Pro: they did a great job fixing the scratches/dent on my door. Con: poor timeline estimates and communication. First, I had to schedule more than 2 months ahead of time. I chose them because even though other places could take my car sooner, they all said it would take 1 week or so, where as Fix Auto verbally said 3-4 days and printed 5 days on my quote. Nevertheless, when I dropped off my car on a Monday morning and tried to confirm the expected pickup date, they denied the promise and said it would be a week, which was still understandable as per the average time (but keep in mind I already waited for 2+ months). Then, starting on the 4th day I tried to call in and check on the progress, they said it will extend into the following week. Called the following Monday/Wednesday, still got no confirmation on expected completion (the answers were vague, ex "we will try", "we can't rush", "maybe within the next few days", etc.). I eventually got a call Thursday 4pm ish, which is 9 business days in total, but they close at 5 everyday so had to pick up on the 10th day. It is difficult to coordinate rental/transit if you don't own a second vehicle and don't know what to plan for. On top of that, the front desk lady was sassy and a bit impatient during communications. For example, when I missed their call for pick up and saw no voice message (could be my phone's problem since they declared they left one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯）, I called back saying I missed a call from them. To be honest, insurance companies are a joke and they will do all they can to save money and get you the cheapest repair job. Their "so-called" authorized collision centers/body shops will only do the repairs specified by the insurance estimator. In essence, the repairs will be the absolute minimum and your interests are out the window. At Lakeside, they are not linked to these insurance companies and they serve YOUR interests and want to ensure that YOU, the customer is taken care of. One of the other reviews I have read really struck me as true. If your car is hit, not only is that part of your car damaged, there could be damage to the other parts. Details to how the work is done and their attention to workmanship is apparent here. Service also is second to none. I was very disappointed in Fix Auto. They have typically done reasonable work but the last time I used them I had a bad experience. First, they made a mistake in fixing the car that required I keep a rental car for several extra days. They acknowledged their mistake but were unwilling to pay for the extra rental car time. What's more, they strung me along for quite some time and then the owner was unwilling to share with me directly why he refused to provide the rental car payment. INTERIOR DOOR TRIMS STOLEN while at Fix Auto ($1200). Owner said he would replace them and now ignores calls and emails, even after admitting they were originally on the car. Also, stolen iPod: We brought an otherwise pristine 2010 Audi S-5 in for some bodywork (in MARCH 9th) after a parking lot collision. It also had a key scratch on the door, which looked worse after they tried to fix it. This has been a nightmare. 3 months, $1,200 damage while at Fix Auto and nothing. My son picked up the car, and couldn't get ahold of us about what to do. We were not there to see that two long strips of chrome trim had been removed from the interior door of the car. The owner Daryl asked if we thought we might have removed them. Why would I do that, first of all. I would have no reason or knowledge of why or how to remove them. Again, this car had recently been detailed by Metropolitan in Bellevue. It was in PERFECT condition inside. The owner went on to admit in a phone call, that they removed ONE of them to access something. But not the other. So he admitted that they took one off, and the other was there, at one point. He said he can't imagine that anyone there would take them (?), then informed us that the parts are worth $400-$600 ea. It seems obvious that it was an inside job and either an employee removed them or someone unauthorized to be there, or the car was left unlocked and unsecured. Side note, because the car was a 2010 it was retrofitted in the glovebox for an iPod/iphone hook up. That wire was ripped out along with an old iPod that had been there for years. He takes weeks to get back to us, he's asked for pictures 3-4 times. The parts were taken while they had possession of the car, and we are now having to move through our credit card company and small claims court because they won't do the right thing. That he can't imagine who would take them is not the point, it happened under his watch, and now, he apparently expects us to find the parts and pay $1,200 to replace them? He has insurance for this, we don't. I don't even like to drive my car, it looks terrible with the insides of the doors exposed, so we are reminded of the theft and lack of accountability every time we drive it. People unfortunately steal things, but when you own a business and it happens under your watch, you are responsible. It is incomprehensible that the owner of this company will not make it right/do the right thing, and we have to waste more time pursuing this. read more

