Uno Dos Tacos is my favorite fast-food stop when traveling through Louisiana. I happened to stumble across it on my road trip from Houston, Texas to Pensacola Beach, Florida last year. I loved it then and was so excited as I was making the same trip last night to find the familiar favorite on the blue roadside sign. While this was a different location, it was still just as good as I remembered. It's so nice to have a place to stop that's not just Taco Bell!! This location is easy to get to from the highway and the drive thru is easily accessible. The woman working the drive thru was very kind and patient. I ordered the El Classico and made it a combo with beans and rice. I love the cheese they use on their tacos! The beans they make also have such a good and unique flavor. It was around $25 for my combo plate order and my husband's burrito. While I can't testify to how good his tasted since I didn't try it, I will say that it was huge. My husband had it made with chipotle mayo and he did love that. I'm a big fan of the restaurant overall and this location was good! I will definitely be stopping by on my way back home to Texas. read more

The service is now just mean they tried to kill me with adding lettuce to my tacos when I asked for cabbage i got both look when something on your menu has been contaminated state wide you should ban it from your menu until further notice you added it to my food to hurt me because I didn't ask for it just hateful read more

The food is always good there. I've been 3 times; I always did the drive-thru. This last time I ordered guacamole "on the side". The price was $2.25 - the serving was put in the little plastic cup w/lid like you get at Sam's when they are doing samples. Very disappointed- I won't be ordering guac again. read more

I had the pleasure of coming during lunchtime and was disappointed in the service there seem to be a woman behind the counter who was not very friendly and seemed very unhappy to be there. As far as the food goes, my burrito was dry, even though I asked for sour cream, the chicken was dry and I asked for pico not sure if it was even added. The pictures below are the chicken burrito. My husband ordered a birria burrito which was also dry he added shrimp to his, which caused extra and the shrimp had a very fishy taste to it, not sure if it was old or left out he also added queso which we paid extra for and we don't see it paid $32 with a 10% off card for two burritos won't be back. read more

I've stopped by here to grab a bite 3 times now. They opened close to home a couple of months ago. I've tried the crispy tacos which were really good, but so far the best thing I've had is the burrito with birria, rice, and beans (3 different options refried, black, and whole pinto), several different tortilla options but I always get the cayenne. Then I add a lot of veggies. They have a great list of options and only a couple of options cost extra (like guacamole). The birria is really flavorful and tender. They load your burrito up! It's a new place so very clean inside and it's nice that they have a drive-thru if you don't want to go inside. You can also order online and pick up but they cut off the order online 30 mins to an hour before close. You can still call and order for pick up. The ambiance is super casual. The times I've been the employees were really nice and service was fast. I'm really happy to have this location close by! read more

Really a 2.5 for me. Decided to try out this new spot in Covington and was not impressed. If you like Mexican food this is not the place for you. I ordered the steak quesadilla, chicken tacos, and churros. Everything was basic and didn't seem fresh. Definitely not what I was expecting from uno dos tacos. read more

My husband was trying to get me out of bed, and he said he was planning to take me to "the new taco place" for breakfast tacos. I was rtg in under 10 mins. So glad that we came here! Wasn't impressed at all with the food. Let's call this Taco Bell 2.0 Birria tacos, all you can taste from the sauce was smoked paprika. The rice and beans were not great. In all, food was not great, and they were expensive. read more

Get the Nachos!! You get a ton of food! Everything is freshly made . You can tell the difference in the quality. Great food! So much with the nachos that you could split it. My kids also love this place! We come almost weekly. read more

Just really inconsistent. I have been 4 times and have had 4 completely different experiences. Sometimes the food is perfect, other times it's not correct or just not very good. The birria quesadilla was good, I had a barbacoa bowl, the barbacoa was sweet and in what tasted like bbq sauce which did not like, barbacoa shouldn't be sweet or in a sauce, the churros were ok, I did not care for the chocolate sauce read more

Went threw drive threw on Nov 10 around 630 and ordered 4 shrimp tacos and 2 steak tacos. Got home and had no steak tacos. Shrimp tacos that were in there had about 2 tacos that were full and the rest were lettuce. Shrimp tacos were terrible and had no seasoning. This place won't last long. Terrible food. I am obsessed with the bacon egg & cheese breakfast burrito combo in the morning! I add refried beans & add the chipotle mayo on the side. (get extra of this sauce, its a game changer) The hash browns are so crispy & seasoned well. The burrito is delicious everytime. The service is always great when I go inside. Freshly made, fast! We ordered chicken, steak, and barbacoa tacos and they were well stuffed and delicious. My kids like that they get to "build" their tacos with the toppings they like. Service was extremely friendly. While it's not a "traditional" Mexican place, it's the chipotle of tacos and that works for us! Will definitely come back again. read more

Very underwhelming experience. We went on a Sunday morning for breakfast. We were the only ones there and that should've been the first clue. We pulled up in the drive thru and had to wait 10 minutes before our order was taken. It took at least another 10 minutes before the food came out and it was desperately lacking flavor. read more

The food was not what was expected. The beans were out of the can and it should be a crime to call the rice Mexican.The service was nice.

Went grab some breakfast today. Sausage taco and chorizo taco. 10/10. Delicious. You can hear them in the back preparing your food so it's good and fresh. Also had the brisket breakfast burrito. So good! Nice and Smokey. Cinnamon roll is a good size and warm. It was amazing. Last but not least, the churros.. they give you 3 with a chocolate dipping sauce that is warm. That was 10/10 as well!
