Worst tow truck company. The owner Chris is rude and spoke to me with a condescending tone. He had nothing to say about the way his driver treated me all because of a miscommunication on Triple A's end. His tow truck driving yelled at me and cursed me out insinuating that we were trying to bullshit him when we specifically notified triple a that we had not paid for our car to be released. It's unfortunate that I've had to use Ceres pro tow so often (don't buy a Ford). At least they are always helpful and kind. I use AAA, but I'd pay out of pocket for their service because the quality is great. They even were able to tow when I didn't have my car key. They make good time and have availability Everytime I request a tow. This morning a very nice and professional driver came to the rescue. Their nickname is Ducky, so I knew he was going to cheer me up in a depressing situation. I appreciated his kindness and ability to complete the task skillfully. I was very stressed and they had even helped me by talking to the price Ford intake counter on my behalf, since I had heard nothing back from them. The customer service provided was the best of all the companies I've ever encountered before. Driver tried his best not to warranty. My battery. Said I needed to drive car more. first he said you have to drive it every couple of months. I told him every three weeks I drive it around town. I take my family on trips when I can. He said it wasn't enough. Jumpstarted car said battery was fine than left. I drove car like he said to charge battery died 1 blocked on away would not help me said it's not Warranty then blame my alternator. He never tested alternator or battery battery correctly bad service Ricardo by looking at the other reviews, bad customer service. Go somewhere else. Edit: this was quickly resolved when the owner of the company called me and promised to make things right. I hate to leave them a one star review, but my experience has been very poor with them these recent times. I have bought batteries from Chris & his team going back several years. That have been very helpful in the past, but this time they came up short and refused to make things right. For backstory, someone had tried to steal my van the other day. They broke into my car and left a drain on the battery. When I noticed it wasn't starting, I tried to jump the van only to realize my jumper cables and a few belongings were stolen. I realized I would probably need a new battery and called AAA to get in touch with CPT to see if my current one was under warranty. The guy they sent out was a red-haired man with a very scraggly beard. He connected his battery pack and jumped my car. He said I still had charge on my battery and insisted that it was another electrical issue and suggested I confer with a mechanic. He said he wouldn't charge me a call in the moment, which I thought was cool. I drove my van to the mechanic and this is where the trouble started. The mechanic called and said my van did indeed have a battery problem. I called AAA again to get back in touch with Ceres Pro Tow and they sent out another guy. The mechanic charged me money just to look at it, and when the battery tech came out, he performed yet another test and realized that I did, indeed need a new battery. The one I had when I bought it was under a five year warranty. Now, I found out that my five year warranty had been cut to three years and my battery would have cost twice as much now if it weren't pro-rated based on the old warranty. Anyway, the man was very helpful and friendly. Again, pricey, but nonetheless a necessary expenditure. Anyway, I thought it was unnecessary that I had to make two calls, and consult a third party to get the result I could have had if the first guy had done his job right. I called Ceres Pro Tow today to see if they wanted to make this right. The sales manager I had spoken to was more interested in defending the dust guy who didn't do the job right. "He didn't charge you a call! It was good you got a second opinion!" was his defense. My brother in Christ, if the first man had correctly diagnosed the problem, I wouldn't be down and out the fee for the mechanic telling me what I already knew it was. And now you want to tell me your first guy did right? I'm good. I saw I wasn't making headway, so I got off the phone with the sales manager and wrote this review instead. Do better guys. read more

Belongings were touched and stolen from the car, promised that "we can come to the yard anytime" to get our stuff. 0 stars, would not recommend. Wow...these people are con artists. I bought a brand new battery on 6/2/2020 and it died, still under warranty. When I called they told me to contact Triple A for re-imbursement (the battery was purchased from Ceres Pro Tow while they were under contract with AAA as a vendor and service provider) and that they would not replace the battery (which they claimed was out of stock) with another of equal value or reimburse me the cash. Their prices are reasonable for tow services but I will never use their service again for any reason, good prices or not. A warranty is a warranty, which I believe is a legal contract. If you can't trust a legal contract, what CAN you trust? Badly done guys read more

Would not recommend! Wanted to tower my Nissan 330ZX from the mechanics house to my house as the car still needs to be smogged and registered. I called AAA and two hours latter Ceres Pro tow showed up with a young driver. He wanted the car turned around so he could hook it from the front. the front is all plastic with no tower hooks, so I asked him to tow it from the back as there are factory tow hooks on the rear. He said the hooks would tear out. Then he told me, since the cars tags were not current he could no tow it. He said AAA would not cover it. Then I asked how much to tow without AAA. He let me talk to his manager and then he talk to the manager and they decided to refuse service. He said it was because I was difficult for asking him to hook from the back. He obviously had no experience towing the 300zx and it showed. be fore he left he wanted to make sure I gave him a good review! Talk about screwed up priorities! The driver was arrogant and dismissive of my concerns. Quality service to the customer was very low on his list. 2 hour wait, unwilling to listen, poor attitude, condescending. Yeah, that sums it up. We spoke to this company RE: a car we sold to a person who then decided to get a DUI in it. Got it impounded. This happen over a year ago. They tried to bill us, for a car that DMV confirms is in the new owners name. Now we just received a $3500 bill from a collection agency that this company referred us to. Even after we informed them that the car no longer is owned by us. How you going to try and ruin the credit of hard working folks because you towed the car of some alcoholic and can't collect from him? He was quick opening my car door, very polite and (after a very long day) truly made the experience as painless as possible. He left no damage to my Challenger (a HUGE relief) and arrived almost half an hour sooner than AAA had estimated. I would not recommend this tow company to anyone, the Modesto Police Department found my stolen trailer on a Friday night and Dispatch this tow company to pick the trailer up... I got a call from the Turlock Police Department on Sunday morning telling me that the trailer was recovered and at this location... I called immediately and spoke to somebody on the phone that didn't know anything about my trailer and told me I would have to call back during the week hours... To make a long story short I called right away on Monday and I spoke with someone they told me the bill for the tow and storage was $450! I couldn't believe how much they wanted so I had called my insurance company and the insurance company had done some research and found that this was a regular practice of this company to charge high prices.The person I spoke to that Ceres Pro Tow told me if I brought them The title to the trailer but they would not put me in collections if they kept the trailer... That sounds pretty shady to me and it also sounded pretty shady to my insurance company... Modesto Police Department should look into using an honest tow company... read more
