Service requested : PRV replacement. I needed a pressure reduction valve replaced after my old one failed. I called GPS on Saturday evening, they were here as promised at 11:15 on Monday. The price quote ended up being a great value. The two guys that arrived were friendly and professional. Just nice guys. They got to work right away, and were done in about an hour. Included in the valve replacement cost, they excavated and replaced the old and inadequate builder-installed utility box with a much better one. They substantially elevated the water pipe junction to ensure it remains easy to access in the future, installed an additional water shut-off valve, and added pea gravel for drainage. I couldn't be happier, and I recommend them enthusiastically. read more

I highly recommend based on our circuitous experience...it ended very satisfied! My water heaters both stopped working & the plumber who had installed them wasn't responding to me right this very second. At the many recommendations of neighbors we called GPS Plumbing, who answered right away. While we didn't end up using their services, that was only bc they were so kind & helped over the phone, gently prompting our non-mechanically inclined brains to help ourselves. Couple of things to note: 1) rather than being a disinterested automaton, adding us to a queue & charging us a service fee to come fix something that took 20 seconds, she talked to us & now we have a learned skill. 2) the person answering the phone is knowledgeable enough to problem solve & walk you through a basic problem they've received more than their share of panicked calls from clueless home owners about & then she guides you to try to fix it...that indicates to me a company that employs & promotes people with ethics, knowledge & goodness. They will certainly come out to help you, whichever you prefer. read more

They are honest, nice and very efficient. One of those "do it all" companies quoted me $15,000 to upgrade to a tankless hot water heater. They said I needed all of these changes. GPS did a great, up to code job for half because I didn't need a lot of plumbing changes. I will use them for any future plumbing needs. read more

They give up front pricing, come on time, and are courteous and professional. Prices are very reasonable too. Would highly recommend.

Called GPS at 8am Monday morning. Bathroom sink plugged up w AC condensate drain. They scheduled for 11am, but arrived a few minutes early. In 15 minutes they eliminated the clog that was about 30' down the drainpipe. Cleaned up and left! This is great service! read more

Steve was very helpful when diagnosing my options. Great communication and competitive rates. We scheduled a time to install a new hot water heater and his guys showed up on time and were professional. Knocked out the job quickly and professionally and all seems to be working well again. Would gladly recommend GPS Plumbing! Thanks Steve! read more

GPS replaced two water heaters and a toilet for us last week. Pricing was fair... crew was early.... Professional and personable.

These guys are definitely awesome! I'd highly recommend, they were very serviceable, thorough and had great customer service. Not to mention economical. I made sure to save them in my contacts in case I need them in the future (hope not, but you never know). read more

Steve runs a tight ship and his pricing is very fair. Great work and very professional

Steve is stating I apologized to him.. THAT NEVER HAPPENED... My comments are accurate and it is very disturbing that he would post and put in writing that I apologized to him is a lie.. All of my review comments are true and I will never recommend GPS again.. The things he has stated and done actually would really worry me as a customer.. He just won't stop this nonsense.. He had the last word I said I am done and now he is putting words in my mouth.. And he still has not admitted that we were not given the same options as my neighbor... read more

Brandon and Sergio fixed my Mom's showers. The pressure is now great. Mom says it's like Niagara Falls now! She says it's wonderful! Thanks Brandon and Sergio for the excellent service! read more

Steve is an absolute lifesaver!! Above and beyond when we needed him most!! Our maid service accidentally flushed a rag down a toilet that blocked one of the main lines. We had water gushing up from under the toilet & out the top. Steve went out of his way to get us taken care of. Just awesome!!. read more

Wow isn't a word normally associated with plumbers! 1. They were able to fit me in the same day and even showed up much earlier due to a cancellation (chalking that one up to good luck). 2. They took off their shoes before stepping on the carpet (I'm Asian, and definitely appreciated). My dog, Buddy, immediately took to them, which again, I'll chalk to good luck 3. What I'd spent the weekend trying to fix, they were able to fix in 10 minutes. Yes, I felt like an idiot, but didn't want to give up my man card unless I at least tried and started flooding the wall behind the shower. Very reasonably priced by plumbing standards. Best money I've spent in a while...definitively recommended. read more

I had John replace my two water heaters. I had heard from neighbors and a friend that he was reasonable and did good work so I called him to get an estimate. He was cheaper than Home Depot "SAME DAY" and I'm a person who like referral's. He did a great job installing two water heaters in my second floor attic to include a flood stop device. I was so impressed, I had him return to replace my whole house water pressure regulator, then a third trip to replace the faucets that supply my clothes washer. All three projects done top notch. He shows up ON TIME! Highly recommend John Hulse. read more

Needed our washer/dryer water valves replaced. They came out quickly and did a great job at a fair price.

