I bought a brand new car and my 5 year old took a rock and decided to draw on it. The damage was extensive with some really deep scratches. They are able to get me in right away and immediately were so nice. They were so nice to me right off the bat. I was already so upset about what my son had done and didn't want to deal with this. But they were so gracious, and got to work on it right away. Their communication was fantastic throughout the process. They had to sand it down for a few hours, and the gentleman who did the work was an absolute perfectionist. He brought me out to take a look as he was close to finishing it and said it looked better but he couldn't quite get everything out. I don't even know what he was talking about because it looked perfect!! He truly did an incredible job and was meticulous. He said to get it perfect he'd have to rough it up and paint the car which would cost a lot and didn't want to have me go through it. I appreciate their interest in saving me money and frankly was just thrilled with how it turned out. I will go back there in a heartbeat. UPDATE: Took one of our other cars in to have repair work done on the door before selling it. Again, great service and did exactly what I asked them to do. Easy to schedule an appointment, fast turnaround, and very nice people. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Excellent service, very knowledgeable about their business, and perfect work! Nicole came out and did a thorough inspection. She separated the accident damage from other minor dings an paint issues, and gave me some "do it yourself" tips for rock chips that would cost a lot to re-paint because of their location on the car. They beat the quote from my insurance-contracted shop (I shopped around since damage was below my deductible). They even gave me a take-home bottle of the paint for my car so I could fix the minor dings. I also got a referral to a detail shop, which would be more cost-effective than having the body shop do it, if I didn't want to try it myself. Sweet! If Orion was at the Bellevue location (they have one in Kirkland, too) it must have been a major fluke that the service was flaky. Awesome, awesome, awesome. Okay, so, body shops are the last place you really want to end up. However, if you DO find yourself in need a good body shop, Lakeside is the best out there. I came in the day after I was in an accident; an accident that left the first 12 inches of my car demolished. The people there (especially Brent) were so willing to work with me, even in my emotional state. They made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it and gave me real, honest answers. They didn't try to sell me weird upgrades or anything sketchy. I felt completely comfortable. They even called if they found the most minor cosmetic flaw. I came across Lakeside Collission Center after a disappointing estimate appointment at Precision Collission in Bellevue. After checking the raving reviews on Google, I called to set up an appointment. I think it was Tom that answered the phone and said "you don't need an appointment, just stop on by and we'll take care of you!" I liked this. The next day I came into the shop to get an estimate (I was rear-ended and my SUV had bumper damage). Brent, the manager, quickly took care of me after finishing up with another client. There was absolutely no pressure to fix my car here, but I did. Brent got on the phone while I was there, and spent several minutes calling around and finding all the parts he needed to get the work done. I liked this too. The next day I dropped of my car and again, everything went smoothly. Brent called a rental car company and they picked me up and placed me in a rental car. A couple of days later, my car was fixed and it looks brand new! Having this accident has been very stressful, but finding Brent and Lakeside Collission has been amazing. They made this time in my life better by treating me with respect and honesty, watching out for my best interests, and making sure everything (work, rental, payment by other party) went smoothly. I had the misfortune of unknowingly backing my CRV into a friend's parked car leaving my office one night. She recommended me to Lakeside. They did the repairs promptly and for a fair price. While paying the bill, I asked for an estimate on replacing damage to the antenna on my CRV. Unlike the auto body shop the dealer referred me to, they found a way to do the repair without unnecessary work and parts and completed in the job in under 4 hours. In fact, the final bill was LESS than the quote! My only complaint - you guys have to get better signage! It is almost impossible to see from Bel-Red Road. Hard to find, but worth it when you do. Our car was hit when the roads turned icy this winter. My wife took our car to several collision shops for estimates and we were a bit surprised to see that the estimate for Lakeside was quite a bit less than the other repair shops. My wife also told me after receiving the estimates that she felt best about having the repair work done at Lakeside over the other places. We received our car back a couple of days ago and we are very happy with the work that they did and especially for Ryen and all of his great help in doing the estimate and spending time with us showing us what they did to fix the car. They even replaced a headlight light bulb that was out for free! Lakeside does something that far too few companies do these days -- focus on the customer. I had a great experience, and strongly recommend that anyone with car body issues take their car there. My story: I bought a Mustang a couple months back, and an inattentive driver rear-ended me on my commute one day. The damage was relatively minor (some paint scratches, as well as some mis-alignment of the bumper), so I took it to Lakeside. I had my car again in a couple of days. When I wasn't entirely happy with the new fit (and trust me, they did great work -- I just have OCD), they politely worked on it until I was satisfied. Lakeside was incredible. My car was about a hundred dollars away from being totalled and now it looks better than it did when I bought it. This is now the second time I've taken my cars to Lakeside Collision center, and I'm compelled to write a review for the great services I got. Lakeside, in my opinion, is simply the best bodyshop on the east side, for the following reason: 1) Their customer services is superb. Brent is just the best bodyshop owner I've ever worked with. In the last 10 years, I've dealt with at least four different shops in the Seattle area (I'm unlucky that way), and no one has explained the work they do as clearly as Brent has. Instead of the generic (but often false) promise "we'll take care of it for you", Brent really meant it and explained it to me down to the details how he plans to repair the damages, pros and cons of each approach, and what it'll cost me. He's also the only one who looked after my interests and dealt with the insurance company to get the best results, not just in terms of the dollar amount, but in terms of what's best for the car, for the filed claim. 2) Their work is top notch. I have now had both of my cars repaired at Lakeside. Both times the result came out great. I am a very detail oriented man, and I notice every little imperfection. First of all, Lakeside's body repair is almost perfect, I can't tell the difference after the repair compare to OEM. Second of all, they do a really thorough paint job and uses top of the line equipment to achieve OEM-like finish. Some slight imperfections are often unavoidable, and Lakeside guarantees their work for life. They have repair the slightest imperfections on my car with no additional cost. 3) Their turn around time is blazing fast. Both of my cars spent less than 3 working days in the shop. And despite the fast turn around, the work quality remains high. I'm an enthusist who cares about my cars, and I feel confident to have Lakeside taking care of any body repairs. Both of my cars has metalic body paint, which is very hard to match correctly. With Lakeside's work, I can't tell the difference between the OEM and their paint, which is testament to the work. read more

