I waited for over a hour I was told they would be there at 8:30. 8:30 comes around I call and the lady on the other end of the phone who was extremely rude and unhelpful told me they would not be here till 10am. My first time since writing in a bit... It's great to be back. Unfortunately, The Powers that Be @ Yelp removed my Yelp Elite Badge this past year or 2 without announcing to me them doing so. I live with mental health condition(s) but am still high-functioning and feel like my credibility here on Yelp and in the bounds attached to it have been negatively impacted since mourning the loss of my Yelp Elite Badge and it was to be my 10th Year Yelp Badge Celebration. Please Yelp reinstate my Elite Badge so I can continue to craft and publish help to the Public creations. Yet I digress. This United Towing was dispatched for the only new car I've ever had a 2005 Chevy Tahoe with 4 WD. She, as in my beloved aging ride, began to have sputtering and choking out and didn't want to start so I phoned my one-in-a-million mechanic Roger @ Rogers Auto here in Turlock, CA. and he waited for United Towing to arrive and deliver my only mode of transportation. Roger repaired the needed area, by draining my fuel tank as the pump is located inside the gas tank. What a nightmare of a repair in my opinion.He did all this and charged me just over $800. What a Steal! The driver who was soft-spoken and didn't speak much loaded my ride/vehicle without damaging it as I stood there observing. Roger told me later that the tow went very well. Was going through insurance for roadside assistance. United was the tow company assigned to assist my in laws who were stranded and needed a tire changed. They are an older couple and my father in law had shoulder surgery recently and can't change a tire or else he would have never called. They waited 2-3 hours AFTER receiving a text that UNITED TOW would be on their way to assist. They never showed up so I called United and the man identified himself as "Jay" the "owner." He was extremely unprofessional and rude and stated "call your insurance, we canceled that job" I said excuse me? You canceled it for what reason? He said "It was gonna take too long to get there"... like wtf? His tone of voice and response was just incredibly rude and unprofessional. I guess he thinks because he is the business owner he can talk to ppl however he wants. Learn how to be courteous... as a business owner you really should know better. I told him I would be calling during normal business hours to talk to the owner about his lack of customer service and he said "oh I am the owner." So since there's nobody to talk to about his unprofessionalism, I'll just leave this review to tell potential customers. He claims in his response that the call was canceled within 10 minutes but fails to realize I called and spoke to a female who had the call assigned and said she would let the driver know about their exact location. Again, JAY... your customer service sucks. You should really work on that. All of your snarky RUDE replies to negative reviews highlights your lack of professionalism. Keep at it. read more

My insurance company called them to pick up my car cause someone stole all tires off of my car. Moises was the one who came out and he was super nice and professional. He felt apologetic about my car getting scraped but suggested since my family's car had spares he could use. He was able to avoid further damage to my already damaged car from being left on bricks. After dealing with two separate companies through Geico, the last truck JUST UP AND LEFT!!! Anyway, we tried a third time, which was United. Understand we were at our wits end but the driver Bo went through to see if he could get the car out of the gear it was stuck in. He walked us through everything he was doing from setting the skates to get the car up on the flatbed, he was VERY professional and he got our car to our destination. Want to thank Bo for being super friendly and professional!!! I would DEFINITELY use their services again, HOPEFULLY I won't but they will be our go to!! read more

United Towing Sac saved the day! I was stranded between lanes on HWY 50 in West Sacramento in lunch hour traffic and construction. Bracing myself for a series of pile up crashes....Zabi of United Towing happens to be a few cars behind and he literally saves the day by taking safety into his hands and we push my car to a relative safe space. Im clearly shaken and not making decisions well. He asks about my insurance and means to get a tow. I don't have the number for my roadside assistance..... only then does he say "i have a towing company, would you like me to dispatch a tow?" oh yes Please1 I do not know the area at all and am 2 hours away from home, I just didn't know what I was going to do after getting safely off the HWY. Zabi and his family ( the tow driver) went above and beyond to get me to a mechanic and comfortability to make the next right decisions. Reasonable prices and above and beyond human beings. My insurance contacted this company after I was in an accident, the estimated arrival was a little more than an hour, so the 45 min or less arrival time advertised is a lie, after an hour and a half of waiting I received an update that the truck would be delayed an hour due to them having to drop off another vehicle. After waiting two hours the driver finally contacted me and explained it would be another hour due to him having to drop of another vehicle once again. I'm not one to complain but waiting in the sun for 3+ hours after being in a pretty serious car accident doesn't seem right. I called my insurance company, they contacted the company and the company told them they had a truck break down, so either they lied to me or to the insurance company because it's two different stories. Definitely would not recommend this business to anyone in a time of need. Update to situation, I was still waiting for the truck as I left the review, my insurance calls me and says the company canceled the service on their end... outstanding!!! Had to call them at midnight due to a flat tire in a bad part of town, their driver showed up, seemed nice but could not inflate a simple spare tire. He left to go find a tool for that and then completely ghosted me, would not answer his phone and all. He just left me hanging, imagine an emergency service company that could leave you and your family hanging in the middle of nowhere. This towing company is the best. My Jeep broke down in downtown Modesto at 11pm on a cold Monday night. I called AAA and the tow truck was there within 15 min. I don't recall the drivers name, it he was a really nice guy, he had my vehicle loaded and secure in no time, gave me a ride home and then dropped my Jeep at the dealership for me. If you are truly stuck and in need of help they are not your guys! I waited about 2 hours for a Jump , and when the tow driver finally showed up and did so he crossed the cables and burnt my fuse! So I was screwed! I asked for a tow about 35 miles away , he called dispatch and was denied because they said my insurance needed to create a new ticket! When they created a new ticket my insurance contacted me to let me know they rejected me and had a new company company coming out. I contacted them to let them know they caused the issue and the response from dispatch was I was wrong because they only have trained professionals even thou I witnessed the driver cross the jumper cables. 24 hours later I had to replace the blockage fuse at Honda, put a new battery, and my stereo along with USB ports don't work and I was told by tech that it's fried due to what happened! read more
