We needed the toilet replaced in the small bathroom. All the old tile had to be taken out and the floor repaired. He was short handed for help with the floor and assured us that he could do the floor. We had purchased the vinyl flooring from Lowes for him to install. The bathroom was small and he had the door closed so I couldn't see what he was doing. He had coated the floor with something in preparation for the installation of the new flooring. This coating was all over the door, walls and door frame. At the end of his crappy installation, I had to scrape it off and stain the wood. He thought we were installing stick on tiles but, we had bought interlocking tile. He had a difficult time installing and I told him that I was not happy with the way it looked. He assured me he knew what he was doing. During the several days working at the house, he would tell us he would come in the morning and then he wouldn't show up or call. Then he would call later in the day and say that he wasn't coming. After the work was done, it looked awful. I won't dare wet mop the floor because the pieces don't fit together properly. One piece sticks up and I can catch my foot on it. He said he would give us a military discount at the start and when finished he did not give us the discount. He assured us that the insurance company would pay for the damage. We didn't get much from the insurance company and he should have given us the discount. He did not satisfy us at all. The plumbing installation went well but, he should not have assured us that he was able to install the flooring.
