I can't say enough good things about Trident plumbing. I recently had to replace my pressure regulator valve and contacted a few plumbers to get estimates and time frames. Trident had availability when I need them and their price was fair. Vlad and his assistant (my apologies I forgot the assistant's name) were the plumbers assigned to my job; They were both professional and courteous. Vlad explained what they were going to do and got quickly to work on replacing the valve. They worked tirelessly digging up and removing the old valve. Despite the heat and humidity they were happily working together to replace the valve and even dealt with interruptions from my son who was very curious about the work taking place outside of his window. They answered his questions and didn't seem annoyed by his curiosity. Once the job was complete Vlad showed me the new valve and explained how to operate it, he also explained the invoice and asked if I had any questions. I don't know much about plumbing, but the quality of the work looked top notch. They cleaned everything up and I couldn't even tell anyone had been in my flower bed. I was really impressed. Lastly, the inspector for the city of Frisco came out to inspect the job and even commented on how clean and professional the new installation was. I highly recommend Trident plumbing and I will use them for all of my future plumbing needs. I was happy with the entire process; I didn't feel like I was being upsold or overcharged for the work. Hello, We used Trident Plumbing out of Frisco Texas for a slab leak detection during our home sale. The quality of testing was terrible and our follow up requests for support was worse. Trident detected two leaks under the house. One leak they detected was 7 feet away from the actual leak and the other was 21 feet away from where they detected. Because we used their recommendations on access points and measurements we went into the slab in the garage to fix one and tore apart one of our bathrooms to access the other. Based on the actual locations we could have gone in from the exterior of the house. Their errors cost us an extra $5,700 in plumbing cost, more than $900 in bathroom repair and alot of work and time. Each time we followed up with Trident to discuss the situation we were treated very poorly. I also sent them emails with no follow up. Thomas Bates and Brian Brunner miss handled the situation. Follow Up to Response Below: I guess I can't respond to your response below but I can edit my initial comment. 1) We hired you for a leak detection and your leak detection was completely wrong. As a licensed plumber I expected quality work as I would with any licensed professional. The very experienced licensed master plumber we hired to do the digging and repair thought he could rely on your detection as well. 2) Your price per foot to dig was much higher thus we would have had a larger outlay of cash if we went with you to do the work. Furthermore, given the quality of your work, in hindsight I am thankful we did not use you. 3) Obviously you care more about your online reviews than you do your customers because this has been going on since December with no adequate response from you and yet you respond to my Yelp comment within a couple hours. read more

On September 10, 2025, Trident Plumbing, LLC performed service on my upstairs bathtub. Their technician worked on the overflow while the tub was full of water, which caused flooding through the walls, ceiling, and flooring. My restoration company's report confirmed sudden water intrusion, and I incurred $6,200 in restoration costs and $267 in plumbing repair costs, in addition to Trident's $241 service fee. When I contacted management, I was told they were "not at fault," and the manager raised his voice during our call. Despite sending a written demand letter with documentation, the company refused to take responsibility. This was my personal experience, supported by invoices and reports. read more

I had a leak in the water line coming off the meter. I contacted 6 Yelp Plumbers. 2 of the 6 wanted around $100 just to give me an estimate. Trident did not. Kelly and Luis were fantastic! I would give them 10 stars if I could. Three of the companies wanted $2000+ to do the work and it would have been complicated and disruptive. Kelly found a way to accomplish the same thing (but even better) and it took 3 hours and less than half of what the others wanted. Today we had a horrible experience with Trident Plumbing. Our hot water heater wasn't working and the technician CJ said we needed a $300 Thermocouple or a new hot water heater for $2700. We went with the Thermocouple. He didn't have one on his truck which should have been my first red flag. He returned with it and it didn't work so we proceeded to replace the water heater. Once installed, the new hot water heater didn't work. The problem wasn't the hot water heater AT ALL!! The problem was a gas line problem. So now we have a new hot water heater in the attic, no hot water still, and a perfectly fine hot water heater sitting in our yard. CJ admits he has only been in the field two months and didn't think to check that there was gas. Honestly, I felt sorry for him. Who hasn't messed up early on in their career? The actual problem was the general manager named Brian. The solution we asked for was to return the original hot water heater to the attic or discount the hot water heater to $2000. He was incredibly unprofessional and refused to make their mistake right. He even went as far to say that if I left a bad review he would "delete it if he could or rebut it if he couldn't". Who says that? So I'm writing a review and I would not use this company. I have now spent $2700 on a new hot water heater that I didn't need and I still have no hot water. read more

