They came out, but instead of simply diagnosing and addressing the issue, they had her wait while they spent roughly 45 minutes sitting in their van putting together three "proposals." The options started at about $1,000, with a second option around $2,000 and a top-tier option around $3,000. As I recall, the $3,000 proposal included replacing the toilet, while the first two were various levels of "repair." That seems like an awful lot of money for what turned out to be a bad wax ring damaged during a flooring install. I have since removed the toilet myself, replaced the wax ring, and everything is fine. No major repair was needed and certainly no $1,000-$3,000 solution. No wonder their address is on "profit dr." If this company isn't private equity-owned, they're sure doing a good impression of the private-equity playbook: upsell aggressively, present multiple expensive options, and turn a simple repair into a major sales opportunity. What a rip-off. Get a second opinion before agreeing to anything. Buyer beware.

I received their information as a referral from one of the owners of my trusted HVAC company in Dallas who used Mark to install a tankless in his home as well. Mark is honest, fair, down to earth, and a true professional in every sense of the word. He is also incredibly respectful with a great attitude... can you believe he asked me with a smile (!) how I wanted my floor mopped after him and his crew worked a long 10 hour day with almost no breaks. He stayed late just to make sure we didn't lose hot water overnight, and my wife and I both were very grateful for that. If you've been down the home improvement path, you know there can be some surprises, and this job was no exception.