I had my Mercedes CLS500 shipped from Los Angeles and had some paint damage from the shipper. I found Lakeside Collision after searching for a reputable place online. I took my car there and was met by Ryen. He made sure my front bumper was taken care of properly. Ryen also discovered that my front bumper was being held together by a metal plate+screws due to a hack job. The hack job was caused by some valet at Burbank Airport taking my car for a joy ride and causing an accident and not notifying me about this. Because I was going to pay for the repair out of pocket, I was concerned about the cost but also wanted quality workmanship and good customer service. With Lakeside, I got all three. Chris worked with me to figure out how much I was willing to spend and my expectations for the repair. He was very flexible about finding a way to keep the costs down. My repair only took one day, and with their special Yelp deal my rental car was free of charge. I was very impressed by how fast the repair took and in Chris' terrific communication. Brent and crew at Lakeside Collision Center were outstanding to work with. If you are being careful enough to read reviews on yelp before choosing an auto body place, know that you can chose Lakeside with confidence. I had received a few estimates on replacing a tail-light and smoothing out a significant dent in my car, but my insurance company had Lakeside on their list of preferred vendors so I gave them a call. Not only was their estimate more thorough, they needed the car only three days instead of the 10 days most other shops wanted. (Apparently they estimate in real time on an 8 hour day vs. a 5 hour day most shops use.) Their pricing was very reasonable and Brent did a good job in showing me exactly what they were going to do. He caught things on the car that none of the other shops had including some stress fractures that were created in the chrome trim (which they smoothed out) and replacement of a parking sensor vs. just popping the old one back into place, (which the other shops were going to do.) The car was done on the day it was promised and looks better then new. I would HIGHLY recommend these guys. Their quality of work and outstanding customer service were top-notch. read more