I seldom leave feedback but this one I just had to not only because of the phenomenal job Trident did but the "after" service they followed through with. Short and sweet story first of all they don't cut corners, legit and has integrity behind their business. They won't be the cheapest or the most expensive but they will get the job right so you won't have headaches later on! The city inspector even commented that whoever did this job went above and beyond to make sure all was done correctly and to last. (They insulated the pipes and made sure to not take too much space when they installed the RPC. Next, after service... originally I thought when one of my sprinklers burst that it had something to do with the recent plumbing job they did so I called and asked if they can check it. Guess what? They came by! No excuses, no hassle, no delay! They set a date and time and made it! Unbelievable! And what's really mind blowing is they did this twice! 1st call and visit has nothing to do with the plumbing they did and was given advise how to fix that (quick fix), 2nd call and visit again I feel had nothing to do with what they did but they FIXED IT anyway and inspected all the other sprinkler and drips to make sure all was good! I don't know about you but they made me a permanent new customer from here on! Schuyler and his assistant replaced a faulty PRV valve in 3 hours. I found Trident from YouTube video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghcPsnSL8mk , describing the exact problem with exact symptoms of high pressure: knocking pipes, premature wear on faucets and appliances. This house had 2 major floods in 2012, and I was surprised the prior homeowner was not told about the excessive 120 PSI pressure that likely caused all the damage to begin with. For the PRV, Trident went above and beyond in detail to meet Frisco specific code requirements, pulling permits, and cleanup. The original PRV was buried 4 feet deep in the flower bed in complete mud, and didnt have the right kind of shutoff valve. The new PRV was installed in a covered box, with pea gravel, and less than 6 inches from ground level. They hauled away a bush that had to be removed and old mulch/leaves. Schuyler also set the PRV to a preferred 75 PSI. Trident also has Frisco inspectors available for facetime inspection for same day approval of the work which prevented follow up appointments. Schuyler also replaced the hot water expansion tank because the air bladder had burst from the 120PSI noted from my inspection report. No more knocking pipes and water pressure spraying outside of sink drains. Schuyler also replaced a toilet shutoff valve and gave advice on replacing two toilets based on AHS warranty estimates. He explained a few things to my husband and I about our faucet and sink issues that we didn't know and gave us some tips for ongoing maintenance that we will definitely do. They called when they were on the way to give us a heads up on timing and they actually got the jobs done quicker than we anticipated. The pricing was exactly what they quoted over the phone. Inconsiderate to customer time!! They ran me in circles on when they were going to arrive, I changed my schedule and canceled patients at work which means I am losing money while sitting here waiting because they gave me a two-hour window of time when they would arrive. I even warned them beforehand that due to my schedule I would have to be out of the home promptly at 10. I was promised that the diagnosis would be done by then and they would be good to go. Not only did they call an hour and half later to say they were coming after I had called several times, but they also then said their truck broke down not 15 minutes later and they are going to send another truck even though they knew I had a tight window. Not only were they running me in circles over the phone all the while their rate of charge for their initial visit is $189 for the first 30 minutes and then on top of that charge $45 per 15 minutes after that. Yet they cannot arrive in the large window of time given, they didn't keep up proper communication of where they were until I called several times! Now I've lost a morning of work for nothing because basic communication isn't a thing for a company that seemingly is large enough to be able to provide a simple text of what's going on. read more

My outside faucet had a consistent stream of water leaking out when it was turned off. Called Trident, they changed my water heaters couple years earlier (that experience was good). Schulyer, from beginning to end was informative, kind, and helpful. He replaced my faucet and discussed why it wasn't working properly, as well as gave me has much info as possible on the potential costs up front. We were first-time customers of Trident Plumbing and we were extremely pleased with the whole experience. They were taking care of our next door neighbor who had a problem and as he (the plumber) was finishing up I approached him to get a 2nd quote on some work I'd been planning with another plumbing company. We woke up early only to discover our water heater was whistling and leaking from the bottom. To make matters worse, when I turned the shutoff valve to stop the incoming water, the valve didn't work. So, I had had to shut off the water to the house. We had family visitng us from out of town, it was two days before the next forecasted freeze event, and three days before more friends would arrive to spend Christmas with us. We have a home warranty, but like many home warranties, there was no sense of urgency with the warranty company. The first plumber they assigned wasn't available until the next day so I notified the warranty company and they assigned another company, which showed up within the hour. However, because the builder put in a 75 gallon water heater, the plumber said it may take 3 to 5 days before they receive a replacement unit from the warranty company. Due to the urgency of the situation, I contacted 12 different plumbers in the area, only to be told again by some that the 75 gallon water heater is harder to come by and more expensive. Some of the companies that I called did not have appointments until after Christmas. A few said the would not provide a quote over the phone. 5 gave us quotes and only one said they would make every effort to get one of their plumbers to my house that day. That company was Trident. When I called Trident, Kallee was extremely helpful and understanding. She sent me an email with a written estimate for the work and called to say they were able to shuffle around the schedule to get a plumber to my house that day. Once I agreed, they dispatched Schuyler and Vlad and they showed up at the time quoted. Schuyler and Vlad were the best plumbers that I have ever had show up to one of our homes over the years. I have used Daniel (owner) for over 5-6 years now (back when he worked for another company). He is super friendly, VERY smart and knows a LOT about plumbing. I like that he stays on top of technology and innovation in the plumbing business. I am a DIY guy and he happily works with me and helps me save $. I also like that Trident Plumbing is MUCH cheaper than the other company I used to use (and still recommend for quality work.) but at close to half the cost I'll choose Trident for same quality driven work. This last visit I detailed exactly the work I needed done and was told the low estimate would be a minimum of $210, but ended up paying under $180. I was pleasantly surprised and very happy. I called for an estimate on a tub repair, and I needed some PEX barb connections put on some copper pipes where I was changing out fixtures. He was able to FIX the tub, instead of an estimate and get the other fittings installed fast and at a very budget friendly price. I don't trust a lot of companies, unless I've continually used them multiple times with good results and consistently hearing the correct terminology/advise. (I don't know everything but I know a lot about repairs) Sometimes I want a plumber to fix certain things and when I do need a plumber Trident Plumbing will be that company I call. I really value the service I received, and I'm so grateful to have one more craftsman that I know I can call on in a time of need. Those contacts are very valuable to me! I can't recommend this company high enough! Again I still have high praise for the other company (which I don't want to cross promote on this review.)...but you are going to pay almost DOUBLE!!! Plumbers are not cheap....not many are willing to get their hands messy in some of the stuff a plumber must deal w/, and their work requires expensive tools in / training in some cases.... insurance/licensing. (do not skimp on a plumber that isn't licensed and insured.) Anyway... most are more likely to write a bad review when they feel wronged, vs people go out of their way to write a good one....I like to support businesses that I feel are really good, because I want them to stay healthy and do well so they will be there when I need them! If you read this far...at the very least invest in giving them a call...they wave the fee to come to your house for the first visit, and you won't regret it! read more
