quality issue with their install. For what it's worth, the Navien tankless unit has been great.

And it's quality work, and they never upsell you. If you need something, they'll explain it, and with a glad heart I'll purchase it. There have been several times that I have not had to pay as much money as they have inspected appliances and toilets and fixed the problem without having to replace them. When they need replacing, I will call no one other than Lex's plumbing. I will never use another plumber again. I refer them to all of our neighbors, and they continue to refer them to additional Neighbors. What I really appreciated was how flexible he was--he even offered to split the work into parts based on my budget, starting with switching the boilers from sequence to parallel and finishing the rest later. That was super helpful. He showed up quickly (within a day), did a clean and professional job, and made the whole process easy.