I just picked up my car (2004 Mercedes C230k) and it has never looked better. They did a great job with the minor body work needed on the rear quarter panel (covered by insurance) but went above and beyond by pointing out other minor repairs that could be done at the same time for minimal out-of-pocket cost. They made some touch-up repairs to the bumper and I had them replace broken front fender liners. As they were working on the fender liners they noticed a faulty fog light that they replaced at a great price. They coordinated correspondence with the insurance company for the covered repairs as well as the rental car. They stayed in close contact with me and only did work that I authorized. Their lobby and restroom are modern and clean. Chris and Ryan were great to work with. I have no hesitation in recommending them to my friends and family members. read more

Insurance wanted to declare my 11 year old Corolla a total loss, but it would have been such a waste since the car didn't even have 100,000 miles yet. Just picked up my car today and it looks great. They fixed the auto body damage on my Lexus so beautifully, you can't even tell there was any damage. I found the high review score from Google before I decided to go with Fix Auto Bellevue. However, my experience with this shop is not good and would not recommend to anyone. First, the manager underestimated the price and we had to pay 1000 dollars more when we got our car back. Had I known the price in advance, I would go for a different shop. Although he did claim that there could be something invisible until the technician disassemble the parts. It is still too much difference. Second, the rental car was not booked correctly through Fix Auto. When I made the appointment with Fix Auto Bellevue, the staff booked the rental car through Hertz. We cancelled the Enterprise rental car booked by the insurance company. By the time we arrived at Hertz Bellevue, the Hertz did not have any record for our reservation. We had to go with Hertz at that point with high rate and minimum choice. Later the insurance company called the Hertz and fixed the rate. Third, the initial estimate time was about one week. It got delayed as the fix required the second appraisal from the insurance company. By the time we were called to pick up our car, it was almost 4 weeks later. Last, the shop did not fix everything we asked initially, and two minor touch points on the side were missed. this is consistent with their low service quality. I hope the rest of repair would last. The shop changed the name and probably franchise recently, as we see two different names in the yelp review. I suspect that the owner also changed. Most of reviews were probably based on the previous owner. You might want to try different shop in the same area. read more

I took my car to Fix Auto Bellevue for a body repair. I liked them after talked to them. They candidly ( a bit subjective here) talked about lots of details including what to be done, how to do it, and what materials to use, without I asked for it. My impression is they were very professional and capable. They gave me updates of the repair twice a week. And the job finished on time. I liked experience. I saw everything was fixed nicely, but I am not a mechanic to have too much credits on telling how well/bad it is done. The quality of repair only time will tell. But FixAuto provides life time insurance of what they repaired, so I get peace of mind there. I would recommend their service when unfortunately you need auto fix service.:-) read more

