I have to admit that I didn't have a good impression of this place before. Why? Back in 2023 summer when I was looking for a body shop, my neighbor referred me to Doug's Auto. I called many times, and finally someone picked up the call and told me to email some photos. On the phone, he also mentioned that the schedule was like at least two months ahead. I was willing to wait, so I emailed the photos. Since then, despite many follow-ups by emails and calls, no response from them at all. I had to give up and turned to other auto body shops for help. This year, my teenage son drive my car and rear ended someone else, so insurance company referred this place to me as it's the closest one to my house. Although I could find my own body shop and get the reimbursement later, I decided not to deal with the insurance company directly to save some work. Therefore, I finally gave this place a try. This time, with some heads-up from the insurance company to the business, someone picked up the phone call right away and already had all my vehicle and insurance information. I was able to get an appointment within a week for an estimate. The estimated price was a bit higher than I had expected, but with insurance company's scrutiny, the price came down. After the estimate was approved by the insurance company, they were able to schedule me for the repair in two weeks. In fact, this happened just right after the big power outage that caused delays, so it was much faster than I had expected. It took about more than two weeks to complete due to some delay in the parts, which I could totally understand and wouldn't complain. In the middle of repair, they found other issues not covered under the insurance and notified me immediately. The price was a bit high, so with some negotiation, they were willing to work with me to honor a lower rate, which I appreciated very much. Throughout the entire process, Sergey did a great job in communication. When I went to pick up my car, I saw a beautiful work done on my car. Plus, they did a car wash, not only exterior but also interior. I felt like getting a new vehicle after the repair. I would definitely recommend this place. And if your insurance company works with them, this would be your first choice for sure! read more

Their customer service!! I meant to send a review weeks ago but I got a little distracted! I stopped by a couple weeks ago to get an estimate on how much a couple dents on my '99 Corolla --yup vintage --would cost. Well, they're so popular that I was told I would first need to make an appointment to get an estimate & that would be in a couple weeks & after that another appointment for the work. Right then the owner, manager, or "the dude in charge" walked in so I asked him, if he didn't mind, if he could take a quick look at my "piece of tin", my words & so he did. He looked at it & gave me an honest answer: it wasn't worth spending money to get it fixed! But then, get this, he "undented" --that's my made up word--by pulling out the metal with BRUTE FORCE!! He used a rubber mallet & I gotta say it looks WAY BETTER!! I insisted on paying for his labor & time but he refused! He said just buy a box of donuts for his staff!! ANYWAY, if ever I bash up a brand new car, or at least one purchased in this century, I will DEFINITELY bring my business to Doug's Auto Collision Center!! read more

I forgot how I originally heard about Doug's Auto Collision Center - maybe I saw people saying good things about them on Facebook. My Toyota Corolla had a few large cosmetic issues from a parking garage mishap. Doug's gave the fairest estimate out of the 3 places I visited, so I decided to work with them. They were able to schedule me in very quickly and were flexible with my timing needs. They did the job well and on time. I interacted with Steve and Doug during this process, and they were both really great. When I asked for some extra paint to touch up small scratches, Steve asked me to return another day to pick it up, which I did. I was about to leave with the paint when Doug knocked on my window and offered to apply the touch up paint for me! I was extremely pleased with my experience at Doug's. Quality repairs done in a timely fashion. Friendly and efficient people (and great rock & roll themed office decor). I'd scraped my driver's door on a pillar (my bad!) and had visited a couple other shops for repair estimates. At both non-Doug's places, I 1) had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment for the estimate and 2) once there, got estimates of $1500-3000 because "we won't know 'til we get the door apart." Plus they wouldn't be able to take my car for another 2 months (I wasn't one of their priority insurance company customers) and I'd need to be prepared to be without it for 10-90 days because "supply chain issues." Srsly?? Then, at my local Subaru dealership, I noticed that they referred body work inquiries to Doug's. Heckuva recommendation! Doug's website said they did drop-in estimates so I did. Steven gave the car a thorough inspection and wrote me up a solid quote. Pricing was competitive with other shops but no waffling around with "We won't know until.." A specific price & timeline for the work. Once I'd had a chance to review Doug's quote, I emailed the office to get scheduled in . Easy peasy. Car went in about ten days later and I had it back in a week. Looking good as new. Repair is undetectable. Excellent job blending the paint from the door to the rest of the body. And, although I don't remember this being a part of the deal, I think they did a mini detail because the interior was immaculate and smelled like Ivory soap. read more

