What an interesting little post office in the Crichton area of Mobile…read more I needed to mail out my Christmas cards, which I had accidentally spilled water all over earlier that day. I went in and there was no one in line so I went straight to the window. I bought 30 stamps as well as a cute card. Who knew you could buy cards at the post office? They have a decent selection and they're fairly inexpensive. I told the lady at the window that I was totally blaming that spilled water on the post office. She smiled and winked and told me to bring them inside to the window next time instead of dropping them in the outside box. I put stamps on my cards and dropped them in the inside box and was on my way within just a few minutes. The runner at my office recommended this post office because he said it's never busy, and he was right. The post lady was super friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately, after close inspection of the nearby trees, I had no luck finding the elusive Mobile leprechaun. Maybe I'll go back in March. ;)

Very slow and the workers are having too much fun joking and flirting and ignoring growing lines…read more This place badly needs to be reviewed by the postal service and although I realize (because an older member of the branch told me this) that they cannot be fired or even really disciplined it is worth avoiding this branch if you can. It is a pity in this day and age to encounter a branch of the postal service performing at this inefficient, non-professional and non-caring level.

The rating of "not good" is still too high, but here it is in a nutshell:…read more I buy alot of items from Amazon and some of the times there are returns. I follow the instructions to the letter, re-box when needed and print the QR code for them to scan because often times I am not the one returning the item physically. IT NEVER FAILS, every (and I mean every) time we go to this particular branch, it's the same story. The owner, clerk or package handler, or whatever her title may be is EXTREMELY RUDE and seemingly finds fault with everything. She once talked my husband (returning the package) into purchasing a box we didn't need. It's just outrageous the things people will pull to catch a buck, and this one is a class act (sarcasm.) I continue using this branch, despite the rudeness and BS I have to endure simply because it's closer, and firmly believe that is the only reason most people probably go to that branch, CONVENIENCE!
