I recently got into a car accident, and decided to go with the repair shop that my insurance recommended. I was hesitant at first, because I was a bit skeptical. Was this actually a quality shop? Are they only getting recommended because they have some sort of deal with my insurance? But this being my first accident ever, I decided to go with Caliber Collision anyway for the convenience, and I'm so glad I did! The whole team here was so kind, helpful and communicative. I forgot the name of the lady who worked at the front desk, but she was so sweet! What could've been an incredibly stressful situation was seamless and reassuring. I was kept up-to-date with repairs as they were happening, and they even added a lifetime warranty to repairs made on my car. My son's new car was hit from behind and badly damaged while waiting at a traffic light. The Caliber Collision team did a great job, from intake all the way through to completion of the work. They kept us informed, clearly explained the insurance process and my deductible, and when parts were delayed, they let me know. When we got the car back, it was impossible to tell it had ever been in an accident. I'll definitely use them again for those situations where life throws you a curve and you need a repair service to work with your insurance company. "I am extremely disappointed with the lack of coordination between Caliber (Bellevue/Everett/Aurora) and insurance. After being told my vehicle would go to the Bellevue location on Thursday I found out they refused to take it and put it in a storage without my permission than the following day we agreed on Aurora location, I was suddenly told on Friday at 4:13 PM--too late to take action--that the vehicle wouldn't even be released from storage until Monday. The most frustrating part is the constant switching of locations. I agreed to Aurora, only to have Everett suggested later, causing massive confusion. Because I do not have rental coverage, every day Caliber spends 'submitting requests' or debating which lot has space is money out of my own pocket. I've been told the vehicle isn't even physically moving yet, yet they can't seem to finalize where it's going. I expect a resolution first thing Monday morning, but the lack of urgency and clear communication has been a major setback." I had my ford f350 back end fixed and had it returned Dec 31 unfortunately they broke my tail light putting it back on so they stated they would order a new one and get back to me. Well it's now Feb 17 and still no tail light. I have called several times and they tell me every time it should be delivered any day and they would call me but no phone call. Problems at the Bellevue site. Big problems for a 2023 Subaru Soltera! Don't take a late model Subaru to Caliber! I filed a claim and chose Caliber Glass in Kirkland, based on reviews. When I spoke to the scheduler, I was told that my Subaru Soltera had to be worked on at the Bellevue location, since it had a certified floor. Bellevue was very inconvenient, but my other choice was Seattle, which is farther. I had to bring in the car by 9:00. The receptionist was pretty clueless as to the process of when work will start ("I don't know, when they get here"), and How long it will take ("I don't know"). Collecting keys was the limit of her services. After taking a Lyft home, I had arrangements to get a ride by end of day to pick up the car. I received a phone call at 1:009 PM, informing me that the wrong windshield was ordered, and the install would not happen that day. Went back the next business day ( I waited until they called and confirmed that the windshield was in). Brought in the car, and the technician had it completed within two hours. The Subaru window depends on the calibration in the sensor on the windshield for different functions. Come to find that the calibration was either not done or done incorrectly. This was evidenced by the automatic high beam and the intermittent windshield wipers no longer working. Now I will need to go to the dealer for actual calibration. :( read more

I took my car to a body repair shop. I was treated so rudely, they acted as if they didn't have time for me. I left and called Caliber Collision. What a difference. Everyone was wonderful, and the man who did the repairs kept me updated by email throughout the whole process The front desk girl was amazing, she had great customer service. I always have great time with Caliber. I am never disappointed, but they definitely went above and beyond at this location. Challan clearly put in his best effort, worked hard all while being super friendly at the same time. He's very pleasant in general, and so are the front desk employees. They also helped me look for my keys one day (they were just in my bag, duh). My car looks amazing, smells amazing, and they even took care of my tire pressure sensor which I did not expect but was an awesome surprise! After a repair in my car, I drove away and noticed one of the tire pressure lights on on the dashboard. I called twice, emailed twice and no response. Later I took my vehicle to the dealer for an oil change, they found the tire sensor needed to be replaced and it was out of stock, still missing today. To make things worse, three tires were more worn out than the one missing the sensor and as it turns out, the shop replaced that one tire and didn't think about replacing all four, for the vehicle to be well balanced and safe to drive. This oversight cost me $750. I called the shop again, I was told they had a new manager and he will be calling me back directly. That was back in December and I am still waiting for that call. I've been waiting for the shop to address my complaint before I wrote a review, but I just grew tired of waiting. read more