This is a review for the 2 times I had my car serviced with Fix It. In June 2013, I accidentally ran my driver's side car door along the pole in my apartment parking garage. I was working in Bellevue at the time and this place had the best reviews in the area. I brought my car in and I worked with Rob. He provided exceptional customer service. They worked alongside State Farm regarding estimates and payment. My car door was replaced within a week. They even removed wrap that was peeling around my rear view mirrors for no charge. In July of 2015, I was in an accident that resulted in my Mini to be completely inoperable. I called the shop the next day and within an hour, my car was towed to their location. I worked with Leah and Chris. They provided exceptional customer service. They worked alongside State Farm (who proved to be quite a pain in the ass) and updated me daily on the progress of estimates. They even helped me by recommending that my car be deemed a total loss. They took care of the painting and re-buffing in a little over 24 hours and returned my car nice and clean. I brought my 1980's BMW with some front end damage to them. They gave me a quote that was reasonable, especially compared to some other quotes I got. Oscar was the person who handled my business. He was very professional, dealing with my numerous calls and questions. I believe it was his idea to do the above and beyond work I explain later. As they took apart the car they found some more damage that needed addressed to repair the car correctly. I was kind of expecting this. It added some costs to the repairs, but I was more concerned with it being done right. However, it also added a lot of time to the duration of the repairs. Due to the repairs taking linger than originally anticipated they did something that really impressed me. My car can be difficult to find parts for as it is over 30 years old and a German car. They found one of only 3 remaining front air dams in the US in some East Coast warehouse. The front air dam is a big fiberglass piece that goes under the fender, they are notoriously difficult to find and almost anyone who owns this particular car dreams of replacing it. Not only did they find this rare part, they bought it, painted it and installed it. I was almost skeptical when they told me they were doing this. I thought to myself "I'll believe it when I see it". Well, I saw it and it was exactly what they said and it looked amazing. They also did some other work that wasn't reflected in my final price. (Painted some chrome grills black per my request, and gave the hood a fresh coat of paint). After all this the car looks great!!! I've been enjoying driving it in the spring weather. Thanks! Lakeside Collision when above and beyond, in both customer service and quality of work done, when I approached them to paint my aftermarket spoiler. I went to 5 other shops, and it seemed like it was a real inconvenience for them to paint this product. The staff was very professional. The painter was genuinely interested in the project. He was busy, but took the time to review what needed to be done. (The spoiler's 'finishing' was pretty rough from the factory). The correspondence with the manager was prompt and his shop was the only one that provided a professional PDF quote via email on first contact. I had the hood on my wifes car painted there a while back. Now the paint is milky and opaque. So I called for the manager who worked with me on the repair initially, Brent, He was no longer employed there. so I spoke with the manager, Chris, when the problem first arose. sadly now Chris is no longer works there either and now the shop refuses to warranty their work. it seems the company has struggles keeping staff there for any length of time. I was told in no certain terms NO!. For a company that talks about customer service, lifetime warranty and such I struggle with accepting their declining to correct their workmanship problem. Of couse I received a good price on the repair, however, I was not told their warranty was priced based,I would guess a good price comes without a warranty? THAT NEVER CAME UP! That said, I see by other reviews this seems to be a common problem there at LAKESIDE COLLISION CENTER OF BELLEVUE, which is Part of the Canadian collision repair chain of FIX AUTO COLLISION. The last communication I had with them is I was given this as their closing gesture;".. I have no further comments regarding this issue.." My coworker backed up into my car and scratched my rear door and fender. I found this place on Yelp with pretty good reviews so decided to go for it. Everything seemed to be going smoothly until I got the car back. First off, when they brought me to my car, there were 3 guys still wiping it down from the car wash. Upon inspection, there was a deep knick to the new paint job right at the edge of the door. Upon seeing this, they had a guy come out and sandpaper it down and applied some paint to it. At this point, I'm beside myself that they would even do such ameteurish job right in front my me. I would expect them to redo the whole thing. But nope. Then they said that they would give me a free door guard tape on the edge of the door to cover it up. Being pressed for time and decided to just do it. I'm a Realtor and can't be without my car for long. Then a week later, I'm washing my car and find that there is a piece of hair that got stuck in the paint job and can't come off. This place obviously has no quality control and no standards. Stay away from this place at all costs. They don't care about you or the job they do. They do a good talk and can't back it up. read more

I had always taken my cars to lakeside collision when I got in trouble. The last time I brought my car in I noticed much of the staff had changed. Subconsciously I thought uh-oh. I ignored my inner-voice to my detriment. The job they did on my 2008 CX9 was laughable to everyone but me. They had my car for nearly two months. Each time they tried to fix the crap job the car got worse. They left over-spray all over my car and the finish felt like sandpaper. They repaired spot was so glaringly obvious that when I sold my car a got about $4K less than I should have. The damage to my car was minimal, but buyers easily spotted the disaster repair job which set a HUGE concern in their minds. I will never take my vehicles to this shop again. Sad, I've given this shop a lot of business. NEVER AGAIN. read more

Totally impressed with their work. I would recommend them to any of my friends. Phil at Lakeside is friendly and personable and always at the desk. He also has an eerily soothing voice (is that a weird thing to note in a review? nah.). I can't vouch for their prices because it was the other driver who was paying for my repairs. Lakeside was more than happy to talk to the other driver and bill them directly. I came in for a small bumper repair and they happily detailed my car for me inside and out. I didn't ask for it and I kind of secretly hoped they'd give the exterior a wash but they also cleaned the interior and it was like getting into a brand new car. These guys do excellent work. Wow - appalling service. Initially called for an estimate - when I got there - they gave me an estimate and then called a couple of days later for a new estimate. (a thousand dollars higher). After negotiating on the phone they reduced the new estimate - and gave me a pick up date - i called a day before the pick up date - and they said - well the tech has not talked to the estimator: translation: no one has started working on the car yet. WTF???? The last call was a WEEK ago and no one has started working on the car. Now they tell me that the car will take another few days - all these days while my rental car is costing me an arm and a leg. When I asked why did it take so long to give my last phone call's conversation to the tech - she said "we talked at the end of the day" - i checked my phone and the conversation was at 10:38AM! When I told her that, the person said, "well I have it here as 2pm". No apologies, no "our mistake", no customer is treated with priority. I just felt I was being yelled at over the phone. It would have been nice to just give me a longer estimated pick up time, and I would have adjusted my rental car rate to weekly as opposed to daily. read more

