I just happened to be attempting to "clean up" my phone and messages, etc., and when I checked into the "yelp" site here, I find a response to my review here almost a year ago which for some unknown reason I cannot pull back up and post. I really wish I could because although I had not thought about this review or the business at all within the past year, obviously someone else did. It would seem to be someone associated with the creamery who decided it was a good idea to completely validate my experience as being an honest report stating that the employee closed up early to go home before the storm, of course this employee nor the responder considered that they did not bother to admit that their competition just a few doors down that DID NOT and received my business that night nor did this person or employee consider that a simple note on the door explaining the situation would have been an appropriate response BUT felt it most appropriate to inform me that there was "NO NEED to leave a one star review." I noted there were 4-5 other ONE STAR REVIEWS further noted here and was curious if they were also informed that there "ONE STAR REVIEWS" were "not needed". I reread my review and it was not offensive in any way and their response validated my experience so rather than attempt to obtain a potential customer's business, this obvious owner or manager elected to chastise me for daring to leave a honest, respectful customer experience. As someone who worked service industry and lower level management waitressing tables to pay my way through college and medical school to become a physician, I find this type of attitude both baffling, insulting, rude and very much "not needed". I not only wish that YELP would make it easier for others to read this response to my review and whether the 5 OTHER ONE STAR REVIEWS received the same type of feedback. I have not thought of EPIC CREAMERY or my experience or to attempt to return and MOST CERTAINLY at this point am quite glad and will continue to do so as EPIC CREAMERY has clearly expressed that they have "NO NEED" for business. What a puzzling business strategy to express in this economic climate and even more discouraging behavior to model to young employees. I wish you all luck in your future endeavors as I will continue to have "NO NEED" to of spending my money or encouraging others to do so there when there are so many much more welcoming and EPIC ice cream shops in this area. read more

Stopped by for dessert & they didn't disappoint at all !! It was our first time here , we walked in & was greeted. It was pretty busy at around 8:45pm. We ordered our desserts and waited about 6min for everything to be made to order. We took a seat in the seating area , a staff member brung out our treats to us. We had them to go. We sat outside in the car & watched the fireworks that were popping nearby. Definitely coming back to try again :) read more

Never had to leave a bad review but here it is. My boyfriend and I were craving milkshakes after eating lunch. He found this place and we decided to give it a try as the pictures looked amazing!! Upon walking in a young woman (pale, dark black hair, lots of makeup) stared at us and kind of gave us the look of "great more customers". We walked in and she was friendly, she had her friend there and they were chatting away. Didn't bother us. He looked up at the menu and asked if all the shakes were available. The worker stated "yes but we're out of cookies & cream but we recommend sundaes". Well we ordered shakes. Cooke Monster and Fire Camp, which by the way were delicious. Waited about 6-10 minutes for the first one, not exaggerating. She was making the shakes and had her friend behind the counter with her, chatting up a storm, again didn't bother us. She did however make the comment of "what's he going to do, fire me?" 1 of the shakes were completed while we waited another 10 minutes for the other. While I don't care she was chatting with her friend, she certainly could've made the shakes faster if she wasn't. Our milkshakes seemed watery but nonetheless very good. As we were heading up to the front to pay another customer walked in and she quickly started washing dishes. She looked up at us and stated she'd be done in just a moment. We stood there for about 3-5 minutes watching her continuously pick up a silver blender cup after the other, along with spoons. Two more minutes passed, the other customer started looking around and made eye contact with us like wth!!My boyfriend asked her if he could please go ahead and pay so he can leave. She stated "yes almost done." I kid you not she picked up 3 more cups and spoons and started washing them. My boyfriend, frustrated at this point asked her to literally stop washing dishes so he can pay and leave. She turned the faucet off and stated "yeah". She didn't have an attitude, maybe a bit irritated. I wasn't mean to her at all, I simply stated "good customer service is taking care of the customers first." She stated "oh yeah?" As if I didn't know anything about customer service. I've been in the restaurant business since I was 15 and I've never just let customers stand around watching me wash dishes (that should've been cleaned but was too busy gossiping with her friend) knowing they come first and are ready to pay. So clearly she needs more experience in customer service. Shakes were good but most likely won't be back. And yeah, your boss should absolutely fire you. read more

Loved every bit of it! We didn't realize they were about to cleanse as we walked in but they still had great service and was so sweet. They also let us taste a couple options before choosing since it was our first time there. ITS SO MANY OPTIONS! it was hard for me to choose and I love the fact they had the blue bell birthday cake ice cream which made my inner child extremely happy! You get to keep the gods mason jar, and they'll even swap you the original one for a new, clean one before you leave with lids so you don't have a mess in the car. They offer basic scoops, sundaes and milk shakes as well, so you don't have to save your visits only for special occasions. Not exactly sure where my review went but I am here to tell you, if you did not look at the menu board and did not see the price of each item, then that is not on the business, that is on you. The epic thing here is the indoor sand playground for the kiddies. The ice cream is pretty generic but they pump up the luxury value with the toppings. The prices are very high. I'm giving it three stars because they charge a lot of money for the type of ice cream they are selling but it's more about the experience here. read more

Gonna start off by saying this was the least epic place I've ever been. It took 45 minutes for us to get two shakes and a single scoop of ice cream with only 2 people ahead of us in line.