My parked car was hit by someone who kindly left a note, so her insurance is paying for these repairs and will reimburse me for the rental car. The quality of the work done by Caliber looks perfect, and everyone I interacted with was so friendly and helpful! What could have been a terrible experience thanks to my car insurance company, ended up being made wonderful all thanks to Caliber Collision, specifically thanks to Robert Hoskin's help. He was very kind, patient, and communicative every step of the process and my car was fixed with no issues--it truly could not have gone any more smoothly. The other staff, including the front desk worker who got my car rental to come quickly, were friendly as well. I highly recommend Caliber for their customer service and repair quality! Here's the story for those curious... My insurance company, Geico, failed to confirm the appointment with Caliber Collision, even though I'd scheduled it over a week prior (not to mention, this was the second time this had happened at a different auto shop). The appointment came through to Caliber's system the morning of my appointment, but I was already on my way over by then. When I arrived, they explained the situation and told me they were unable to take me in as they were at capacity, which was completely understandable and only my insurance was to blame. By then, I was frustrated with the whole situation, and as I was sitting in my car, on the phone with my insurance and ready to head home, Robert ever so graciously appeared and told me they were able to work it out so that they could take my car in right then and there. Even with my prior moodiness, he was so friendly and really saved me from the hassle of having to reschedule at a different auto shop further into the busy holiday season. The repair process itself went quickly and was of high quality. Hopefully I don't have to go to an auto repair shop again or anytime soon, but if I had to, I'd return here. I had my car hit at Safeway parking lot while I was inside the store as I went back to my car within 10 minutes someone had hit my passenger door and fender. GEICO is my insurance and they highly recommend Caliber Collision. First I would like to say that when dropping my car off and talking with the office manager Lana she was so very helpful and very high customer service skills. She went above and beyond to help me with all questions. I asked if I could do a review for her no one asked me to do this . I also talked with Louis about the damage and he was just as helpful and had a very calming voice because I was so upset, he assured me that my car would look good as new and explained step by step what they were going to do . Then George came over and introduced himself and I knew my car was going to be in good hands. My experience is only conversational, but I think it's important because most people's first interactions with a company like this will be conversational. I called the number off the google page. A man answered and I asked if I can stop by for drop in times to get an estimate or if I need to make an appointment. He didn't know much and said he could transfer me to the front desk. He made a comment that it's a couple months booked out. I was surprised by this, and shared that I've found estimates aren't that far booked out, but the repairs are. He asked who my insurance company is, and then he proceeded to tell me if I got an estimate at their shop I had to get my repair done there. I told him that's not necessarily true. I want to get multiple estimates from multiple locations before moving forward. He spoke to me condescendingly and said he's been doing this for 30-40 years and he knows how this works. Anyhow, I didn't make an appointment. I actually won't use this company at all due to this initial interaction. Customer service is everything and honestly it takes zero effort to be kind, friendly, and respectful with customers. read more