HUGE shout out to GPS Plumbing! We had a broken handle in one of our bathrooms. They came out same day (we had to shut our water off completely, so we needed ky fixed ASAP), replaced the handle in under an hour, and the charge was more than reasonable. Eron & Sergio were such nice guys and Dawn in the office was a pleasure to work with. I can't say enough good things. read more

What a find!!! I called this morning and Justin arrived within 30 minutes. He fixed a kitchen drain that was stopped up, fixed leaking faucets and changed out a shower head and charged me less than what another company quoted me on doing one repair! I will definitely use them again and again for any plumbing needs!!! Extremely professional and efficient! One happy customer!!! read more

GPS Plumbing responded immediately to our initial call for "help". They were prompt in showing up, polite, took care of the problem and communicated issues with me as they progressed. I was very happy and thought I definitely need to save their contact information for future problems. Later that day, the faucet they installed was dripping. I reached out and they immediately asked the right questions, I responded and then NOTHING. Never another response from them at all. It has been over a week now and NOTHING. Not impressed. They were willing to do the work but not answer my questions regarding ongoing issues. They will not be called back for future repairs I need. read more

John is AWESOME. Fast, knowledgeable, efficient. No padded costs - just good, honest work.

Without a doubt, the best, most dependable, most trustworthy plumbing option out there. I've used Steve for years at three different houses. Pricing is always competitive, and I know the job will get done quickly, and most importantly correctly. I wouldn't use anyone else. read more

They were great. Can put quickly and fixed everything fir a reasonable price. Definitely use them again.

GPS plumbing was truly a refreshing experience. They are easy to book, fair pricing on quotes, and just overall nice. They came and took care of my issue in no time (and their service was excellent). I am definitely happy to find a plumber who I can call again when I have another need, and know that I won't be ripped off. read more

These guys are great! Very professional, got right to the job and completed it even though it was in a mud pit! This is the 2nd time we've had GPS Plumbing out to fix some serious issues, and we're very satisfied with their work. read more

Steve, the owner and Master Plumber, quoted me over the phone for two toilet repairs (complete rebuilds), leaking shower and kitchen sink faucet replacement. I got a couple other quotes as well, and GPS was the most competitive. When it came time to do the work, Steve was right on time. I walked through with him to show him the items needing repair, and he got right to work. The work completed was done quickly, professionally and was of great quality. The invoice sent matched the quote we discussed - no unexpected surcharges or extra service fees, which I've had happen before. The whole experience was great, from quoting to completion. He didn't try to up-sell anything, in fact he tried to help save cost in a couple areas. I hope I don't need more plumbing work done anytime soon, but if I do, I know who I am going to call. I would recommend GPS without any reservations, and already have to several friends. read more

Great job of installing our bathroom vanity. Very professional and knowledgeable personnel.

After noticing rust colored water in the pan under our 9 year old water heater, we realized the interior lining was about to bust and we needed to replace it. After quickly comparing prices, we decided to go with GPS Plumbing, since they could come out the next day and had one of the best prices. Steve showed up on time and Aaron and Fisher came to assist shortly after. All three were very friendly, conversational and very professional. They installed the new water heater in less than an hour as they worked really well together, cleaning up and taking all the old parts with them when they left. I would highly recommend GPS Plumbing to anyone who needs plumbing work in the Frisco and surrounding areas. read more

Steve came out today(just before Easter! )and my sewer problem was not blocked ,toilet flushed and no back up.He explained fully what he thought was going on. This was my first time I was using his service . He did not charge me although I asked to pay for the service call even if there was no repair needed as he had taken the time to come to my house and and I felt he was entitled to charge for a call. Nice to know there is such a nice trustworthy plumber out there. Will definitely use him for all my plumbing needs . read more

This is the first time I've wished I could give more than 5 stars in a rating. Steve was an absolute pleasure to work with! I called him for a leaky water line in the front yard based on a referral from another plumbing company in Frisco who didn't service my area (I'm in The Colony). He was friendly, knowledgable, and his cost estimate was very competitive. When it came time to do the work, he was done before I knew it. He even charged me LESS than the original quote. That goes to show the kind of honest and fair business he runs. One added perk - Payment was simple and convenient with the web link he emailed afterwards. I now know the first person I'll call with future plumbing issues. Thanks, Steve! read more
