My yelp review is more for joe the tow truck guy he was pretty dope, we waited on the side of the freeway for about 30 mins , it was I wanna say 130am & it was just me and my girlfriend , he wasn't a creep, he was friendly talkative , seems like he loves driving all day we were charged $150 by the owner to get 7 miles away to a CNG gas station thankfully our car filled up and we were back on the road , if I ever come up joe will come up appreciated being towed & not left stranded until the morning Person who answered phone: they seemed annoyed , I get it was 1am but don't sound like a dick just cause you have to wake up , by him sounding like a dick led me to believe I was going to be left there or they were going to take hours other than that thanks for towing us And shoutout joe read more

5.2.14 I highly recommend these guys to everyone. No b/s pricing, employees are very polite and are ready to help you when you need it. My car was broke down in Lathrop and I live in Turlock, it took them less than an hour to provide me with service. I didn't have to pay upfront, nor did I even have to ride along with the driver. I am so overly happy with the price of the tow as well, especially after calling other places. They don't charge by mile or have a fee for just putting your vehicle on their trailer. This was by far the best towing experience I've ever had with any company. And if I happen to need a tow again these guys will be the first and only place I go or even recommend to anyone. read more

DO NOT USE CHUY'S TOWING!! AT ALL COSTS, DO NOT USE! Wish I could give zero stars!!! Started off great, ended up being a nightmare! We had our truck and trailer towed home from a breakdown heading on vacation. The truck arrived timely, the driver was nice, and he got our rig home. When he was unhooking the trailer, we both noticed a hole in the front of the trailer. He asked if that had just happened. I responded yes, as it was not there earlier in the day when I hooked up the trailer head out. He said to take a picture and text it to him. I did so, along with a picture of our stabalizer jack that was bent to the point of inoperation. I hadn't heard anything back and meant to call but got very busy (life happens, right?). A few weeks later when I finally remembered to call to speak with someone, I asked for a manager. After explaining the situation, he asked me to send him the pictures because this was the first he was hearing about it. Again I sent the pictures. This time I received a instant response. Unfortunately, the manager proceeded to tell me "he knows for a fact" the damage was not from his tow truck. He continued to inform me he could tell the hole was not new damage, sighting there being "dirt" around the edges of the hole. I let him know that was the shadow as the picture was taken at night when the trailer was dropped off. This apparently was impossible, he said, it must be dirt. I am trying to somehow scam him. Everytime I tried to speak, he would cut me off and explain again how it was not his fault, how it was impossible for his tow truck to have made the damage, how I was obviously trying to scam him because I waited so long. He even tried to accuse me of assuming his driver purposely damaged my trailer. I tried multiple times to wait for him to finish so I could have a chance to say something, truly anything, but this was not allowed. As I got out half of a thought, he instant interrupted continuing on about it couldn't be their fault. Literally 10 minutes and 42 seconds of having to listen without hardly being able to get a word in. If you have a choice, DO NOT USE CHUY'S TOWING!! Tell your roadside assistance service not to call them, they refuse to take resposibility for damage that happens while a vehicle is on their tow truck. The damage wasn't really that bad, but not being able to accept liability when damage happened in your posession really sat poorly with me. If I could rate this fraudulent business any lower, I absolutely would. The owner of this business has his employees STEAL CARS, drop them off in no parking areas and then proceeds to tow these cars and charge exorbitant fees. If you've had your car towed by Chuy, I would call the police and file a police report. He can't keep getting away with this, it's wrong and disgusting. Not to mention, he keeps those with suspended licenses as employees. Absolutely despicable. I'll be calling the police and filing a report, and have already contacted the BBB, reporting this SCAMMER. We called last weekend to get a price quote. They said it would be 45.00. We had to wait until the next weekend and I guess prices went up for no reason.. Then when they got here they charged me a 5.00 fee to use my credit card. They never said it would be more if I used a credit card. Very disappointing and dishonest..will not use them again I don't like being lied to. read more

Horrible Service. Called in the middle of the night due to locking my keys in my car, guy said it would be $80. I agreed and told him where I was. 2 hours later, he never showed up. So I called Scenic tow, they showed up in 30 min. And only charged me $45. read more

My 1996 Dodge truck was towed at the Rematito off of Crowslandind in Ceres, CA. On 09/29/2013 On 09/29/2013 My 1996 dodge ram crew cab was towed at the rematito in Ceres, CA in their own parking lot. Their were no signs anywhere in sight or around the area that I was parked at That said my truck would be towed. I had parked at the edge of the parking lot and the truck had gotten towed. I had asked the Tow truck driver why he was towing my truck, he said it was because I passed a white line in the parking lot. When I went to get my truck out I was dealing with the owner Jesus at Chuys Towing. I asked how much it was going to be to get my truck out because there was absolutely no price lists of how much it cost for service anywhere in their office.Jesus said it was going to be 190.00 for the tow. I asked if that was their normal rate of charge, he said no, It depends if the tow is public, private contract or hourly, he said my truck was towed on private property so it was under a private contract tow ,which has a minimum charge of 190.00. My complaint is that Chuy's Towing are bulling the customers at The Rematito and are going into the parking lot and towing vehicles for no reason other that trying to make money on their tows. I paid 190.00 in a form of credit card. 11/06/2013 jls BBB RECEIVE BUSINESS RESPONSE : i am Jesus from Chuy's towing regarding of because this case, rigo was parking in double line taking two spaces we have the photos and we have the sigs in the sings explaining people before they go inside the property, but people don't respect the property and we have to do our work. we don't give any commission to the owner of the property, so the part that he explains we are a sister company is a false statement. also he didn't explain the part that he calls he was harassing the employer and also when he came to get his car, the next day had a police officer that we find out that was related to him to call our business to intimidated us saying our business illegal, also the point that he explain that we bully people don't make sense because we our just doing our job. Would not even give them a star went to the flea market and parked my vehicle. Chuy's towing company came and towed my vehicle saying it was on private property. Good Samaritan gave me a ride to Chuy's towing. The guy was so rude was charging me $200 to get my vehicle out said $200 an hour when my vehicle was not even there for an hour. Told him to show me what time he picked up my vehicle he wouldn't provide any documentation on what time he had picked up my vehicle kept saying it was $200. I had no choice but to pay because he wouldn't let my vehicle out. This company is dishonest and taking advantage of people. Would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

My boyfriend's car broke down in Ceres and they towed his car all the way to Newman (25 miles away) for an affordable price. They don't charge by the mile which is great. The guy who helped us was extremely nice and quick. Great service! read more