I was scheduled to get work done here, at the Bellevue WA location. My car was recently vandalized. It took a few weeks to get in. They called me an hour before I was scheduled, and said my insurance cancelled them. I contacted my insurance, and they had no idea and when they called, they said they wouldn't say why they cancelled. Unprofessional. I had Enterprise scheduled, I had someone take my kids to school. Planning went into this and they had no concern or care for that. I would have appreciated them calling sooner so I didn't have to scramble, regardless of the reason. We're adults, no need to lie. My daughter hit a deer on a road trip with pretty extensive damage to the front end of a Nissan Sentra. We picked Caliber because of their warranty and multiple locations in the US. Knowing that if there was an issue with the repair here in Bellevue, it could be addressed in Florida where she was moving was a huge factor in picking Caliber. The repair was completed in a week, a day or two earlier than estimated and they text me updates every other day. They dealt with the insurance details, so I had no headache there. Progressive sent us there to repair a bumper. As per December 26th Caliber Collision Bellevue confirmed the the car is ready and checked. But there was a gap between the body of the car and a bumper; a headlight partially covered with glue,part of plastic cheaped when the worker touched it. When we sent the car to the shop there were no issues with the headlight!!!; no license plate attached to the car. We waited another week. Meanwhile we were told by Robert they'd ordered a new bumper cover. January 3rd. We got a call about the car readiness. We are busy people so I asked if our plate licence had been attached,we can't wait. When we arrived the only problem they'd fixed was a headlight. As for a gap issue Dan said they haven't found a bumper (we were told by Rob it was arriving earlier?!?). And then they brought a car back to garage and fixed everything right away in less than 10min. Dan said they have 90 cars waiting to be fixed. But the insurance paid off everything why should I wait for the prepaid issues to be fixed? The quality controllers don't do their work at all! They charged $80 for quality control and both times nothing was done! read more

Took my wife's XC90 in for a quote. They took photos and said a service advisor would call me next day with a quote. 4 days later no quote, service advisor Robert said he had 6 in front of me to do. Waited a couple more days, no quote so called back to see if he could tell me when I could receive a quote. He said he could not give me a date on quote. A day or two later he provided quote and submitted to USAA who paid them right away. I emailed to ask when we could schedule. Emailed a second time and he said they were booking April appointments. I said let's book for April. No word back so sent another email or two over the next week to get on the schedule. Finally called today and found Robert is on vacation but there is a note on my file "based on previous experience they will not do the work." The manager did not have the details to explain that to me. Again, USAA paid them already and 3 weeks later I need to find another shop and get USAA to chase Caliber for the refund and pay a new shop. read more

2 years after repair, clear coat bubbled off. They said sorry, we had a bad supply of product but we will re-do it. Took 2 additional weeks to re-do because they damaged the door gasket (somehow), messed up the door handle, AND added new scratches to another door. We asked them to fix that too and they tried (another 3 days) and fixed most of it and blamed us for the rest and refused to do any more stating - it's an older car (7 years) so you are just going to have some scratches. This is poor customer service and I DO NOT RECOMMEND Caliber! Simply ridiculous. I'm a professional/ executive at a publicly traded company and if the insensitive manager made this statement to a customer at my company - he'd be looking for a new job. They are in-network with MetLife which always makes me a bit wary (re: partiality to insurance company) but they did the job on time; returned my car with much cleaner interior than when I left it; fixed a critique I had on the spot at pick up; and called me to let me know I that had double paid my deductible and so they would be sending me a check in the mail. The last two you could say could have been avoided in the first place but they handled both so well, I left a satisfied customer. read more

Not sure if there was a recent change in management because we had such great service repairing our car a couple years ago. That made us want to go back without shopping for additional quotes from other body shops. But from waiting on quotes for days until I followed up, to not getting a call back to actually make the appointment until I followed up again, to not having a rental service call me to coordinate having a car available at the time I planned on dropping off the car- when the front desk lady said she'd happily reach out to them but most likely never did; I ended up cancelling the appointment. If that was the level of service they were providing BEFORE I dropped off the car, I'm good. There are plenty of body shops that offer great service. read more

This shop is a rip off, do NOT bring your car here to get fixed. I brought my Audi in and they charged my insurance co. over $13,000 to fix it. I picked it up and a day later I had to bring it to Audi because the system was all messed up. The parts weren't put in properly, too. They are thieves. Just trust me on this one. read more
