What a great treat for the family! We love to take our kids here on a sunny day for their cold treat. We love the amount of flavors they offer but our favorite is the strawberry and sour apple. What we love the most is their snow, they truly make the softest sno balls. Another great thing about this place is their photo opportunity backdrop, our kids love posing for the camera.

But I think they used real Thai iced tea leaves to make it cuz there were little flakes that none of the other flavors had. My bf got satsuma and passion fruit. That was so tropical and citrus-y yum. And then I tried his sister's strawberry shortcake which tasted like the strawberry shortcake ice cream - delicious. The watermelon flavor also tasted just like watermelon. I loved how all the flavors didn't taste artificial at all. There's a line but it went pretty fast. You can see a lot of the photos inside from the 1950s to now - felt very old school.

Hansen's is a good, solid choice if you are looking for a sno-ball. They have been around for 86…read moreyears!! I like how they employ "the kids". Nostalgic to see, hard working summer jobs. You can not go to New Orleans without trying Hansens at least once. If you are local, its a really nice place to visit the evening of a hot day. I have tried the root beer, chocolate, cream of coconut, strawberry and spearmint. All have been tasty. For about $8-10 you can get a snow ball with a pineapple and cherry. For about $12-13 you can get marshmallow on top and I highly recommend this for the experience. Its typically a longer line but its part of the experience. When you go inside, its like a blast from the past. You are gonna have syrup all over the souvenir cup and all. They have many choices to choose from.

Omg this is probably one of my favorite deserts I've ever had. It does not even seem like it's a…read moresnowball. I got the Cookie Monster snowball. It was their original droopy flavor, stuffed with vanilla ice cream and topped with whipped cream and Oreos. Wowwwwwww! The "droopy" flavor really is hard to explain, but it's so delicious. We stood in line for about 20 minutes. It was raining, but they had umbrellas at the front so I was able to shield myself from the rain. Really really really loveeeee this snowball. You 100% have to go just to experience it for yourself. The line is worth it.

The line was not as long as we've seen so I'm sure the wait time is longer. A great thing is that they supply large umbrellas to hold for shade. We all had different flavors and we all liked them. Their ice is super soft which I loved. I also liked that they weren't overly sweet. However, on the same note, I could barely taste Vanilla in my husband's Orchid Vanilla. The sizes are nice for the prices and there are a lot of flavors and different creative treats to choose from! My rating is 4 stars because it didn't make sense that they serve and take orders from the same small window. While I was placing my order, the girl was taking it, yelling at the workers what she was still waiting for and handing out other people's orders.