I recently had our car fixed at Fix Auto Bellevue after our daughter rear ended an SUV with a trailer hitch. The car was an old vehicle with very few miles and we did not have collision coverage. We went to Fix Auto based on the reviews on Yelp. Rob, the manager seems to be very honest and knowledgable, understanding our situation. He told us that had this been covered by insurance the vehicle would be considered totaled. The price he gave to fix the car was a lot of money but a little less than the blue book value. He told us that there was no major damage to the engine and the repair involved replacing the radiator, hood, bumper cover, and fenders. He told us the car would be fixed without any problems after the repair. We decided to trust Rob and Okayed the repair. After 2 weeks we called and were told the car was finished. However, they noticed a problem with the seat belts and SRS sensors. He told us they do not repair the seatbelt and sensors and would have to contact a third party. The estimate for the additional charges came to another $2000. Had we known this we would not have chosen to repair the car. I asked Rob to help us out with the extra charges since he should have told us about the problems with the sensor and seat belts prior to starting on the repair. He told me this was not something they do and was not willing to help us with the additional costs. He then told me that they had completed the repairs they agreed to and we needed to pick up the car and pay for the repairs as soon as possible or else he would start charging us $100 per day for storage. I realize that additional things can come up during the repair process, but I would assume that seat belts and SRS sensors would be one of the first things that are inspected in a vehicle (after an accident). The condition of the seat belts and SRS sensors should have been provided to the customer prior to starting on a major auto body repair especially when the customer is paying for the cost from his pocket. It addition, Rob's reaction to his mistake was not acceptable, I am writing this review to make other aware that Rob and Fix Auto Bellevue can not be trusted and should be avoided. read more

I took my son's car over to Fix this morning. The car had slid into a metal post, bending the side front panel, and the front passenger door wouldn't open. Daryl came outside, looked at the car, got some tools and spent 15 minutes adjusted the front panel so that I could open the door again. Picked up my car yesterday evening - FLAWLESS! Wow - it was absolutely flawless. They even cleaned the interior. It was like the day I drove it off the lot. It was great to receive updates automatically on my phone. They let me know what was going on. For a super busy shop, the entire staff made me feel like I was the only one there. They were all professional and wanted to make sure I had all my questions answered. It was a great experience for a something that is not very fun to have to deal with. This is actually the fourth time I have used them - first times were when it was Lakeside Collision of Bellevue. Love these guys! Highly recommend. Make sure that if you ever get in an accident that you have the right to have your vehicle repaired where you want - not where the insurance company dictates and never, never, never just take a check from them before repairs are complete. Once you take their check, you cannot go back for more money if additional repairs are required. I was glad I did that as there was an additional $325 in repairs that the claims adjuster had missed. So my wife called and scheduled an appointment on Saturday. (They don't open on Saturdays, but the owner Chuck will come in for the customers need) Met the Owner, Chuck. Great guy, very friendly. So we decided to let them work on my car. Linda from the front desk has been on top it , very easy to communicate. Ryen from the shop has been really cool as well, got a lot of good information from him. Picked up my car, and the bumper looked great. They also gave me a small bottle of the paint touch up kit. Fix Auto Bellevue (Lakeside Collision) is a fantastic local business that you know you can trust. I visited them for a minor door dent repair quote and the staff was friendly, quick and personable. What impressed me the most is that they provided me a price quote for a complete repair (to look new again) but then also said that it can be done in a very good fashion with only minor imperfections with painless dent removal for a 1/5 of the price. They were honest and let me know that their shop would not be the most cost effective for what I needed done. A complete repair with them would have been around $700. For fun, I took it to another auto body shop (Gerber) who said my door would need replaced (FOR A DENT!!) and it would cost at least $2,000. I visited a painless dent removal place and my estimate for a highly rated company was just under $100. If you are in need of auto body work, I highly recommend and trust Fix Auto Bellevue. I will also add in listening to another guest quote, they take the time to clearly explain what is going on, the risks of damage that can not be seen until repairs are started and the why's behind this. I did my caliper painting here and it was fine. However I didn't notice they damaged my wheels till 3 weeks later. These are hard to notice especially when the new caliper color gave a pop and got all the attention. I guess they stacked my wheels so exactly 3 out of 4 are damaged on the rim- the scratches. These AMG wheels are 2k each I'm not sure why they took care of them so poorly after took them off the rotor. I take care of my car super well. It's a 2017 new AMG. Right Before I gave to them i did wheel wash myself by hand so I'm sure they were perfect. When they give car back to me, there were rim scratches already but just hard to notice(see the photo and you will know why its hard to notice but also it's a BIG damage). How it was damaged must be due to scratching something when set aside(I guess stacked. That's why it's 3 out of 4 damaged similarly. Last one on top so no damage). And their photo proved it too(taken by them and shared with me at the service day, attached ) when I noticed the scratches and looking for cause, their photo help me confirm it's indeed their rough handling the wheels.