I went in to get a quote(on 8/16/2010) for some minor repaint job(around the area of my number plate) for my metallic red toyota camry 09. The guy, his name is Thomas, looked at it and unncessarily tried to convey to me that it is much worse than it is. Anyways, I just listened to him and then he went in to his computer and printed out a quote for me. After taking off my Microsoft discount, he gave me a quote of 1527$ for some minor paint work !!!! This isn't made up or anything - Send me an email and I can send you the exact quote he gave me. You may think that maybe it was that serious - guess what ? the toyota dealership at kirkland had given me a quote for 322$ for the same job and I just came in cause I saw the glamorous reviews and figured they actually might be decent and may offer me a better deal. What is even more disgusting is that in the quote, he said the job will tkae 14.2 hrs of labour ... painting just around the area of number plate should not be taking 14.2 hours, period. If it is you either have incompetent employees or just don't know how to estimate. In any case, I smiled towards him and left without saying a word ... I honestly felt very bad that he tried to fool me by that much of a price difference. If he would said 500-600, I would have not cared about it that much, but 5 times more is ridiculous. My initial impression - look carefully and shop around for the best rates. These guys aren't saints just cause they have decent reviews .. read more

In one word - sloppy. I asked Fix Auto Bellevue to re-spray my front bumper as the Yelp reviews were positive, they were recommended by my insurance company and were the lowest bidder (I decided to pay out of pocket). Everything was initially great as the owner, John, came to talk to me personally and discussed what needed to be fixed and how much it would cost. Appointment booked, car dropped off and my car was ready to be picked up less than two days! I was thinking to myself what a quick turnaround! I show up and started to inspect their work. While I asked them not to blend the bumper into the hood or fenders, I did not expect such a stark color difference. Given that pearl is a difficult color to match and without blending, it's impossible to get it to look perfect, I gave them a pass and kept inspecting his work. I slowly noticed that there were dust specks and other debris trapped in the clear coat. I told John that this was unacceptable and he offered to fix it with a wet sand and buff. While I was skeptical that it would work, I trusted that he was the professional and I made another appointment to have them fix the mistake. Upon closer inspection at home, I noticed that the clear coat had not cured all the way and road debris were now causing divots/smears in the bumper. I brought this up with John at our appointment where he said they were pre-existing "rock chips". I politely informed him that it was not the case as they were not there before. Regardless, I was expecting him to repair the WHOLE bumper as I asked him for a complete re-spray. He disagreed and only understood that they were to repair the part of the bumper that was damaged and that he was to just paint everything else. While I don't know why anyone would pay to have a whole bumper re-sprayed and not have any other damage fixed, I will will concede that I could have been clearer in my miscommunication. He then began to work on the vehicle "digging" out the trapped residue and began wet sanding and polishing. After about 20 minutes, he called me back where I found that the prior debris was in fact gone but in its place were craters. I stated that this was unacceptable and asked him to fix it. At this point, he communicates that he is unable to do anything but re-spray the whole bumper in order to make it right. I ask if he can guarantee that the next spray will not have any debris or specks trapped in the clear coat as well. At this point, he is visibly irritated and states that he can't guarantee that it will look perfect. He also stated that if I didn't feel comfortable with us finishing the work, that he would give me a refund. Needless to say, I asked for my money back. I attempted to be as polite as possible for the rest of the exchange but unfortunately he did not return the courtesy. While I'm hoping that my experience was a one off after all of these favorable reviews, I can not in good conscience recommend this shop to anyone that cares about their vehicle or has good attention to detail. In his defense, he was the lowest bidder and had a fantastic turnaround. If I didn't need my car at 100% and could settle for 80%, I might consider recommending him to someone.