Reading through all the other reviews I thought using Doug's Auto Collision would have been a good experience. After dealing with them for 2 weeks and having them redo their work twice I have decided enough is enough and I don't want them working on my vehicle anymore. They might be decent at replacing parts and getting your car back on the road for a decent price but their quality of workmanship is very poor and even though they are willing to do it again and fix their mistake, they still can't get it right. So if you just want your car fixed and you don't care how good it is then by all means use Doug's they seem like a honest shop. But if you expect any kind of quality I would not suggest them. read more

My 09 Highlander passenger side was damaged from the front bumper to the rear tire. The front suspension also was damaged. Doug's initial estimate was comparable to other shops I visited. I just felt more comfortable with the effort put into the estimate and felt they would be the best choice. I was not disappointed. Steve was great to work with. My only issue was around the parts logistics issues and the insurance company driving their feet. Nothing Doug's could have done. My vehicle looks like new. Steven here worked some serious magic on a hard placed dent near the hood on a rather tricky panel -- this wasn't some easy soft door panel ding. He saw photos sent by cell -- and knew right away he could take the job on. I was worried he was perhaps too optimistic. My experience with dents in places that affect the line and shape of the car haven't been the best, but I got a fair estimate with the news I could pick-up the car the next day. Car was finished by 9AM He even went as far to try and take out a tree branch scrape I had across the hood of my 2021 jeep trailhawk while buffing out some other scratches. Cool hard working dude -- no bs, all on time; and on price. I hope to never need their services again -- finger's crossed -- but if I do I know exactly where to go. read more

Low quality paint and body work. Avoid. I needed a new spoiler on my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. Doug's was recommended by Michaels Subaru so I trusted the quality of the work. They ordered a non painted spoiler rather than the factory painted spoiler and botched both the paint job and the install. The spoiler was not flush with the body of the car, and there were multiple bubbles in the paint. I asked them to fix it and they sanded the bubbles (see photos) and tightened down the spoiler a little. I once again told them I was unhappy with the work and asked them to get the painted spoiler from Subaru. Once they got the new part, they installed it and I was finally happy with the paint job. When picking up the car I noticed something dripped on my bumper. It was some chemical used at the shop. The chemical dried on my bumper and they couldn't remove it. They sanded it off and redid the clear coat my bumper. The bumper has terrible waves and runs in the clear coat, AKA Orange Peel. let me reiterate, my BUMPER, has terrible paint quality by Doug's after I brought my brand new car to have the SPOILER fixed. Every time I look at my car all I see is the horrible paint job on the bumper and it's so frustrating. This ordeal took over a month, tons of trips to the shop, and by the time I got it back with bad paint job on the bumper I was afraid for them to touch my car again. I'm looking for a different shop to fix or replace the bumper if possible. read more

In three different parking lots, three different people hit my car in three different places. Two insurance companies, several body shops and a bunch of estimates later, I almost made a huge mistake and let someone else do the work. I was concerned primarily about the cost, then the length of time they needed my car and then the quality of their work. After doing all of the work, giving me some excellent advice and working creatively with my Ins Co, the cost was well below any of the other shops. The other places needed a minimum of two weeks but couldn't schedule the work for weeks. Doug's took 10 days and GAVE me a loaner car for that time. As for quality? The pics tell the story. Letting anyone else do this work would have been a giant mistake. They have earned my gratitude, my trust and 100% loyalty should the need arise again. I don't think my work was handled in any special way. Based on what I saw and heard there, I think it is just the way they do business. read more

So it's been a little over a month after I had one of my cars repaired here after an accident, and I'm happy to say that I have absolutely zero complaints. Right after the car accident there was a lot of pressure to find the right body shop. The insurance company was recommending a few places but their reviews were terrible. So after spending some time researching and personally visiting a few shops I was confident that Doug and his team would meet my expectations. Well not only did they have my car 2 weeks longer than they should have it was not even complete when I came to pick it up. I had to return two more times to get a decal installed and a roof molding.
