They did a great job of repairing the sliding door on our Odyssey minivan at a very reasonable price. We're not planning on holding onto this car for too long, but wanted to make sure the sliding door was working for whoever might be buying our car. Dan was both courteous and patient in tailoring an estimate that fit to what we needed to have done. He was completely honest in letting us know that the power sliding doors can be difficult to fix as the auto-reverse function of the door can be impacted by friction in the door track. When our car came back to us, I was pleased to see that not only did the sliding door work, it worked like it did before we damaged that door. Also, the minor buffing that they did on our paint came out looking so much better than I thought it would. read more

This is an updated review. My Jeep Wrangler (See Photo's in earlier review) was hit by another car while parked at Bellevue Square. There was collision damage done to the passenger side of the Jeep where United Autobody had done earlier customization work. I brought my damaged Jeep back to United Autobody in January, 2022. Once again United Autobody was very responsive with a quote and did all the work with my Insurance company to make the repair happen. When I received my Jeep back from United Autobody it was once again in perfect condition. My Jeep looks like it was never in an accident. I've have each of my 3 cars come to United Autobody for repair. I wish it weren't so, but so it goes :) . In each case, I've had a great experience. They work they do is of excellent quality and the paint color match was great. For my beater car, they gave me a low cost "good enough" option which was perfect for that car. Working with the insurance companies can be kind of a nightmare and I was really happy that the shop handled most of that. They deserve 10 stars I trusted them with repairs of a larger fender bender on my 2022 Hyundai. Initially, when calling 20+ shops, I thought, I would have to wait months to just get an estimate and then months to get the repairs done, until I called United Autobody. Took my car in for bumper and underbody shield replacement, Mark was a great guy to work with, always stayed on top of everything and did all the communications with my insurance and made the experience really easy, he made sure I knew what was going on with the repair along every step. I've never done a review but really need to deliver a huge shout out to these folks. Through the last 7-8 years they've worked with me through the mishaps of two drivers under then the age of 25. ( ie, insurance /ouch). Offering cheaper alternatives ( such as does the bumper need to be painted on a 13 plus year vehicle. Actually looked better in black.). Best: always excellent work and always a superlative value. Now today was my turn. Rear panel was sprung and some parking garage paint transfer things. Came in for an estimate. The owner came out and worked on it himself for a bit and unbelievably fixed the vast majority on the spot. Got into an auto accident almost a month ago. Got rear ended while I was in a full stop at a stop light. After the accident, was referred by insurance company to go to United Autobody. Was greeted by Dan. Very helpful and clean shop. I also noticed that the the shop working on pretty nice cars and doing a great job repairing them. Back to Dan, he knows what he was doing. Took pictures of damage and gave me the break down with what will be fixed and how long it will take. Later I called the insurance company and they already received the pictures that Dan took. Justin @ United was pleasant to work with, kept me informed, and the outcome was 4 out of 5 stars which I will explain later. Had a front bumper and grill replaced - no serious structure damage. They have at least two competing rental car agencies nearby that offer shuttle service. The bumper paint looks like a very close match. I inspected it from top/bottom, inside/out when I got home and the bumper has good finish, no orange peel, fisheye, etc. It looks as good as factory quality. I was truly prepared to give 5 out of 5. My only hesitation is that I drove up to see my new car being washed in the hot sun with a chamois that was black as mop water! The hard water was drying all over the windows and etches are so hard to remove. ;( I knew I was going to get swirl marks in the paint on my 2010 car, and it made me scream on the inside but it's my fault for not demanding "no car wash, please" prior to the drop off. I'm extremely picky and I detail my cars with a Porter Cable 7424 DA buffer with Pinnacle waxes. I had a few interior problems with some buffing residue on the door handles and stuff. They did vacuum out the dirty interior though and did a good job. My only suggestion is that if they want to wash a customers vehicle, they should invest in some proper micro fiber wash cloths and properly rotate a clean chamois. I would just expect a body shop to adhere to proper care of clearcoat finishes. Otherwise, why bother buffing to a shine if the final wash is going to use unsavory prep materials? I will use United Auto Body in the future. read more

Amazing! I am so beyond happy with my experience. I chose this place after checking out a couple of others not so much for price but because the gentleman at the front desk, Dan Dodge, was so personable. They were able to get me in quickly and the service took less time than I had expected. I had messed up my bumper and the new one was perfect. I was happy with the service itself but when I got inside the interior was clean! I'm a mother of two so I can tell you that the car was a long ways from clean but they wiped everything down, vacuumed and put everything neatly in a box for me. I hope the owners read this post because who ever cleaned that car deserves a day off to make up for all the work they put in. A kid ran into the side of my 2016 WRX and dented/scratched the rear door. I'm pretty OCD about my car and was very worried about getting it repaired and not having it look perfect. United Autobody has been around since I was a kid, so I decided to give them a try. When I walked in, they had an Audi, an escalade and a Lotus that they were doing body work on, which I figured that was a good sign. The guy I talked to was very helpful and reassuring. He explained that not all car paint is the same. The paint and the process they use is not only warrantied by them, but is warrantied by Subaru as well. The work they did to repair my WRX was absolutely phenomenal. The door is completely flawless and it looks factory new; I couldn't be happier. They were very reasonably priced, but I would gladly pay extra to have them do any future work, just because I know that it was going to be done right. read more

I moved to Issaquah after 3 years of living in downtown Seattle. In the three years I lived downtown, my car got several dings and scratches as well as a huge dent on the side of the front bumper from the parking garages at work and home - people downtown seem to park in tight spaces "by feel". Now that I live in Issaquah where people don't seem to do this, I decided to get some of the damage fixed. I took my car to United Auto Body after reading the good yelp reviews they received. Their website didn't have much information besides their location and phone number, but when I called, they said just come by any time they were open. So I did. They wrote up separate estimates for three areas that were damaged, and were very candid in explaining all my options, pros and cons of filing insurance claims etc. I decided to have them replace the front bumper while I mull over what to do about the other areas that have some damage. They finished this work ahead of schedule and the result is perfect. They also did what they could for some of the other surface damage, and overall, even the things I didn't ask them to fix look a lot better (they didn't charge me for this). So to summarize, my experience was that the folks at United Auto Body are friendly, knowledgeable and do excellent work - on time, and at a fair price.
